  1. What in the hell is the man supposed to do when these vile, disgusting Republicans won't even bring the jobs bill to a vote. You get tired of hearing what he's supposed to do...when the same people gave W. a pass. "You can't blame it on him. It's Congress fault." Now it turns the other way.

And let's spend our time as Republicans passing bills that curtail a women's right to do anything, voter suppression (Since they're so gung ho aboput winning, why cheat?) banning whatever they don't like and then lying to the American, or as Mitt says, Amercia, people.

And if the Democrats had any semblace of a spine, maybe this crap wouldn't be happening.

  2. The problem with what Booker said is that there is nothing "nauseating" about the Bain Capital ads, there were no lies or distortions in them and Romney uses his business experiences as a reason why he should be elected, that is fair game.

And a lot of people have a problem with it, because no elected Republicans have really stepped out to condemn attacks on the President that are based on personal character, yet Booker offers a defense for Romney on something that can't be defended.

Republicans stepped up the partisanship the minute Obama was elected. Why aren't they expected to stop partisanship?

Bokker ran off at his mouth, got a serious lashing from the campaign, and is now trying to blame the Republicans for what he said. If he still wants to be a surrogate (and get help from the DNC for his re-election) he knows he has to eat crow and take this on the chin. But, maybe this will teach him...don't say dumb crap in front of a mic.

Did Steve King compare immigrants to dogs?

  3. You know, I've asked on two seperate occasions what the presidentcan do while he's in office. Both times I received no response. Which tells me that the ONLY thing Republicans can do is spout garbage, lies and BS, because they have NO SOLUTIONS to what they say ales us today. Not one. Well, not one that doesn't include bringing up Wright (After they and the "liberal" media pushed to hell 4 years ago), calling that man and his family every disgusting name in the book, going after Gay and Lesbian Americans for something that is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS (even though they say they hate big government and wants them to stay out of people's lives), and then this birther crap, because that's the ONLY way they can beat him (Funny. I never heard any other POTUS asked for their birth certificate. Strange).

And, Republicnas can't parade around as honorable. They are, next to some Dems, gigantic liars, cheats amd crooks, who have ripped this country off for over a decade and then get ticked when they're called out on it. The only people they want in that party are rich, crazy white people who will spend more time going after others because they can't stand that they will no longer be in the majority in 20 years.

They whole damn system is corrupt. But I don't hear that. And I will be welcomed to a calm, good disccusion on what BOTH PARTIES can do to come up with solutions. But when one party is being called out with FACTS, I just laugh when the response is, "Well...the Dems do it too, but the "liberal" media is in Obama's hip pocket".

    Really?

  4. Wow, this just backs up and validates everything I have ever said about David Gregory.

I honestly don't know why any democrat goes on his show or thinks of him as being even an ounce more legit than FOX. The guy is a hack and has no business hosting MTP.

I don't understand myself. He becomes this Conservative bully while letting any conservative on MTP say whatever vile, vicous and disgusting lie they want to.

  5. Romney is now grasping at straws trying to make Time artcile about him go away. And, for those who say that the liberal media are pciking on him once again.....was the media so liberal when a film clip of the POTUS started being circulated with him giving thanks to a professor of his, AND THE WAS PAST OFF AS CURRENT?

  6. When the POTUS changes his mind, he flip flops.

When Romney changes his mind (which is every 45 minutes) he's "seeing thing differently".

It's May. the election's in November. I wish I was as clairvoyant as many others who are calling this thing. LOL!

  7. With the garbage that has been said about the Fist Lady, I'm not surprisedn this was made into something huge by the CNM. Only the pundits on MSNBC have called it what it is, and Romney and his wife are now desparetly trying to raise hay out of it. Honestly, IMO, having nannies and babysitters taking care of your chldren is NOT work. Others are doing your job. But, Lord knows a Romney is not one for the unvarnished truth.

Willard should be named a new comic book villian...The Chameleon.

  8. It's just a truth that today's youth do not WANT to see. The last 15 years or so is one of the first time in history that mainstream youth has mimicked the look, mannerisms, and dress of the criminal element. And society has just looked the other way because they are too damn scared that someone is going to call them a racist, and it's having tragic outcomes for these kids. When I was growing up, young people did not aspire to emulate the criminal element. And like it or not, the criminal element has always had a certain look... soemtimes it's accurate, sometimes not, but it EXISTS..But kids did not strive to look like that. Here's the look of the Pimp from that time:

    Willie2.jpg

And now look at these kids, are any of these kids dressed like that?

you want to talk smacking of negativity, 95 percent of the entire rap/ hip hop culture is compeltely BASED on negativity and misogyny.

And you keep talking about it. I'm done. I've said what i wanted to say.

    Now moving on...

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/25/arlen-specter-gop-women-life-among-the-cannibals_n_1378308.html

And I heard once again matthew Doud on This Week say there is no "War On Women" in the GOP. Wonder what makes him say this other than party politics?

  9. To answer your question:

    http://weblogs.balti...police_was.html

And once again, nobody it's saying the clothes are compeltely at fault, it's a contirbuting factor. So many things are contributing factors to this problem, and many of the older generation are sick and tired of seeing everything they worked and marched, and sometimes DIED for slip through their fingers because the young kid want to act like punks, and if they are good kids, they still want to LOOK like punks. I ain't the only one who thinks this:

And the artcile does say that the weapon he was holding was a pellet gun. Trayvon was holding A BAG OF SKITTLES. And I, as many other black men, have been told since we can remember that ANYTHING we do will be looked upon in a negative light. I'm sorry, but your comment will continue to smack of negativity and ignorance to me. We will contnue to see it differently.

  10. So what this tells me is, noatter what kind of education I have have (which can't be judged by my attire) no matter where I'm going or coming from (which shouldn't be judged by my attire) no matter how I speak(which shouldn't be judged by my attire), no matter what, the statement meant to my came in this fashion....

I'm walkinmg where I shouldn't be and dressed the way i shouldn't dress because of the color of my skin.

    Truly offensive to me.

And i'm sorry but when was the last time a white person dressed as a punk rocker been shot and killed because of the clothing they are wearing?

Millions upon millions of people of color are really sick of being told this garbage. I know I am. Instead of judging with your eyes or your close mindedness, while not judge by actually getting to know someone? An inncocent kid was cut down, and statements like these make it sound like it's either his fault or his parents fault.

    That is truly unfortunate.

  11. I heard he had called the police several times on people (mostly black men) in recent months. I heard one report on the news that he called the police on a black seven year old boy, because the seven year old looked suspicious. rolleyes.gif This man needs to be arrested. I agree with Eric83 that not all black youth wear sagging pants, and I don't think there's anything wrong with hoodies. Plus I heard it was raining that night, and if so, it makes even more sense that Trayvon was wearing a hoodie.

I am glad that this case is getting national attention, this type of stuff has got to stop. I actually think that one of the reasons why it is getting so much attention is because Trayvon doesn't look like a "thug" or "criminal" or any or other bad stereotype that some people like to put black people into. He looks like an innocent looking baby faced teenager and that resonates with a lot of people including people that aren't black. His parents seem like decent people too. This doesn't seem like a child that was a bad person or came from a rough background.

He looks like he could be a lot of people's child, brother, nephew, cousin, child's best friend etc. It even reminds a lot of non black people of their own kids. Kids who like things like Skittles and Ice-T. I've seen multiple white people say he reminds them of their own children. It's not just black people that feel that way about him.

I think that this is one of the biggest reasons why this case is getting so much attention. You can't go around killing teens for being black (and/or even if you take race out of it), for being teens. And because you think someone looks suspicious. Lots of teens (and adults) wear hoodies not just black ones.

I don't think that Geraldo should have said what he said. He should have known he would go under fire for that. Newt just needs to hush, trying to create a problem with Obama's comments about Trayvon where there isn't one. Also I actually think that if President Obama had a son he might would have looked like Trayvon. IMO, Trayvon's skin tone does kind of look like Michelle's and Sasha's and his ears are similar to the presidents. And the structure of his cheeks kind of resembles some of the first family members. With the side by side pictures of the two, yes I actually could see Obama having a son that looks like that. But nonetheless Newt's comments about Obama's were ridiculous and unneccessary.

I don't know what will end up happening to George Zimmerman, but I think he will end up paying for this somehow. Even if he doesn't end up getting convicted. At least this case shines light on big problems that needs to be dealt with like the profiling/stereotyping of certain racial groups in this country.)

You know, i still remember the local news here in STL saying that every time a black man was shot and killed "The police feel that the shooting was drug releated." Never said that any other time but when a black man was involved in ANY CRIME.

  12. IT was a series of events that contributed to this.

1: Gated community too cheap to hire TRAINED PROFESSIONAL security (so some nut was out doing it)

2: 911 operator "mealy mouthing" around. Saying "We don't need you to do that". She should have given Zimmerman a COMMAND "Do NOT pursue him".

3: The victim walks though a rich neighborhood where people are unfamiliar with him, dressed like a crack dealer (And you all know it) .

Yes...the kid should be able to wear what he wants, and not get shot. That goes without saying. I should be able to walk down main street in a small town in Mississippi wearing a chiffon gown, but would it be wise to do so? It's not the hoodie by itself, it's the combination of the hoodie and pants on the ground that make people suspicious. It may not be right, but it's reality. In the 50's and 60's, long hair and tattoos were looked upon the same way. This is a perfect example how the culture of rap music and thuggery is undermining the civil right movement. And that's why people are being so defensive about it, because they know deep down it's TRUE. People don't denounce it because there is MONEY to be made on it. One thing's for sure, whether you agree with what geraldo said, the man has balls the size of grapefruits for making the statement. Who cares about Geraldo's name? Does Tina Turner have a problem with race because she changed her name from Etta Mae?

So, please explain the "walking through a rich neighborhood dressed like a crack dealer" line. I'm very interested in hearing why you made a truly unfortunate statement such as this. Now he looked like a crack dealer because of what he was wearing? Or was it the color of his skin? Please explain.

  13. Newt is a piece of crap for making political hay of this. BUT....Sorry you guys...Geraldo is exactly right in what he said recently. For 15 years now, youth have been dressing like criminals because they think it's "cool". and furthermore, you can probably bet this boy had his pants on the ground, so walking around with your hand in the waistband to hold them up, some people are gonna think your'e going for a gun. you absolutely SHOULD only be judged on your actions, but a person don't need to tempt fate, either. It's not his or his parents' fault as much as it is the fault of society and black culture for not rejecting the concept of children being allowed to dress like criminals, and have it be accepted. And Al sharpton wasn't being generous coming down there when his mother just died... he was wantin to be in front of the TV cameras. Jesse Jackson could have handled that rally. Don't get me wrong, Zimmerman was obviously wrong from what i've heard so far. But I don't believe in doing, saying, and wearing things that will set off unstable people.

There are some Tweets that really express many people's feelings on how sorry it was to execute a 17-year-old kid because of what he's wearing. Justin Bieber wears a hoody...seems he has avoided getting executed by sonme racist azzwhole hasn't he?
