Members Y&RWorldTurner Posted March 1, 2008 Members Share Posted March 1, 2008 It's not up to Barbara Bloom to fire anyone at ATWT. PGP is ultimately the company that makes that decision. The only reason Goutman is at ATWT is because its sister PGP soap AW was canceled, where Goutman was EP, all they did was shift him onto a different PGP soap. ATWT has a good writing team with people like Courtney Simon and Richard Culliton, it's just HW's like Jean Passanante and the equally horrible Leah Laiman that screw everything up. Add Goutman to the mix, it's a lethal combination. Goutman has been EP of ATWT for about 9 years now. He's the longest serving EP working for a single soap currently. It's time for new blood, ATWT is stagnant and things are NOT getting better. The show needs a severe behind the scenes shake-up. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
