Is it boring? Yes. Comparing him to Tony? Not even close. We saw layers yesterday. He softened so much when Sami started crying. The character is a villain. His being all over the place and invincibility will make it better when he falls.

I like your positivity, yo. But I totally disagree about EJ and the storyline. It's building to a potentially great murder mystery, and that's about it, imho. That's all I need, though- I see no need to keep EJ like they kept Stefano. He was half dead to me when they made him Elvis, anyway.

I really, really hope they bring someone in on the Sami secret. Like Kate or Marlena. That's what I need it to do, if it's not going to be a murder mystery- reconcile some of Sami's other relationships when people find out the truth and help her. If people find out the truth and turn on her as usual, I'ma be mighty pissed.

I agree with you completely. And as for EJ not being like Tony...I'm not sure. Yes, Tony was ridiculous and cartoonish while JER was writing for him but for some reason I was still finding myself glued to DAYS. EJ repels me from DAYS.

Is Jack on recurring? According to TVGuide he is on just for these 2 episodes in NY with Abby. They said he was in talks to be recurring or that recurring was a possibility but that this is his ONLY appearance for now.

Judi Evans also said that she would be working with Matt so this is his only appearance for now. It seems he is going to come and go as story permits.
