We'll never know, will we? LOL. I think if the man had/had a strong ethnic background (hispanic, african-american - i.e. not European), they'd do him the same way they'd do a woman. But, yes contract negotiation "respect" for women definitely is not at the top of ABCD's list of priorities.

That's a tough one. I would say that was the case for Kamar with his last contract talks. He was gone before they could come to an agreement. I heard he ended up taking a pay cut, but on the other hand you have David Fumero who people say they begged him to come back and he has the opportunity to work on other projects.

Good point on David. I'd argue that's not the norm, but again we don't have a big map of actors to pick from on Daytime in general.

What makes David so special? I don't understand his appeal. But it does seem as though the women are given raw deals.

I couldn't tell you. He's nice to look at but he's acting leaves a lot to be desired.

Angela you're right it's not like we have a wide range to look at in Daytime.
