Now she is just outright lying. Wasn't it proven that she DID support the BTN?

I wouldn't say she is outright lying. She changed her mind. She was for it, then opposed it..

Palin DID INDEED request earmarks. She hired a damned lobbyist to lobby D.C. for them! Alaska's the most taxed and spend state in the union per citizen! Palin DID INDEED leave Wasilla with a $20 million DEBT! Obama is MOST definitely a reformer. McCain was, but now he isn't. He's changed a lot in the last couple years, when he decided to run with W and then support W/Dick even though he used to oppose W/Dick.

Not for the bridge, Palin didn't, but she accepted the funds anyhow and spent it on other things. She was for the bridge until she started getting flack then she turned on her cronies.

 Great post Roman! Short and to the point!

Fact Check: McCain misstates Palin earmarks record

  • Member

Ms. Walters and Ms. Behar also asked about the campaign’s contention that Gov. Palin would stop earmarks, suggesting she had accepted earmarks for Alaska.

Today after the show aired, the Obama campaign issued several press releases on the interview.

One of them stated:

“Today on ‘The View,’ John McCain defended his campaign’s latest ad campaign, which has been debunked repeatedly as both false and sleazy. In running the sleaziest campaign since South Carolina in 2000 and standing by completely debunked lies on national television, it’s clear that John McCain would rather lose his integrity than lose an election.”

Group says McCain broke 9/11 pledge not to air ads

Oooooh the people in Denver need to know that McCain thinks Obama is being disrespectful to Palin....so she didn't basically laugh at community organizers? I thought I read that McCain praised the work of community organizers yesterday.

I'm surprised that BW went after McCain like that. Maybe she thought she was doing one of her celebrity shred sessions. I don't think she's happy with his vp choice so maybe that's why she wasn't too happy with McCain.

They should do a lot of ads depicting McCain as out of touch.

BW had a good question there, who is she going to reform, you?

Now they need a double talk express ad or straight talk express falling off the tracks or something. McCain sounds like a baby saying that the tone of the campaign would have been different if Obama had only agreed to his town hall meetings. Vindictive is not one the characteristics I look for in a leader.

She said "I guess being a small town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except you have real responsibilites". I dont think she was laughing at it. IMO she implied that she didn't know what a community organizer is. I've never heard of one either, until Obama. I'm still not sure what one does...seems like a blanket term for community work to me..

I saw a clip from Susan Sarandon saying that Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor!

I wonder why Obama didn't agree to the town hall meetings?

I wish he would have agreed to them. That way, McCain wouldn't know the issues in a more friendly setting.

When is the last time McCain even talked about the issues?
