February 9, 200817 yr Member This is the SOD cover for Y&R, it's a specialty cover just for the magazine I believe, SOD hasn't done one of those in a while. Edited February 9, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
February 9, 200817 yr Member Y&R also has a history of fashion, mostly coming from Lauren, but they could add more. Esp with Amber. Amber & Lauren both were on B&B. I wouldnt mind a fashion magazine or fashion something.
February 9, 200817 yr Member Signy Coleman was a recast Annie Dutton. SHE WAS NO CYNTHIA WATROS!!!!! SHE WAS A MASSIVE FLOP IN THAT ROLE. Signy's signature soap role is Hope Adams on Y&R though. She is the original Hope, she couldn't make the guest spot on Y&R in 2006, so Latham had her friend Beth Tousant fill in for the role.

February 9, 200817 yr Administrator Where is Toups? LOL! I'm sure he wants to hug Peter Brash for the JER love as much as I want to hug him for the Nancy Curlee love. I just got home!! I can't wait to hear what he says about JER!! Sorry I couldn't be home to assist you more, Ryan, but I have no doubt the interview was fantastic.
February 9, 200817 yr Administrator Great interview, Ryan!!! Peter was awesome in answering those questions and he was very easy to talk to. I totally LOVED what he said about Jim Reilly. He understand him the way I do. Jim would "bang the drum" (a Reilly-ism I never heard before!!! YAY!!!) to attract the viewers and then he'll hook you in with other parts of the story. "Banging the drum" - I'm so going to reference to that from now on. LOL Peter taking the blame for the meteor shower - hilarious. He owned up to it. Such an awesome attitude. It's just go to show you that you can TRY to copy Reilly, but in really, you just can't. It's really a shame that Peter and Paula Cwikly got demoted for Dena Higley. They were heading into their own Brady/Dimera feud I would've loved to see what their take on it was. Ryan, I forgot to send you some questions about the Salem Serial Killer!! Damn, maybe next time. And about my profile on Peter Brash - it's hard to be totally accurate especially for writers who worked in the 70's and 80's! Research is hard for those eras. Glad Peter defended me a bit there. LOL Now I know he worked on Ryan's Hope and The Doctors.

One of my 15 or so questions I sent to Ryan started with asking Peter about his start at AW, and Ryan asked the question as I phrased it. I too never knew he worked on The Doctors and Ryan's Hope, but what's interesting he worked for RH at one of the lowest periods of that show's history, when Labine and Mayer were forced out by ABC, he also mentioned RH was where he met JER. If he had stayed at GL for one more year, he would've been able to work WITH BOTH Nancy Curlee and JER, two people he seemed to have a lot of admiration for in the interview.

One of my 15 or so questions I sent to Ryan started with asking Peter about his start at AW, and Ryan asked the question as I phrased it. Now you know not to take my writers profiles as the gospel - there's a ton of info missing. LOL But hey, I try........ I too never knew he worked on The Doctors and Ryan's Hope, but what's interesting he worked for RH at one of the lowest periods of that show's history, when Labine and Mayer were forced out by ABC, he also mentioned RH was where he met JER. Yeah, and how they went to parties - Jim actually WENT TO PARTIES? But he's so recluse. LOL!! If he had stayed at GL for one more year, he would've been able to work WITH BOTH Nancy Curlee and JER, two people he seemed to have a lot of admiration for in the interview. Peter Brash: "It's like you wind him up and he'll talk about stories and you think, 'Is that like next week?'....'Oh no no....that's six months from now and then a year after that we'll do this,' he's amazing." :D That's sooooo Jim. I'm glad Peter told us about that little tibit on Reilly. *sigh* I would DO ANYTHING.....ANYTHING just to talk soap opears with Jim Reilly.
