I think I've made a fair attempt to be civil with you. I have generally been in the habit of apolotizing if someone mistakes my tone for other than what it is, out of courtesy. I think it's a drain when someone misinterprets my tone because of whatever they're feeling or assuming but I still try to take note of that. Today's the first time I didn't bother because I just didn't.

If you want to make me responsible for Jess then I won't be. You have no idea what bothers me or not and I happen to like many of Jess' post. I'm not interested in getting in between you and her and I didn't sift through all of your exchanges to know how things arrived at that point.

Unless you're saying that I said something to you then I can't help you. I don't see how that changes anything since I'm not an enforcer. I can believe people should be mindful but I can't make it happen. I don't even wish to have that kind of power or influence over anyone.....except maybe my family.

I totally believe you and that's why I'm providing positive endorsements on both for those that like that kind of information.

BOTH parties have gotten so ugly with attack campaigns and I hope that someday soon they will realize that the American voter is getting fed up with that tactic. Don't tell me about crap that just muddies the waters. Give me something I can USE to make an informed decision instead of letting me walk into the voting booth with only tabloid gossip and and idea of who has the most innovative namecalling.

It was a phrase often used to refer to African Americans who believe in equality. If the Congressman says he did not know that phrase had racial overtones, I believe him. I also believe that Obama was not being sexist when he said Hillary Clinton lashes out when she is down. Nor do I think Bill Clinton said anything racist.

American's are getting sick of the negative crap. And, they are getting sick of ads that lie.

Didn't Zel Miller speak at the Republican Convention in 2004? If he did, that is pretty much renouncing them without saying it. I seem to recall that he appeared there... Of course, what did he have to lose? He was on his way out anyway...

Because, in many cases, those people are the ones hiring you. And given how they enjoy profit, they would rather lay you off to offset the increase in their taxes rather than be out the money. How do you think Big Oil has remained rich with record profits? When the going got rough, they passed their increased costs to us rather than eat away at their bottom line. We can take from the rich... it won't hurt them, but it always manages to bite US in the butt!

But i sure as hell dont think its fair or right to make those who do better in life and support the lifestyle they want by making them pay more than people who do not do as well in life as they do. They worked for it, they deserve it. Everyone should pay the same amount.
