You all know my feelings on her already... <_<

Natalie is the only one here that needs to stay, the others needed to be gone like yeasterday.

As I said before, Paula Cwikly is the only one here that should stay.

Eric Freiwald, Linda Schreiber, Sandra Weintraub, and Beth Milstein (I've liked the dialogue in the few episodes she's written) are the only ones I'd keep here.

BTW, thanks for the list, dmarex. You rock! :)

Here's the updated Y&R list with the latest behind the scenes changes:

HW

Maria Arena Bell

Co-HW

Hogan Sheffer

AHW/BDW (listed everyday; I believe Cherie and Jeff are also script editors)

Scott Hamner

Cherie Bennett & Jeff Gottesfeld

Natalie Minardi Slater

AHW/BDW (not listed everyday)

Paula Cwikly

James Stanley

Marla Kanelos

Lisa Seidman

SW

Darin Goldberg & Shelley Meals

Eric Friewald & Linda Schreiber

Valerie Ahern & Christian McLaughlin

Beth Milstein

Sandra Weintraub

Although sometimes, writers will get to do both breakdowns and scripts. Y&R's a tricky soap to follow. Their credits can get kinda confusing (especially during the LML era). It was very frustrating as a "credits watcher." LOL

I hope some we'll get some firing at Y&R soon...

So Lisa Seidman is joining the show... is it a good thing? I remember her name from SuBe.

And from your list, Toups, I guess Michael Montgomery and Brett Staneart are out?

Off-topic...where did you get that Adam-Heather pic?

The most surprising, exciting, well-suited couple on Y&R in years. Totally surprised me, and then you see it and you say "aha--of course--makes PERFECT sense".

The actors really put 100% into the chemistry, and it worked. I'm delighted.

To fit with this thread....I wonder who dreamed that up? :-)

It's at least a start for a hopefully intensive house cleaning at Y&R. Although they still have their worst assets within: This Meals & Goldberg duo who wrote Thursday's show needs to be slapped back and worth with the papers they spilled their "yet another teen flick"-sh*te on...

I'd also fire all day-by-day breakdown writers because the show gets more and more fragmented - yet again. Ugh!

Y&R got so frustrating for me last week: Great characters ( Jill!), a great unexpected duo (Adam&Heather) and yet the most awful scenic set-ups and sometimes dialogue.

BTW; John F. Smith is now credited as "Jack Smith" on B&B - first time ever. It's of minor importance, but I often wonder why crew-members at B&B get listed with their nick names whereas Y&Rbills them the old-school way?

Someone mentioned this to me, and I think it's possible.

I think we're stuck with Maria for a while, for the simple fact she's married to Bill Bell, jr. We know how the Bell's love nepotism, like how Cricket was forced down our throats for YEARS before she became tolerable. I think Bill jr hopes that Maria will grow as a writer, no matter how stupid that sounds.

Anyway, someone will have to be the scapegoat for the declining ratings and quality, and that's going to be Griffith IMO. They already brought in Hogan to help Maria (we'll see how well that works). I wouldn't be surprised if Griffith is used as a scapegoat in this whole situation, no matter how much of the blame is on him. My only fear is we'll get yet another recycled EP who has no idea what he/she is doing.
