Oh, I think LA is definitely the equal in inherent native acting ability. She's got the chops for more than what they give her & the looks & she can be very nuanced, also. I hate to lose her because I love her being Sami's daughter & I love the twin stuff. When they bicker they are hilarious & when they care about each other they are so sweet. She cracked me up the other day when Johnny went to compare her to Sami & she quick retorted, "You take that back this minute!" I think she was ready to do violence! Challie just had their 6 month anniversary but no one noticed but Challie fans. Oh, yeah, I was gonna say. I know that at the studio they are very taken with Jada & Wendy & Stephanie. And, I wonder if they're not cleaning house of some of particular young adults to give the new ones more room to spread their wings. Harshh world, but such things do happen.

Oh, KA is from Massachusetts & we used to laugh at her accent & also we used to say that she & Lisa Trusel & Missy all talked as fast as they could doing their lines to get their scenes over with FAST because they were terrified!! Lovely memories & they all got much better.

I hope you enjoyed yourself to the max! I'm not sure people know she is leaving but we all think she is because they moved her to recurring last week & it looks like they're gonna break up Challie. Like any day now. They've just moved Lucas to recurring too. Personally I think they're getting rid of both of them as they got rid of Tinker. And, I think they're setting Johnny up for a major triangle with him in the middle of Wendy & Chanel. This could all be wrong.

I have a question that maybe someone could help with. Y'all talking about Rachel killing Janice in self defense on the island remote made me think of it. Mitch Blake came town fall on '79. Mac also married Janice in fall of '79. We found out Mitch was Sam's half brother. Seemingly he was a bad guy & he was a partner of Janice's in nefarious deeds. His purpose was to help her swndle Mac out of money. Okay, cut to being on the island & Mac is very ill. Did Mitch know he was helping murder Mac? Then, all of a sudden, Mitch did a 180 & began to help Rachel. What was his motivation for changing sides? Thanks anyone.

Well, she finally knows. Cam didn't really want to talk about it but Spencer couldn't abide her being in the dark when they are supposedly best friends & roomies. She was entirely startled, maybe even as bad as shocked.

I am really happier with the show than I have been in a year. I found Jan. 20 to be an absolutely stellar day.

I swear I still think it's hilarious!! But, I think they're at a strict disadvantage about remembering. They have all these lines to learn. Okay, I get that. But, then, the other half is that they have to forget that day to make room to memorize the next day! And, apparently they are very good at the forgetting half!🤔🤷‍♀️🤣🤣 Anyway, that's my theory & I'm sticking with it.

Indeed! And, what exactly is out there beyond the rim past overkill?! I don't even have a word for the gigantic amount of unbalanced story they have stacked onto one poor cellphone. Of the men I cannot stand Alex and Leo. Of the women I cannot stand Gwen and Sloan. Stephanie, I used to like if she would just shut up about the phone. Meanwhile I think it's been 8 days since we were in White Space with Charlie's Angels. The show has been out of balance for more than a year I believe, I know it's not a new complaint, but it is bugging me more now.

I'm so tired of CellPhoneGate that I could positively Scream! He turned off the phone. He was wrong. He is so sorry. How many times do we need to hear it?

At NBC they had to turn over the show 36-37 min. long, no wiggle room. With Peacock, they have been delivering the show between 31 min. and 47 min. The people at the studio very much like the flexibility they have now.

Well, we've been having half & half episodes for about 3 weeks. And, the new cameras images began showing last week. Of course, the rooftop slideshow green screen was new & one way to have a new set that doesn't cost traditional dollars, just tech dollars. And, I think the writing has changed in some instances - and for the better. Plus, didn't we seem to have more people at the Li/Gabi wedding? Or did I just imagine that?

This is a change of subject. I do not really have anything to say about that appalling scene. But, for anyone who went to the Locher Room last week on Maureen's death, one scene we did not get to see was the scene with Michelle right after Mo read the letter & broke some china & then Lillian came in & there was that confrontation where Maureen said the famous "suburban joke" line. Good points! And, yes, thank goodness soaps do use their history. Yeah, well, P&G pulled a fast one, in a way. Lemay had not yet signed a contract. They gave him a greenlight so much so that he cast the role & told the actor what would come to pass and, he signed a contract. Then, they withdrew their approval once they had the signed contract. There's the business side of the 'biz. I do think he took his responsibilities to the show just as seriously but as you say, clearly disappointed.

Wasn't that the substitute story that Lemay wrote when P&G reversed themselves on the Michael Randolph gay storyline? Maybe I'm wrong about that. But, if I'm right he would not have been wholly satisfied with what he wrote in the original story's place. And it could go apiece toward explaining a certain insensitivity perhaps.

His hands looked massive wrapped all the way around Leo's neck! Even if they'd had a safeword Leo couldn't get a word out!

Oh, yeah, I couldn't believe his outcome!! Of course, with the Tribunal it was heavy duty guilt or innocence!! And, he is so committed to taking a full college load at the same time that he's working AND he is so appreciative that the show will make that happen for him. Then, I have no idea where he finds time for his band, but he does.

He, Dom, was on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, and, of course, he was very good. Bearded part of the time, not part. He got performer of the week one place & he & Eden both got it one place.

I still like Joss but I am royally chafed at her for her hypocrisy, not to mention lying & cheating. But whoever wrote that confrontation scene, I applaud because they really let William go to town & he has got the chops to run with it!! Joss, I figure at her age she can do some stupid things. But, she pressured Cam to try to get him to still be friends - NO WAY! And, she cried till she saw her tears had no impact & turned them off like a tap. Then she told Carly some "wisdom" about telling the truth when she's been living a lie for at least a month! Of course, Dex, I just don't like so I admit bias. Did you see this crazy picture of Drew in bed with Carly? What's he thinking, AJ? Jason? Me? Or maybe Why can't I wear white after Labor Day?

Plus I was just plain in love with so many of the characters - Mason, Kelly, Bunny, Sonny, Kieth, Gina, Santana, Brandon, Eden, Cruz, Julia, Sophia, Cain, Tory, Augusta, Lionel, Ted, Hayley, Jade, ... Now, to what I came here to post: I was just listening to a YT interview with Justin Deas, who seems to be feeling good, and did you know that he rarely auditioned for roles?!! Betty Rae called him & cast him & she had seen him in something. And, at one show he once did a 90 page monologue?!! It was a stunt! Before his soap career, which he accidentally fell into basically, he mostly did theatre, especially lots & lots of Shakespeare. He was at Juilliard. His family moved a lot when he was growing up. He went to 11 different public schools. I think I went to 12. Made a joke that Deas was Margaret's "alternate" name & told how she hated him when she first met him when they put them together at ATWT. He seemed to think that she thought he was pretty much an idiot. Said he wasn't good at anything & his mother was worried about him & began taking him to plays. He became fascinated at the idea that you could "be somebody else, not yourself." (This reminds me of the recently departed Anne Heche who loved so to act because it was the only way she could not be herself.) At one point his life goal was to appear onstage at the Guthrie. He managed that a long time ago! He was in one show & the Lead told him he was doomed to always be just a Supporting Actor, so he quit. ATWT was just happenstance & completely because of Betty Rea. She told him he was an amazing actor & she spoiled him terribly. You could tell he loved that. Margaret, though, in the same time period, said, Great? No, you're average. That cracks me up! He talked complimentary about Larry Bryggman, Scott Bryce, JFP who he thought brought him on SB and was behind the 90 page thing which started out to have an episode where he as Keith did all of the lines for the whole show. They wouldn't let them do it, though. Fiona Hutchison, Marj Dusay, Ron Raines. Apparently near the end of Marj's life her 4 leading men from GL took turns going to see her. I love that! She was pretty sick for a pretty long time. He said each of his GL leading ladies was fabulous! Marj got onto him because he wouldn't watch the show because he didn't want to see himself. She asked him how he was ever going to improve if he didn't watch himself. That made sense to him & she scored a point! He said he wasn't surprised that GL came to an end because he knew how expensive it was to produce a soap every day compared to, for example, reality programming. He said he always felt like they made a movie every day. (Tony Geary said that about GH!)

I'm watching the 1982 Daytime Emmys & Doug Marland winning for Writing thanked Agnes Nixon, classy, Bob Short & Ed Trach of P&G, so great they were for so long, and then, with some other CBS folks he thanked Brian Frons and I almost fell on the floor! Boy, the time's they been a'changing! Patrick Mulcahey is standing behind Marland. A writer named Nancy something I missed also behind him. Edit: When the EP was up for winning Show he said we won 2 yrs ago & they told us we had no time & now they say we have no time so Doug Marland said it all, when we get up here we are driven to it & we are a family & we are #1. The GL table is going wild!
