Members Y&RWorldTurner
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soapnet It's a little paragrah on a wikipedia article, so take it for what it's worth: On March 16, 2006, SOAPnet announced that it had finally acquired the rights to daytime ratings winner The Young And The Restless and began airing it in April — making it the first CBS network soap to air on the network. Guiding Light will be premiering on SOAPnet on June 11, 2007 Somehow, I can't imagine P&G wanting to redistribute one of their soaps . . .
Members mateo22
there was already a thread on this a couple of weeks back and i'm pretty sure we all came to the conclusion the wiki isn't the most reliable source....I highly doubt that this is true. Members KLN
Wikipedia isn't a reliable source of information. People with 'inside' information might post scoopage, but there's also people who can post rumor as fact and just plain lies. You, me... anyone can add anything at anytime. In fact, I just added: "Guiding Light will be premiering on SOAPnet on June 11, 2007, when former co-headwriter James E. Reilly returns to pen the show." ...doubtful, eh? I mean, Guiding Light could turn up on SoapNet. Someone with reliable inside information might know something that we don't. But Wikipedia isn't reliable.
