  1. WTF Anthony Ponzini is "married, but he's still looking for Right Girl." They gave not one single damn in the 60s, did they?

LOL, I know right!? I wonder if that was one of those jokes he had to explain in a later interview. Meanwhile, Niki Flacks is still single.

  2. Peter de Anda, I think Ellen Holly was involved with him IRL, but don't quote me on that. Jack Crowder aka Thalmus Rasula will always be Raj and Dee's daddy to me.

Carole Shelley looks great in that Luna clip, that church hat. And Dorian looks like Queen Latifah meets Mondrian.

  3. I'd love to see that Merv Griffin episode and hear that album track.

LOL, that remark about the gangly girls in high school still looking gangly no matter how far they've come is kinda bitchy. Was Susan a Mean Girl? Well, she did say in an interview that she was haughty and self-centered in her youth.

  4. I was wondering the same thing about Mark's finger.

I remember Robin talking about Andrea's bichons on her Hotline wishing she could bring in her own dogs like in the old days before the rules changed.

There is so much denim going on!

  5. Gotcha!

That is one of the more flattering pics of Laura. She looks like Jessica Tuck there. That pic of them all bundled up in the bed is a hoot, the looks on their faces especially dork Cameron and Esta looking like a woman three times her age who'd had some unfortunate work done.

  6. And to think little baby Andreas is in there hearing that crazy eyed man yell at his mommy.

Carl, isn't there a pic of Susan holding the baby on the cover of that issue? I remember seeing it in the grocery store and thinking she had had a baby in real life who was playing Bianca.

  7. I was doing a play in college and our guest director was giving us an opening night prep talk when he relayed an anecdote saying, "While doing a play in Washington, an actor who you all really should know, by the name of Al Freeman, Jr." and in my head I was like, "Oh my GOD, of COURSE I know him..." I later went up to our director and said that I of course knew AFJ and asked if he knew Ellen Holly, and he said that he did indeed, he'd been in a production of The Scottish Play where she'd played Lady M.... I swear to you, stuff like that for me is like Deniro and Streep for others...

  8. I'd never watched a full episode of Search For Tomorrow a day in my life, but the first time I watched that clip of Stu ask Jo what she was searching for, I got the church chill bumps, a huge lump in my throat, and my eyes filled with water. This was with absolutely no context of that show. I don't know how I'm going to fare on that fateful day in September.
