What happened to the Wuhrer case? Was a ruling made?

Yeah I was wondering about that too. I don't remember hearing anything more.

From February 3, 2005 through November 2005 Wuhrer joined the cast of the soap opera General Hospital as FBI Agent Reese Marshall, the former love interest of mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and former best friend/rival of main character, Carly Corinthos , played by Jennifer Bransford. Wuhrer's character died after suffering some minor injuries in a train wreck. In January 2006, Wuhrer announced that she was suing General Hospital, claiming that she was fired because of her pregnancy. Wuhrer plans to support her claim using testimony from another former actress on General Hospital, Lesli Kay, who claims she was fired for the same reason. The case was dismissed in December 2006.

When Robin Christopher(Skye,GH) was pregnant in 2004 her pregnancy wasn't written and when she came back from maternity it was awhile before she got a storyline again.When Ms. Christopher was pregnant in 2006,they made Skye pregnant with Lorenzo Alcazar's baby who is now Lila Rae.Rebecca Hearbst( Liz,GH) came back from her last maternity leave with almost no storyline for awhile and she's on quite a bit now.On Days,they didn't write either of Kristian Alfonso's or Alison's Sweeney's pregnancies in.But on Passions,they both wrote in MacKenzie Westmore's and Lindsay Hartley's pregnancies into the storyline even though it appear to be written in close to the time both actresses were going on maternity leave.But on ATWT,they did write in Martha Byrnes' pregnancies in 2002 & 2006 resulting both Natalie and Ethan Snyder being born.I guess the writers want to keep the Snyder family intact as long ATWT is on the air because they are not reproducing many Hugheses or Stewarts even though I like the Snyders.

Actually all three of Martha Byrne pregnancies of been written in, the first being Faith/Hope back in 1998.

Both of Melody Thomas Scott's pregnancies were written into Y&R. Years: 1982 & 1988. She's lunky she wasn't fired from the show.

And why would she? Her husband Ed Scott was the Executive Producer! Eileen Davidson's 2003 pregnancy was also written into Y&R, although Ashley lost the baby. Tracey Bregman's 1991 pregnancy was written in as well.

The same "reason" why a few GH thespians left after announcing their pregnancies/giving birth. Scott did have people above him, after all.

I think when Victoria Rowell was pregnant with her second child, Jasper Marsalis, William J. Bell wrote her pregnancy into the show. Lily Winters was born in 1995.
