I think she's right on both parts.

Vincent and Layla are tokens of the worst kind but also, to me, distinctly uninteresting, waste of time characters. Especially Vincent. We can do better. We have. I need RJ, and I also would love Rachel.

John and ME is an ABC problem and RC doesn't seem to have much use for him but plays out the necessary story beats that he must. I expect the next to be grief for Marty, Marty's return as Susan Haskell, and the continuation of that until he finally leaves and hopefully frees up Marty.

I think Todd has been much improved by the unconventional slow burn reunion with Blair and the highlighting of his darker side again, but the Tommy story has to end.

I also can no longer stand the bitchy and self-righteous Rex of the last few years, and the only thing I can think of that would change that is a gay story. Not Gigi, though I like her.

In general they need to majorly revamp the twenty/thirtysomethings. They need strong characters like Kevin, Kelly, Cassie, Rachel, etc. then bring in some more interesting younger characters. Adrianna, Layla and Vincent are dull as all hell!
