But wasn't Addie locked up since age 13 or something?

I recall her telling Dorian or Blair when she was 1st released from At. Annes that she is practically a virgin other than that "one time" but she never mentioned what she was referring to.

Addie? Oh, all she cares about is that she knows he isn't Miles Laurence ... or that he killed Spencer Truman ... or that she killed Spencer Truman ... or something like that.

Miles, though, is an outsider in Llanview, like Allison, so he could relate to that. I've always wondered about Allison Perkins, to be honest. A "nice" girl like her - daughter of the warden at Statesville Prison - ending up as Mitch's follower and minion? What was her childhood and young adult life like? What kind of home did she grow up in? Did she have many friends, or was she sheltered completely from the outside world (that is, until Mitch took her in)?

There has to be plenty of skeletons in that girl's closet.

Supposedly, Addie was raped by one of the doctors at the sanitarium. Of course, that was when Mia Korf was still Blair, and Blair was still half-Asian.

Although, Miles as Blair's brother ... that might have some potential.

Question is, does making him her half-brother mean he can't be Miles Laurence?

Oooh! Maybe, Addie is Mitch, Walker and Miles' bio mom? That would certainly explain many things about the Laurences.

Nah. Too crazy.

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
