Members Pine Charles
A little off-topic, but looking at the year-by-year chart they have..... It says 16 million watched Luke & Laura's wedding, but I always heard it was around 30 million. Maybe 30 million watched some of the episode and 16 million watched it all..... ? Members RogerNewcomb
Robin Strasser is the only one in the article who truly gets it. Maybe Logan to a degree. It all starts with the writing and respecting your audience. You can make soaps available in a million other formats, but if they are garbage, no one will care. Administrator Toups Posted September 14, 2007 Administrator Share Posted September 14, 2007 I think it's 30 million for the episode and 16 million for the week.
Members RuAsRuAnAu
I think for the week of November 16-20, 1981, GH was #1 in the Household Rating with 16.0 rating. AMC & OLTL each received a 10.2 HH rating. 11/16 & 11/17 episodes of GH got 30 million viewers as Luke & Laura tied the knot.
Members RuAsRuAnAu
How do you save the soaps? By not following this... NBC DAYTIME GOES CASTING ABOUT Brush up your Shakespeare! NBC Daytime is embarking on a nationwide talent search for its upcoming soap created by former Days of Our Lives head writer James E. Reilly. Those who audition could also land a job on NBC's current soaps, Sunset [beach], Days, and [Another World]. Applicants should be "attractive, dynamic and physically fit." The search begins in late June in Miami and continues throughout the summer with stops in Dallas, San Diego, Chicago and Philadelphia. Wannabe stars should consult their local NBC affiliates for more information. Source: http://members.aol.com/lizard1568/index3.html
