Wow - yeah that is NOT America's real body. That's almost sad, considering Ugly Betty, America, Selma, et al are really gung-ho with their creation teaching real beauty and not fake Hollywood beauty.

The cover totally undoes the whole message that the show sends to curvy girls, that they can be successful and have it all just like the waifs.

Disgusting editing, IMO.

I get this magazine, and believe me once they change over to a new cover, folks will be writing in to comment on how they have America on the magazine.

It's nothing wrong with being curvy...but in an industry that claims that they appreciate it, they still focus on the beautiful and skinnier versions of folks.

I remember they did this mess (not Glamour) to Oprah, putting her head on Anne Margaret's body on TV Guide, shortly after she lost some weight....I guess she wasn't 'too skinny' for them.

Glamour didn't seem to have a problem featuring Queen Latifah on their cover some years back; as well as depicting her curvy figure on the cover last month as well (although she was featured with two other actresses to represent the Hot 20's, 30's and 40's).
