Just wanted to let you know that I have cast Heather Lindell in my new soap blog. She is playing Rachel Martin. She is not a psycho, but she is a b i t c h

Her character is based on Rachel from Another World.

When I was doing the casting, the role of Rachel actually came down to Heather Lindell and Heather L. Olson (both Jans). I just went with Lindell. I felt she had the most talent of the two.

How funny, Steve. When I invisioned AW circe 1968 casting modern day soap actors, I cast Lindell as Rachel Davis Matthews. What do they say about great minds?

Wow. I can't believe that. I cast (but have not announced) Stephanie Gatschet as my Alice. When I first started this, she is who I wanted. I couldn't believe last week when you said that is who you envisioned too. Now this. I guess great minds do think alike.

I am not ready to introduce Steve yet. There are going to be other things that take place in my version before Steve comes on. Kind of own twist on things. I have not cast him yet. If we end up with the same person, I will wonder which one of us is reading the other one's mind and get scared. LOL

How great!!! Heather Lindell was so great. Lord knows how much better she could've been had JER made Jan more redeemable.
