Members DevotedToAMC
Enough to get her the win...she is beating McCain right now in polls and can easily pick a strong contender for VP
Members Wales2004
I think it's great that he came to her defense to try and diffuse this and I'm almost certain that the whole Kennedy family would echo his sentiments. The thing is that it's not limited to the Kennedys. It goes further than that.
Members Southofnowhere
I seen some guy on the News saying it was May , guess he was wrong? One has to wonder with all the "crazy" supporters of both Clinton and Obama why Clintons keeps talking about this? In the next few weeks some nutty Clinton suppoter killed Obama she would NEVER get the nom and some Obama suppoter would likely kill her. She either has no clue what's she's talking about or she's EVIL! Not if Millions of Obama supporters blames her for him being killed , which given these comments they would! Members DevotedToAMC
Listen once again. There is no way she insinuated to a crazed supporter to assassinate Obama...where people get that idea is beyond me. She is not insisting that someone kill him so she ascends to be the nominee. I don't want things to work out this way but it might happen...I hope it does not
Members Wales2004
Some people would vote for her but the question is how dicey would it be for the Democrats to have her run? By saying what she did and as more than once, she placed herself in a position that if something happens to him, some people will not hesitate to blame her. We know that death tends to place people in a greater position than they were before.
Members DevotedToAMC
That is exactly what might happen if he is to be assassinated...and it would be foolish to blame her when she never insisted someone in her camp kill Obama so she gets the nomination
Members Southofnowhere
Is something happens to Obama the whole country will go crazy and rightly or wrongly given their comments the Clintions would be in grave danger and something horrible would likely happen. Everytime i see Obama in public i get this awful feeling everytime a woman comes up to him , if always see it being woman who shoots him. Hopefully he's so well prptected this will never happen but it's my biggest fear.
Members Roman
South, that's the thing. Not one person can say what was meant or how somebody will take it, which is why statements like this are best left unsaid. If you can't say exactly what you mean, don't say anything. That's true as well, Wales. And that's also the shame of it.
Members Ryan
I think it's ludicrous to believe she was trying to send some kind of hidden message, but it was in poor taste. I think she regrets what she said, but it's just further proof that the more this goes on, the more Obama & Hillary will make these kinds of gaffes. Members Southofnowhere
If he were killed Obama would be remembered along side with JFK and MLK and you know the news would air and reair everything bad thing the Clintions have ever said about him. I can't talk about this anymore because's so scary to think what would happen if Obama were to die. Obama and his team are keeping their traps shut hoping to ride this think out and win the nom , while Hillary just keeps talking and talking. Her suppoters also keep blaming this stuff on her being tired ot stressed , wouldn't count aginst her being able to handle the white House? Members Wales2004
You know it is a morbid topic and there are people out there crazy enough to think that doing something like this would be a good idea. Crazy is the operative word and it would be naive of me to think those kind of people don't exist but hopefully nothing happens. There are also people out there who love conspiracy theories and I'm almost certain that this would take route because there are already people having a problem with the fact she said it regardless of intent. There's no excuse for it period.
Members Jess
Hmmm some of them were directed at me  and yes, it's water under the bridge. I really do wish Hillary had not said that. I don't think there was any hidden meaning, but it was not something that needed to be said. I thought, from reading the transcript, that KO made some good points. She did apologize, however. It's just that time of the season and it think remarks like that are going to continue to blow up. Huckabee's remarks bothered me far more. Members Wales2004
His comments bothered me and it was in poor taste, even if he says it's a joke. He apologized through the media and he said he apologized personally to Obama. I think the idea of something like that lingers long after the words. I can't actually say one bothered me more than another because it's kind of two different things at play to me. She said it before and the media overlooked it mainly because it was in print and then she repeats it today when surely she should know that it's a sensitive topic. It's a very odd thing to say and there's such a different tone to this than there was with Huckabee and it really doesn't help that it's a Democrat putting out these kind of vibes at a time like this where the party seems to be a mess already.
