I only caught the last 20 minutes of today's show. It sounds like I missed another winner. :(

Loved the scenes I saw between Sami, Marlena and Hope. It sounded like the three ladies had a lot of fun with those scenes. It got funny when John arrived and acted like he was so invested in the stories. It seemed like real friends gathere around, just talking to each other. That is what I am liking about this show lately. Not everything is all about action. There are episodes that only involve people talking. That adds realism to the show. And it's what soap operas used to be about back in the 50s and 60s.

I loved Hope and Marlena listening to the letter being read (and I just can't enjoy Sami - I can't bring myself to do it). It's sad that two of the most popular ladies in Daytime are being used as props to Sami, EJ, Colleen and Santo, but I love seeing them together. And John's arrival was adorable. Loved how Deidre played that, and I love how natural the DHs and KA seem as friends in scenes. They feel like they've been buds for the long time that J&M and Hope have, which is actually rare. I just love how Marlena keeps having John close because that's realistic after being kept away from him for months, and her need to make sure that he's alright.
