Mike Storm's eyes always look so cool in black and white pics. Something I never noticed on the show. Now Andrea's I always noticed but Storm's look like Meg Foster's or brian bloom's in b&w.

Larry Fourdicks is the only one who looks like he could match my 31 years at minimum but as for everyone else... At any rate, to be running a soap opera at that age makes me wonder what the hell am I doing with my life.
Good for them! And Donna Mills gorgeous as ever (and yeah she looks under 30
).

I seem to remember reading that M/W/F were Rachel/Mac/Iris days for the most part and despite their "breaks", the three of them were being worked to death. I know Beverlee McKinsey said she was exhausted then let alone two more years on Texas then her GL run. You'll notice that there's more filler in the 90 min eps like a person tidying up a room or preparing a meal in the kitchen before the dialogue gets rolling. I haven't watched my classic AW stuff in a couple years but is that first 90 min. ep the one where Iris and Vivi have the late night chat? I love that scene. "I *detest* hot milk. Just the thought of it makes me nauseous."

^^Those folks are all under 30?

Ha! And there it is! Forgot about little Jack too. Alex also had a nice portrait hanging above the mantle at Alexandria.

I'm not sure but I don't think so. And they would have had to have done one for Claire Malis first. They could have beat Loving to the Isabelle portrait game and just painted over Nancy's face twice.
I loved the portrait Cassie gave her mother and I was sad that they didn't put it back up. Robin owns it and she actually didn't want them to as she's aged. Do you all remember when Todd bought the house and they had the portrait of him, Blair, and Starr up there?

I don't recall her name but that Jonathan kid totally reminds me of a tomboyish female actress who did a lot of stuff in the '80s. Especially in that oversized suit jacket. Do you all know who I'm talking about?

That's a gorgeous picture of Kathleen Noone, I loved her too R. One of my earlier AMC memories is when Stuart snuck out from behind the secret passage and cracked a vase over her head.
*DEAD* at Little Billy Mack (aka irritating Carl) asking foxes, "What's your sign?"

Carl, you find the BEST stuff! Again, something I thought I'd always have to leave to imagination. Apparently, Dorian threw a big party and unveiled this portrait, replacing the one of Eugenia that had always hung there before. IIRC, Erika said that Viki had been in some accident and was paralyzed and she made her dramatic return at this party, stealing Dorian's thunder as she descended the stairs at Llanfair in a flowing white gown. In the 25th anniversary episode, Viki references "that caricature!" with which Dorian replaced her mother's portrait.

Thanks for the info! A lot of shows did the obnoxious child genius thing in the '80s. Even before Doogie. I agree that she seems like a good Miss Sally. She also reminds me of Marilyn Miglin.

Great find! What would we do without you?
I think I'd resigned myself to never seeing this one. It's too bad the tape cut off the name announce. She did well for what it was. She's dressed very Alexis (ironic future unimplied).
Who the HELL is that creepy ass kid??

Mazel tov Judy! I saw her on stage about ten years ago in Hedda Gabler. Now did Agnes write any of her stuff on OLTL or was Judith just thanking Agnes for OLTL in general when Agnes got that SOD award?

Oh I don't think so I just wanted to share a more recent pic of her. I randomly stumbled upon that pic while Googling something else and always rememered it. They were at an event for American RADA alumni. Too bad Erika wasn't there though if you click on the link you'll see that Peter Francis James from GL is there.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Laurinda Barrett is a noticeably seen extra in Working Girl. The scene where Melanie first attends the cocktail party wearing Sigourney's gear.

"Robin's talking in a funky get-down voice..."
What a great interview. Thanks as always Carl! The way she was talking to the waiter reminded me of the way I heard her talk to a cabbie on the Hotline once.

Thanks, Eric
I'm not even gonna lie...Zarf was a gorgeous woman.
I think the above pic is perhaps the most flattering. I actually saw him at a bar once. It was my friend's birthday party in the theatre district and I believe he was in a show at the time. He gave us that quick famous person glance like, "I'm looking at you to see if you're looking at me because perhaps you know who I am." My other AMC cast member spotting at the time was Colin Egglesfield at the Barnes & Noble (Sports setion) in Lincoln Square one day after work.

I'm not positive but amc was using some clarinet cues a few years ago that sounded very familiar i.e. '80s.

Okay wow I didn't remember that foreshadowing detail of Viki smothering Dorian in the dream. I'm trying to get the time line straight here and I guess this was after they exhumed the body and disovered pillow fibres in his lungs. That must have been before Dorian's trial. At this point David's gotten Dorian off death row with the fake diary and he's been screwing his "sister" Tina for weeks.
I remember a SOD writer saying how she was just waiting for the day when it's revealed that Dorian didn't kill Victor but Viki's other personality Niki did. This was at least a year before the DID story.

Ha, watch little Hayden look down at her mark and then tap C.J. to say his line.

My dog shot up when Lulu started singing. That is pretty darn cute and I love the way she just goes right on back to sleep with a cat's head up her butt.

And remember how she used to call Tea "tea" like the drink? I always wondered if Kristen made that innocent mistake once and it ended up getting written in.

A very young Kristen Alderson...
I always thought she was such an ethnic-looking kid. She had a multi-ethnic skin tone her brother didn't have.
She really was adorable.

I don't think RS is partiularly good at soft and pink moments like when Dorian first discovered *Agatha* was alive. There was something very vulnerable and almost sweet the way Elaine played the shock and fear. RS is very steely in those kinds of moments. She always contends that Dorian is too afraid to be vulnerable as she may unravel like her sisters and she even talked about this on the hotline when she'd heard than EP "cried a lot" as Dorian. Did she really cry all that much?
