Why is Sami acting afraid of EJ? Smai should be scheming of a way to make the rapist pay. It's not just Kate who deserves the venom.

Lumi should team up to take EJ down.

I can only think that Sami is so hurt by what EJ did to her that she believes that there is nothing she can do to him. He was able to make her do something she didn't want to. I think Sami feels defeated by EJ. He was able to get inside her head and he's still there. He's playing mind games with her.

You mean the man who has assaulted, raped, stalked and blackmailed her? Regardless of what happens with Lucas, I would rather Sami be alone for the rest of her life than be tied to that sicko.

Lucas has been ignored and underdeveloped ever since JER left in the late 90s. Despite all his other faults, Lucas was a very decent character in the early years, when he and Sami were nothing more than scheming friends. If the writers would allow Lucas to exist apart from Sami and Kate and have him interact with other people, it would be a big improvement. His small scenes with Belle and Stephanie were refreshing.

I agree. Within the last few years, Lucas has been a bore. The characrer was practically nothing. You barely even got his personality. I think he needs to be developed in order for Lumi to work again.

If Days puts them together it will be the most deploring & socially irresponsible thing thing they could ever do and would be enough to make me vomit. When EJ was just a charming bad boy villian I could see it, but after he raped her there is no way that I ever see Sami with him.

Jack was never portrayed as a sociopathic UBER-villain. He did horrible things but he was not a sadist who got kicks from random acts of cruelty against innocent victims. Unlike EJ, he was capable of remorse for his wrong-doings. He was tormented by what he had done to Kayla for years after the event. EJ, meanwhile, is quite content to throw his crime in Sami's face.

That's right; Jack did rape Kayla. Does the show ever address that?

Jus because Luke and Laura worked doesn't mean that every victim needs to fall in love with her rapist.

Luke and Laura only worked because fans had interest in the character of Luke despite his crime. That same thing is happening with EJ. Even though we know what he's done, we still want him with Sami.
