Actually, this is no more far-fetched than Lexie having a medical degree and now being Chief of Staff. I like the idea...there's even a small element of believability to it. When Stefano threatened to disown EJ because he wouldn't let him raise Johnny, EJ mentioned he had a good education and could manage on his own. I think it's possible that a son of Stefano might have gotten a law degree but opted to race cars afterwards instead of practicing law. I'm sure it's a convenience for the show, too, since Salem seems to be without an on-camera lawyer these days. Mickey is there, but you never see him.
