Is it wrong that it was the talk about a new perfume that killed me more than than the pole-dancing in the middle of the work day? Every time Frons and his peeps come up with a new product to get ABC some extra money that dream I have of Kendall and Greenlee no longer working together becomes more distant because there is no way he'll set any of these characters free as long as he's shilling through the Fusion vortex. Fusion is the Supermarket from Hell and Frons is Satan the Manager. And look Erica is free from stupid-a** talk-shows, Kerica cosmetics company!!!! Please. Pretty please.

I completely agree. But, but ... I do have to admit the dude creeped me out today. During that last scene he looked like he was thisclose to taking Ryan Jr. out of his pants and getting friendly with it while... You get the picture.

That was my chuckle of the episode. I wonder what he's done with the portrait of Erica? They need to show us Val's shrine to Erica, lol.

Got to love Erica

Even though her show has been taken off the air, she is still at work encouraging everyone to believe that it is not over and that she is working hard to get it back on television. Now that is the Erica I know, e.g. the one who stands up for herself. She even stopped everyone from packing up. Go get em Erica!

I totally agree. The decline started ten years ago with McTavish and her horrible storylines. This time ten years ago, Ryan was introduced, Kelsey Jefferson was having her "Ally McBeal" type of fantasies, Camille Hawkins the Cirque du Soleil reject was floating above trees, Mateo was in a coma having whacked out psychic visions... and that was only 8 weeks full into her return. From then on, it's been hatchet job after hatchet job disguised as repairing the damage.

AMC has lost its identity over the last decade because too many people are putting their own egos and agendas into the production of this show.

    • I admit...I too thought of Penny and Good Times at that ending with SilkPress.
    • Yes, just so.  Thanks for the info. I could tell this was going to be a big thing with ShawnD in this danger! Especially love that the little guy is Andrew!
    • I think the shocker would be if he's NOT playing Dumas. That's where Josh Griffith plays most of his stories. Now they have Cole "self-isolating" because they don't want to put up that hospital set. Will Cole cough himself to death at the GCAC? What a "storyline." I can't believe how much JG is playing with us regarding Nick and Sharon. The teasing has become pathetic, especially for Shick fans who want them back together. My guess is that he'll reveal his real name once he is exposed.
    • Maybe we'll meet Leslie's mama who'll be a former Articulette and they'll build the rival family from there that a lot of people seem to think is missing. It'd make sense considering Anita's been hammering on about going on tour and reviving her music career.
    • hahaha at the Brennan shade.   But even I saw this and have to agree. What's really sad is that some of the person on that list could easily have a love interest that is on the canvas. They just need to be written for.
    • The thought has crossed my mind. Tricia Mann-Grant did say in her EW interview w/ MVJ and DD, that Leslie wants to be a Dupree just as bad as she wants Eva to be. I believe now that's the direction they are going in, that maybe she is just obsessed with the family. I could be wrong though.
    • True. But I have always had mixed feelings about that twist. Since I love the Damian storyline which already had twists and turns. Also I could not wait for a new powerful AND BLACK businessman to mix it up at some point with Victor. It just seem like another twist that was added on for twist sake. And also for a character (whether I love him or not) to hijack a new and refreshing storyline so they can be propped.    Once good thing that I can say about JG is that he loves to keep the Abbotts in rotation. So I could see that happening with Diane. I don't think she has mentioned her backstory, either. I would be intrigued.
    • That's how I feel. Beats could have been played for the past couple months wherein Dante and Gio interacted and had a difference of opinion -- or something. I don't know. I do know that this crushing rant that blames everything on Gio is absurd. -- Reading over all the comments here about characters and couples, it's kind of amazing that we have any show left considering the number of times actors and writers and execs were given influence to make major character and story decisions. Too many cooks in the kitchen.
