There is too much to type it all up word for word, so here are summaries:

Days: John and Marlena Wed!

John proposes in Italy. They come to a beautiful square, he drops to one knee and proposes. He has it all planned, a priest and musicians. Just as the music comes on she says yes and the priest comes out and they wed right there.

Hall talks about how its different for them this time around. Its her, Dee's fantasy that when people have been married before in real life they learn to value the intimacy of the connection. Its a wonderful moment and so, so private because they only have each other to share it with. Its exciting and intense.

Dee talks about how when she heard about Marlena getting married she started thinking about the dress and Richard Bloore told her he was choosing something suitable to go dancing in Italy (side note, its a strapless dark blue dress, John wears a tux). Dee was pleased.

Their bliss is short lived because after they wed, they get a message from a DiMera operative who passes along info that Stefano is dead and Tony is in prison. John is wary so they go to Stefano's crypt. Its a no win situation because they know that even if there are bones in there, it doesn't mean he's dead. Opening the crypt wouldn't give any answers.

But Marlena is determined to stand by her man and goes with him anyway. They are a team. "She's back in her husband's arms. Their lives are wonderful and her dedication is to him. Whether he's in danger or she's in danger, they're in it together."

While I wish family and friends could be there, that has been done before and this sounds simple and very romantic. Then the cherry on top is the adventure in Italy. LOVE It.

Next week and the week after are sounding really good. December is going to be much better it sounds.

How Sweet(ness) It Is! Steve Remembers

At last! Steve's memories - and love for Kayla - come flooding back this week on DOOL. "Kayla hasn't been sure about how much Steve remembers for weeks," says MBE. "So she takes him to this Poconos kind of place where they'd been a long time ago. Kayla thinks if she takes Steve there, she'll be able to figure out how much he knows."

It doesn't go very well, at first. "He says he remembers little things but doesn't feel anything for her," sighs MBE. "Kayla feels like she's been punched in the gut, but she comes to terms with it. She realizes it's better to know the truth. So Kayla asks Steve to do her a favor and be her friend. They shake hands. It's very painful."

But, wait...Before heading home to Salem, Kayla goes to take a bath and compose herself. While she's gone, Steve drifts off to sleep and has a major breakthrough.

"He has this dream, a series of flashbacks of everything that ever happened to him and Kayla," cheers MBE. "He remembers everything and is overwhelmed."

Steve races into the bathroom to share the happy news with Kayla, and...she doesn't believe him.

"Kayla thinks Steve is just saying it because he's afraid she's going to have a relapse," laughs MBE. "She won't allow herself to be hopeful and have her hopes dashed again."

But Steve is determined to convince her that he's not faking it. "There are a nice couple of days of scenes," promises MBE. "Very emotional. Kayla tries to sort through it all and trust Steve enough to believe that it's true."

And then, they finally Patch things up!
