I disagree. I think she address the often ignored issue with direct and honest candor. I think she carries herself in a very confident and self-assured manner which garners her “!@#$%^&*]” label. But, I applaud her having the balls to speak her mind, rather than giving the generic “everything is peaches and cream” responses.

But, she seems like the upward and onward type. I wish her success in her future endeavors.

Exactly.

Racist? Psch, please.

She was classy, elegant & unfailingly loyal (without bein patronizing or condescending) with her comments to/about a show that has repeatedly undervalued & underappreciated her star status (and the star quality of her POC co-stars).

VR is angered she didn't get a pre-nom. Despite any spin, she's not really a fan of LML or Christel Khalil.

It's so ridiculous to see Victoria Rowell - a fantastic and beautiful actress, so jealous over a 20 year old.

There's a difference between bein pissed & bein "jealous".

A big one.

And one is also not indicative of the other.

The show won't be the same without Dru. As someone who has only more recently started watching, the Winters were a family I understood immediately, the situations maybe a tad extreme, but the emotions real given the situations. Dru is the character I was most drawn to -- a loyal wife for a number of years watching someone move in on her man, then a woman faced with a nightmare somewhat of her own making.

It didn't matter to me whether the character was black or white: she had tons more appeal and sympathy than Sharon, Phyllis, and Lauren combined. The character was also fun to watch - she wasn't whining, playing dead, but trying to fight for herself, her family , and friends with everything she had.

Dru was a character who pulled me in as an indifferent viewer. Latham is a complete fool for letting Victoria Rowell walk.
