I consider it a crime that neither Vicky Wyndham nor Beverlee McKinsey has ever won an Emmy but they did both at least get nods once. They ran against each other, probably split the vote, because Irene Daly won.

Nicole #1 was tall & thin & did cocaine with Jamie, who was writing the novel at that time. Nicole #3, the fashion designer was extremely petite. Of all of Cass's romantic interests, Nicole #3 was the least among them. And, of course, she had the biggest secret, her mother's, and a handgun. This is out of order. I thought that Allen M. Potter ended the story himself by firing Jane Elliot on the spot & that then, in protest, and angry, Doug Marland quit & went to LOVING. Marland with orders to end the story sounds a bit more civilized. How intense was the state of disagreement? And, why oh why would an EP not hear about this DID tale & character & be hot to trot to play it out all the way? What was there not to like?

He was conspicuously in the DiMera mansion during the time period when Abby would have been killed. Gwen asked him to kill Abby. I think his only purpose is to be a suspect.

I think that those of us who who put MdP as a misogynist & as a writer of serial violence have true aim. It is telling that in the 'Frankie Frame Gruesome Murder saga' Jill Phelps whose responsibility it was tried to get the ending changed so Frankie would not be seen killed on camera perhaps instead a soapy "not-death" but Jill's power was waning while MdP's was on the rise. MdP said how it would be.

I believe that the man she was with for many years was taking a run at Hollywood & she decided she would take a stab at it herself. Sure missed her while she was gone! I still have the VCR tapes of her first full week back which included the Fun House Mirrors, Jason Frame's shooting, Stacy Winthrop's the Beast Derek & hair extensions for Felicia. Cass was with Nicole Love. I think to Donna Reginald was just 100% domineering. And, to Marisa he was lord & master & she was brain-washed. In a way Donna & Marisa both were.
