One more time.

I'll concede a point when I feel I should concede a point.

How is saying I'll answer a post in the manner I see fit arguing with you?

If you don't want to have conflict, then agree to disagree with someone. But when someone tells you they have the right to answer a question in their own way.....

Try respecting taht, ok?

Thanks....

That is what debate is about! What you guys need to realize is that we disagree for the most part. I am probably never going to be "pleased" with your response. Debating is essentially finding fault with your opponents arguments..If you guys want me to agree, be "pleased", or "happy" every time you respond..then this thread is probably not for you..

If anyone singles me out in the future...I will just ignore it...I am tired of justifying myself..leave me alone! If you want to refute a comment I have made fine, but stop talking about the way in which I debate. That is totally irrevalent! I'm sorry if my tone has changed. But it seems the further along we go the worse everyone's behavior is becoming...

The louder the cries from Obama the more evident that the negative ads are working. This man doesn't seem to be tough enough to be the president. He seems very emotional. I don't want a whiner in the White House.

There is an opportunity to calmly refute negative ads, but when you get all worked up, you just seem frazzled.

The least demanding aspect of the presidency is the campaign, if you can not handle the selection process, you will not handle the job. [Woodrow Wilson 1916- during his second campaign]

Ex-Clinton Aide: Media Tougher On Palin

Political Players: Former Clinton Chief Strategist Mark Penn Argues The Press Has Lost Its Credibility

CBSNews.com: So you think the media is being uniquely tough on Palin now?

Mark Penn: Well, I think that the media is doing the kinds of stories on Palin that they're not doing on the other candidates. And that's going to subject them to people concluding that they're giving her a tougher time.

    • Above, I said "Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her." Now adding onto that thought, I would clarify that sometimes I think Vanessa fools around for fun in a positive way.    But other times I sense that she's actually unconsciously trying to demean herself as way of numbing some inner pain -- it's hard to explain what I mean.  Sort of like... sometimes people drink for fun. But other times, people drink  in a self-destructive way, in order to drown out some inner pain. So I think she needs therapy about all of that.
    • A lot of these episodes are available on YT. The rape storyline starts around February or March of 1979 and Roger's demise is sometime in March 1980. The stuff from before 1979 is close to non exisitent, unfortunately.
    • Maeve Kinkead was on from 1980-1988 (left in January); 1989-2000 (went recurring 1996-97); 2002 -For Josh /Reva's Wedding; 2005 (appearances in May and December) back regularly from Feb 2006-end Maureen Garrett was on from 1976-80; 1988-2006 (recurring from 2003 on); 2009 Michael Zaslow was on/off from 1971-1980 with breaks in between but usually made an appearance every year then again 1989-1997. There is a youtube commercial  Guiding Light in 1968

    • Holly's final big story was the Sebastian mess in late 2004.   Vanessa and Matt were promoted to regulars near the end and were heavily recurring prior to that starting around 2007/2008.
    • Keith has a softer presence, but it would have helped to see him be more aggressive or proactive in protecting them instead of standing around like a mannequin. A man the audience should be hoping and wishing gets back together with his wife. Nicole needs a new husband!
    • She needs to learn to be honest with her husband about her lusty interests because being sex positive only works if you're not cheating on your spouse.

    • Very disappointed in the writers in the way they are screwing with Nicole, Ted,  and Kat to make Leslie remain viable. So many holes everywhere.
    • Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling. Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!
