Jay's as good as gone in 2008. He agreed to come back because he was promised that Phillip would have this big story, and they'd be diving into his psyche, explaining his actions as a bad boy. Well, he's certainly a bad boy -- an annoying one at that -- but he's been nothing more than a prop in the "Shelle" story. I bet he regrets coming back already and is just counting the days for January. He should've known better! Anyway, he sucks... I can't wait for January, either. :)

LOL, yeah. What happened to Philip becoming the "New Victor," as touted by Hogie.

He writes SOMETHING! In the last year, Maggie's been on more than she has in the past 4 years. Thanks!

I will give you that. I like seeing Maggie being used, even if she is a sounding board for the youngins.

They should have her set-up shop in Alice's house, and bring back Sarah as someone in the Sami/Lucas/EJ age set.

I defintitely agree. I think now would be a great time to bring back Sarah. She's a Horton and she'd be in the late 20s/early 30s age group, which Hogan tends to write for.

The main things is, outside of Frances Reid, Suzanne's been the most loyal cast member that Days has ever had. Unlike Reid, however, she's not too old and is in relatively good health, yet they refuse to write Maggie a story of her own. I hardly call seeing her an average of 8 times a month, in very short scenes, commendable. The woman's been there too long to be treated like this.

The hourglass being empty is not Hogan's fault. He has plans for his characters. Everything falls into place. Fans just need to let it happen without bitching.

LMAO! Are you trying to be funny or something? 5 months isn't enough time to make a judgement on whether or not he's a bust?

Personally, I knew it would be a disaster before he even returned. In the five months since, he's just proved me right on a daily basis.

You'll be happy to know that I've enjoyed Willow in the last two episodes, though. In the scenes with Hope, and in today's scenes with Nick. Pressing her kiss against the window and telling him to catch it? Adorable! LoL

Once again, I will say it. In the last year, Suzanne Rogers has been on this show more than she has in the past 4 years. Hell, I'd say 5 years. When's the last time this woman has had her own story? 1989??? Please! Don't blame Hogan for her not getting a story. At least she's on screen and I'm sure Suzanne is perfectly fine with that.

Being there more yeah! But I just don't consider that writing for her! Different folks...different strokes!

5 months is hardly enough time to build a character. This is not JER's days where things were painted on the screen before the character was developed. Excuse Hogan for trying to write a character and not plots.

Screw Sarah! She might be a Horton, but she'd still be a newbie. We have plenty of newbies already. If they want to bring back a Horton, bring back Mike, Laura and a recast Jennifer. Yes, I said it... recast Jennifer. Or better yet, bring back Nicole and reveal that she has Horton blood. Then again, it'd be pointless to bring back any of those characters unless there are plans for long-term frontburner stories. I'm sure Hogan could think of something! :)

Please! I've watched this show for more than a decade -- I've earned the right to bitch! LoL

I do believe that Hogan has plans for the majority of his characters, but the 'getting there' part should be just as entertaining as the ride itself, damn it. With a little effort, it's possible.

Actually, she was featured quite prominently during the serial killer storyline.
