What would be the point of having her as a "Writing Consultant" when her ideas as Head Writer obviously didn't click with most fans???????

It's probably a rubber stamp title. A band-aid to soothe her enormous ego, most likely. Agnes Nixon's supposedly some Executive Consultant Supervisor Vice President of Daytime, or some sh!t like that. It means absolutely nothing.
