I remember hearing Kay Alden was going to AMC to consult and Jack Smith to GH. I wonder if JS is actually at OLTL. To me AMC and OLTL have been getting much better this last month, while GH hasn't gotten better at all. To be clear, I'm just speculating.

I thought today was pretty good. Interesting that John doesn't blame Marty for "helping" Spencer. I'm intrigued to see if something developes between them.

Did Spencer get shot today? It sort of looked that way to me.

I enjoyed Margaret, but I didn't feel that I got a satisfactory payoff to the storyline. I would have liked for Blair to rip that [!@#$%^&*] a new one, and why they didn't get to have it out is beyond me. Basically, if you put Kassie Depaiva in a scene with anyone, she makes them look great, and Tari Signor was no slouch to begin with (ducking, because I know most people hate her and think she's a big ham).

I'll protect you from those Margaret haters lol. The scenes with Tari and Kassie in them were always my favorite. I wish we could've just seen a few episodes where they really had it out.

But here are just a few of my thoughts on Friday's episodes:

- I'm really not feeling Starr and Cole. I know many OLTL fans are all about their "young love" but Cole is so irritating. I can't stand watching him. I wish he and his mother would just leave.

- It was nice seeing Vikki trying to calm everyone down :).

- LOVED the Todd/Spencer/Marty stuff. That ending was great.

- Also, when we saw the "mystery person" pouring oil out everywhere I noticed that the music playing was "Margaret music". LOL. It's the music they played almost everytime she was on druing her pregnancy.

*sigh* In a perfect world maybe. lol. But really, I don't remember them using that music for anyone but Margaret. I taped so many Margaret episodes and just to name a few times it was used:

- Margaret freaks Starr out at Craze (first time)

- Margaret holds Ginger at gunpoint

- Margaret sneaks into Craze (second time)

- Margaret goes to slit Starr's throat

- Margaret and Todd at the lake

- Spencer hints to Margaret that he's going to "kill her" while at the warehouse.

- One of her last episodes, in the truck, when Mad Mags comes back out in full force.

How dare the music people give that freaky music to someone else! lol

But, as I continue to think wishfully, was the warehouse burned the same warehouse that Margaret was kept in? If so, then that would definately be motive.

I don't think that it was. The warehouse where Margaret gave birth to Tommy and Todd held Spencer captive, was one that Spencer had rented back before Vincent ever came to town.

That being said, I'm sure it's somewhere in the neighborhood of those belonging to Vincent which burned down.

And damn, Margaret really wreaked a lot of havoc in and around Llanview. Alll those things you mentioned, plus when she killed Mrs. Bigelow, ran over Marcie with her car, locked Blair in a car, and raped Todd.

There wasn't anything Margaret didn't do!

LOL Just for the fun of it, let's break down what she did in each of her little reigns of terror!:

2004 (May-July [i think]):

- Gave away personal information about Kevin to Todd

- Told Blair that she and Todd were having an affair

- Kidnapped Ace

2004 (November-December):

- Stalked Todd and Blair

- Broke into Todd and Blair's house and stole Blair's dress

- Shot Todd in both his legs

- Kidnapped Todd and held him captive in a cabin

- Brought Todd to a doctor and held the doctor at gunpoint

2005 (Jan-April):

- Pushed Mrs. Bigelow out a window, killing her

- Thinking Mrs. Bigelow was alive, tried to murder her in a hospital

- Held Blair and Dorian at gunpoint in the hospital

- Hit Marcie with her car

- Locked Blair in the trunk of a car

- Raped Todd

- Freaked out at Todd for "not getting her pregnant"

- Tried to blow up Todd

- Tied Blair up and tried to have her smashed up while in the trunk of the car

2005 (August-September):

- Demanded that Asa help her

- Stabbed Todd with scissors

- Screamed at a doctor for hinting that something may be wrong with her baby

- Held Todd and Kevin at gunpoint to get away

- Held a gang member at gunpoint to steal his hide out

- Slapped Ginger

- Held Ginger at gunpoint

- Stole Ginger's money and bought bullets and knitting with it (lol what a combination!)

- Got the help of Spencer

- Broke into Craze twice

- Tried to slit Starr's throat

- Harassed Todd on the phone and forced him to meet her

- Lied about not being able to swim

- Hit Todd in the head with a piece of wood

- Held Todd at gunpoint (again)

- Threw herself off the boat to make Todd believe that she drowned

(all that and pregnant!!!)

2006 (February-March):

- Gave birth to a child of two rapists

- Tried to Blackmail Spencer

2006 (April-June):

- Amnesia

- Had David arrested

- Got into a fight with John

- Ran away from Natalie

- Tried to get John and Natalie arrested twice (with the help of David)

- Was arrested

- Tried to trick Spencer into admitting what he did

- Was sent to a mental facility

- Got her memory back and resumed her crazy behavior

- Declared that she would find TJ, get Todd back, and make Spencer pay

- Haunted Blair one last time

Wow...such sweet memories :)

Awww..memories!

Call me crazy, but I like a good physco...and Margaret is as good as they come.

In your list, you left out her killing Mrs. Bigelow...

Spencer's gonna go all crazy too...but I don't think he can even hold a candle to Margaret.

You're right about that! In my book, no one can add up to Tari Signor's crazy portrayal of Margaret. Both Spencer and PS are wanna-be soap villains. I wish that Margaret could be the one to kill Spencer. One can dream...

Thanks for reminding me about Mrs. Bigelow! I added that and the events that followed lol.

And yeah, I know what you mean about a good psycho. The psychos are actually one of the biggest reasons I love soaps. I love Helena (GH), Jan (DAYS), Janet (AMC), Sheila (YR/BB), and Beth (PSSNS), but my number one is Margaret (Jan is a definate #2).

    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
