Apparently DAYS lost one early season, possibly the second year, to a warehouse fire. AMC & OLTL also suffered losses due to a shared warehouse fire. Apparently 5 early seasons. Just going to say that Mulcahey will be the primary with Korte tasked in a way with assisting him.This works out well because being HW is not something Korte wants but assisting & contributing even collaborating, well that is right up her alley!

So, GH is missing here?

I am one fan who believes that NBC and P&G were in a protracted battle over the show. NBC at various times wanted to kill the show, run it off the air, cancel it, own it, turn it into DAYS Jr., etc. I want to get better ratings than the annual ones that can be found on wikipedia, in Schemering, at AWHP, but with those annual figures we have 72-73 3rd 9.7/33 30 73-74 2nd 9.7/32 30 74-75 2nd 9.7/31 30 75-76 2nd 8.9/30 60 76-77 2nd 9.0/29 60 77-78 2nd 8.6/28 60 78-79 8th 7.5/25 60/90 Mar. 5, 1979 first 90 min. show And, I figure that they fought about the 90 minute show for several months, so I still peg it as the reason the bottom fell out. I have no problem agreeing to disagree. Just a regular thing. Personally I think Finola is both a beautiful woman & a gifted actress & one whom I believe works at her craft. She taught a graduate course in Acting this past year. I have no problem with her hair. (Or Tracy's, Laura's & Genie's) If others do, that's okay, their thing is their thing.

LML = Shock & Awe entered the vocabulary of soap fans! Is it accurate that they now are only shown in 8 foreign countries? Labine/Riche is the sweet spot for GH for me! And we really dodged a bullet with Chris & Dan's last script, that was tossed. But I think they weakened the show. Pace, balance, stakes, pay-off. Peter too long a villain. Willow's leukemia also too long & entirely dependent on dumbing down eventually everyone but initially Willow herself. Babyitis & paternity contagion. Personally I've come to doubt whether they even should have been promoted from within. And, that's not even listing my personal pet peeve which is making up the conclusion as you go along! Liz's family, Hook once right handed, later left-handed, etc. There's nothing wrong with specific constructive criticism! And, I, too am guardedly optimistic. 🤞
