Victor IS friends with Dena. I remember an interview with him that came out right after she was fired actually and she was featured in this interview, and she was referred to as Gialanella's longtime friend Dena Higley.

It is irrelevant. We all know that Victor G. is to Dena what Victor Miller was to Mctavish....lol. DAYS John Newman is OLTL's Fran Meyers( <_< ) son....should we throw that out there too? :D

Yeah I know....those sons of bitches!! ;) We'll see what happens.

I'm curious what's going to happen to ALL of the fi-core script writers at OLTL once their cycles are up. I'm sure they worked out some kind of deal with ABC to protect their jobs, but it can't be forever... can it?

You know, with all these changes going on at the soaps....I really cannot figure out how Guza remains employed. Like honestly, this is something that I just cannot figure out.

ABC has gone through 2 sets of writing changes on OLTL (from Malone to Higley, from Higley to Carlivati) and AMC (from McTavish to B&E, from B&E to Pratt), yet Guza remains at the helm and is ruining GH. What kind of mindscrew (I'm watching my language, lol) is that?

I think Toups alluded to the possible change of his status not so long ago. I'm probably mistaken, but who knows, who knows... :D

Anything think Richard Culliton will come to OLTL to work with his wife (I think that Carolyn is his wife)? I know some AMC fans didn't like him when he wrote for AMC, but I think a Richard Culliton/Karen Harris team writing for GH will be good.

Well I know there is a lot of friction right now between JFP and Guza. And according to what I was told by my source (which in the past has been correct), the writers strike probably saved Guza. I was also told that given the way things are at GH, Jill may go before Guza. I'm not very happy either way. A good EP with a hack writer still makes for a clusterscrew for the show.

Richard and Karen wrote GH after Guza left the first time. Let's just say that Tony Geary wasn't a happy camper... LOL!

I don't see him back at GH. As for OLTL, I don't know, Richard is one of the best scriptwriters out there, but with all soaps downsizing who knows what will happen.

    • Yes! I actually started typing something up the other day but ended up not posting. It pretty much said something to the effect of the show feeling like there were a lot of balls in the air, the stories almost felt aimless. I am sure most of these will come to a head soon enough. I also wondered if it had something to do with the changes behind the scenes, but these lulls between major moments truly kill the momentum.
    • Will concede it's moving along slowly, but I am still hinged on every word every second. I refuse to miss anything.  OTOH, I watch GH were things are moving along  little quicker, but I have to FF certain scenes because it's extremely repetitive, where I don't get that from BTG.
    • I am toggling between Apr ‘82 Kay and Nikki, and Aug ‘92 Kay and Nikki… and it is a jarring juxtaposition! Nikki has calcified into a Stepford Wife

    • I've watched the show faithfully since the premiere, but I've found that I've let myself fall behind the past few weeks. It sort of feels like nothing is happening again. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would think for November sweeps they'd be pulling out all the stops.
    • I didn't even watch but saw the recap. I can't believe Billy Flynn has been saddled with all of this. He so deserved better.
    • Vernon was spotted by the worst person possible. Leslie is definitely going to use that to her advantage somehow.
    • Yesss! I cackled when Dr. Walked told Leslie to Google him (check my credentials). What is Elon's issue with Izaiah again? Considering we are supposed to believe that Izaiah was some troubled youth, why wouldn't Elon be gald his son has seemed to mature and has job at a great school. I get that family wounds and patterns can run deep, and somehow Joey was a paternal figure to Izaiah but Izaiah's troubles seem behind him.

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
