Where do you get your information for some of your comments, Jess? Cindy McCain was charged and convicted for the perscription scandal. She was sentenced to several months of community service.

IA that Cindy McCain's drug abuse is fair game. Everyone knows about it, and the MSM reports on it. Diane Sawyer just did a special which focused heavily on it.

In January 1993, Tom Gosinski, an AVMT employee, who had discovered her illegal drug use, was terminated on budgetary grounds.[43] Subsequently, he tipped off the Drug Enforcement Administration, and a federal investigation ensued.[38][43] McCain's defense team, led by John McCain's Keating Five lawyer John Dowd, secured an agreement with the U.S. Attorney's office for McCain, a first-time offender, that avoided charges while requiring her to pay financial restitution, enroll in a diversion program and do community service.[38][10][43] Meanwhile, in early 1994 Gosinski filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against McCain, which he told her he would settle for $250,000.[38][43] In response, Dowd characterized this request as blackmail and requested that officials investigate Gosinski for extortion.[38][43] In the end, both Gosinski's lawsuit and the extortion investigation against him were dropped.[38][39]

Knowing that the DEA prosecutors were about to publicly disclose her past addiction, McCain preemptively revealed the story to reporters saying she was doing so willingly: "Although my conduct did not result in compromising any missions of AVMT, my actions were wrong, and I regret them."[38][39][10]

I think the Republicans will be better for humanity and the future of our country. I don't want to see us becoming more dependent on government to solve all of our problems. IE universal healthcare and almost a trillion dollars in new spending.

Taxes are not the only issue that I side with the Republicans on, although they are important. I feel everyone should be given a tax break..the middle class, lower class, upper class, and businesses. (McCain's plan) While reigning in spending..not increasing it by leaps and bounds. The Democrats, through taxes, want to pit the classes against one another by redistributing wealth and acheivement through healthcare and tax rebates.

The most important issue to me is our nation's safety. For the sake of my family, I want a strong president that understands fully the dangers of Iran and terrorism as a whole. I want a president that understands the strategic placement of our troops in Iraq in regard to Iran. I want to keep fighting in the middle east, instead of pulling out and strengthening the possibility that we will one day be fighting in our back yard.

But of course if you feel the trillion dollars would be better spent supporting the have nots in our country instead of keeping us safe, then I can understand your belief..I just don't share it. I feel that our country above all others, gives the opportunity to succeed on your own and not have to rely on government. Past generations have understood this and that is what made us the strongest nation in the world...The "Age of Obama" and the path to government dependency, that he will ask us to follow, is very scary to me..

The wording of this article is a little misleading. She was charged, but as a first time offender after completion of the financial restitution and community service her record was expunged. That's different than not being charged at all. You cannot be sentenced and carry out a sentence for a crime without charges being brought against you. That is just not the way our legal system works. The article should have said she avoided a criminal record..She had been charged..

She was charged, convicted, sentenced, she carried out her sentence, and then her record was expunged...thanks for the article Roman.

Well, the reason why I posted it is because your word on matters is suspect. It took 90 seconds to find this, and now because you disagree with it, it's wrong.

And then you wonder why manydon't believe a word you say.

Why don't you post something that shows she was charged, convicted and sentenced. The article does say she served CS. Other than that......what's the problem? You don't believe it?

Too bad. Later. :D

Is that right?

Are these the same Republicans who spent 6 of the last 7 years driving the debt up to the highest point in this nations' history? Those Republicans? McCain's plan? HE doesn't even know what his plan is. I haven't heard him mention it in two weeks (Maybe he did say it, in between telling everyone 'The fundementals of our economy are strong' while businesses were going bankrupt and people were losing their life's work).

I have not said that all Republicans are bad news. But, the worst thing that has happened to this country in the last 20 eyars has been GWB's presidency and the Republican-led Congress who have squandered our money like they were at the Bunny Ranch outside of Las Vegas. No thought to the american people...and NOW that the new bill has passed (Which is loaded down with pork from both sides) we sit here and talk about humanity.

For the good of humanity........it's time for this Republican Partyu to go somewhere, and return when they actually believe is fiscal responsibility, and not intruding on people's constitutional rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

That is humane......NOT the horseshit we have been fed for the last 7 years.

What's very scary to me is that this idea does not put country first. Country first means Americans first. Of course I think we need to be safe, but too many people here are suffering. The money we spend in Iraq needs to be spent here; on education, infrastucture, etc. "Supporting the have-nots!" What do you think is going to happen in this country when the number of "have-nots" exceeds the number of 'haves"? How come we can't work for both?

There already exsists a class distinction. You validate that by using the term have nots. Yes this country does afford opportunities to succeed. However, access to the opportunities is not always there. (education, college etc) These are not always attainable. And since jobs are scarce, it is often hard to find an entry level jobs that lends to advancement.

I believe that we need to change our priorites. World peace, harmony, getting along, whatever you want to call it must be achieved through diplomacy and our willingness to work with others.

We need to be safe at home. We need to look out for the well being of our citizens first.

It is wrong. Think about it...Can you be sentenced for a crime that you were not charged with? It makes no f-ing sense...

I dont give a sh1t.

You can believe the other posters who wanted to argue with me about the Senate NOT voting on the bailout after it was rejected in the House...Roman I think you would rather have any information that supports your point...twisted, misleading, or flat out wrong...as long as it supports your argument..

Roman...I'm starting to worry about you man...You do realize that a fine and comm. service IS a sentence..OMG. I dont care to go back and forth posting articles with you Roman. I am posting facts from my brain..not some crap you found from google.. maybe if you had a better grasp on reality then it would be more fun..

The article is factually incorrect. I cant help it that you have no idea about our legal system and that you believe every article that you find...Your problem, not mine. I've already tried to explained.

    • Great scenes with Dani and Chelsea today. Dani was amazing and finally showed what a great mother she can be.
    • Bill's face just cracked cause Chelsea wanted alone time with her mom lol!!!
    • I remember a couple months ago when Chelsea told Kat about the threesome and her interest in women.   Pretty sure Naomi doesn't know because when Allison and Chelsea were on their previous date, Naomi invited her over to her table and some at the table assumed that Allison was in a conventional heterosexual monogamous marriage.
    • Well, this was a difficult one for me. I love Xander, but I definitely support Sarah too. That’s what makes a great soap couple, when you enjoy them both equally. When I first watched Days, Steve was the flashy one I first noticed, but Kayla’s quiet strength was the anchor of that pairing, and still is. I think Xarah might get there in 30 years. I think Sarah created this nightmare scenario with her choice back in January. Had she just gone to Xander in the first place, told him calmly with Maggie as backup, and encouraged him to legally remove Philip, then this would have been over without bloodshed. But she wanted to put him on a leash. We saw her early on almost enjoying her power over Philip and telling him she owned him and he had to listen to her. And eventually, her plan worked and Xander and Philip started to love each other. If this had been exposed on Day 1 Xander would not have the level of betrayal he felt for his brother. Listen to his words as he beat him, it was anger about being tricked, at building a bond he now thinks is fake. And his fear that people are ‘laughing behind his back’ has been a theme throughout. Sarah’s initial argument that Victor would have ‘wanted’ this was always weak. The stronger one was her fear of losing Xander to jail. She should have drawn a line last year when she stopped him killing Brady. But she enabled that behaviour and accepted it. This mess, where she dragged more and more people into her lies, was not sustainable. Maggie should have told her to fess up as soon as she learned about it. Today Xander was leaning into anger, but every now and then that mask would slip and you would see the deep hurt. When he said he could no longer trust her that was devastating, but she knew this all along. I am glad we got those scenes with Victoria to see that he is still in there struggling to manage his emotions. This is a man who was treated like an animal by Victor, neglected by Fiona, and trained to operate on anger. He has absolutely no tools to manage it. He desperately needs therapy. Pity the only shrink in town is one he shot once upon a time.
    • Holy overreaction Batman, chill! Bill not everything is about you, geesh
    • So I guess Dani and family know Chelsea is bisexual? I like that, didn't need to even be a coming out story, just is what is it and it's cool.
    • I don't care about a few of the storylines today.. but the Leslie/Eva scenes are well-worth watching.  Leslie gaslighting Eva  -- Leslie admitting to Eva that she was riding the motorcycle that ran Laura off the road AND admitting to the potassium, and then telling Eva that she'll go to jail too because she knew and didn't say -- Leslie claiming that Eva is an accessory-after-the-fact? The Chelsea/Allison scenes at Uptown, wow.  Allison realizes that Chelsea is falling for her, and Allison's heart belongs to her husband, so Allison breaks off their casual fling since Chelsea's feelings aren't casual anymore.   And then Chelsea walks into the country club when Dani is fake-kissing Pamela, and explodes at her mother that it's insulting to real women who actually love women.
    • If my girl Eva ends up in jail, somebody will pay.

    • She saw Bill enter the club with Hayley
    • I was happy to see Naomi and Jacob attempt to kick back. But much happier to watch Jacob crash Eva and Leslie at the diner. let's get to the juice.
