He's a teenager, and EJ offered him $200. I would do it too. I think the actor playing Will is doing a good job today. Loved when he said my dad was right you are a sick perv. I think EJ is messing up though. Will might be able to help the police out later on.

When Hogan came to Salem and brainwashed the men in Salem, including the Salem PD.

Ah, it's nice to see Kristian Alfonso today. And we got the eyebrow! :D When's the last time we saw that? So nice to have Hope back.

Again, small ensemble, but great episode.

Well, it was nice to see that both Bo and Hope were using their brains today. It seems like they should be able to find the cameras though. Gabby is so going to kidnap Claire from shawn/belle. She is going to be psycho. I liked the show today. If every week we could get Bo/Hope, Steve/Kayla, and soon John/Marlena along with the rest of the characters, this show can be great.

I just remembered that when you brought it up. Great use of history by Hogan  . Those scenes were funny though. Gerse was ok today for once. I buy him as a computer geek and the snarkiness was great. I like how Will thought EJ was watching dirty movies  .

This week has been great. This month has been great. Today was another good one.

I love the character interactions we are getting. Hope/Kayla was great. I miss their scenes and I like them both threatening EJ. Nothing like seeing a fiery Kayla and Hope together. Loved the eyebrow and I kept wishing that one of them would smack EJ. I like that people aren't backing down to EJ now.

Bo/Steve was good and that brief Hope/Steve moment where he called her "sweet thing" was nice. Good to see Bo and Hope together and I liked them figuring things out that quickly.

Steve/Kayla was nice too and I am glad they are bringing Stephanie into this. The look on Steve's face when Kayla said she was going to call her was heartbreaking. Good scenes.

Shelle was ok. I am just glad to see some movement. I can just feel that Gabby is going to go psycho and take Claire. The hints are all there.

All around good show. What a difference a little balance and picking up the pace a bit makes. I think it will only get better from here. Tomarrow and Monday seem a bit dull but at least I won't feel like Shelle, Maby, etc are being shoved down our throats since they have been toned down a bit lately with screentime.

I loved today's show. Bo and Steve together in a scene is always a treat, and I also enjoyed Hope and Kayla, especially when they took on EJ. It is so great to have the real Hope back instead of the barely identifiable pod-person Hope we had for much of last year. I actually got a kick out of Will today, he seemed like such a normal teenager with a wonderful snarky attitude. I think he and EJ usually do well in scenes together, maybe because they are actually the same age.

I didn't get Belle today. If my psycho ex had reward posters plastered all over the island with my picture on it, I would want to stay hidden, not go get a new job! I can't believe someone hasn't claimed that reward already. I'm with Shawn on this one. I know he tends to have a chauvenistic attitude towards her and Claire, but this really isn't the time for her to be out in public--or to let Claire out of her sight. Don't trust Gabby with that baby!

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people. Edit to add: The reason this may be impossible to source, and therefore of no use, is because it was not a public statement. She is supposed to have said it at the show, about the show, to colleague/s, one of whom repeated it in public, but that is convoluted to try to track down, so feel free to ignore. I did do some looking & I am not optimistic.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
