Also, to me, the greatest service to ego would be successfully garnering a nomination, which they failed to do while they still managed to draw attention to themselves. Did leo & Dimitri doing evil to Gwen happen then? Y&R Nikki relapsed again. Jack went to extremes to help. Both Diane & Victor said ENOUGH! Divorce was threatened. Suddenly Ashley has DID. Many amusing alters appear. Connor has OCD. This was a pscyhological year in Genoa City. Phyllis took up for her son when he was accused of murder. GH End of Insider Trading. Someone at DAYS make a huge mistake. Julie is not a lead role. She's been a Supporting Character for going on 50 years. It's not the specific story, it's the role. That's just the way it works. Whether the Emmys are a joke or not is irrelevelant. They are what we have & people are supposed to know how it works. I'm sure his reel was from Stolen Baby Jude.

I am a daily watcher. I am frankly amazed. What in the hell are the members of the Academy thinking? Leo Stark, the bane of the daily watcher's existence & you're telling me he got a nomination?! So, I was thinking about Gwen, which is not something I enjoy doing. But, I hated her so, for what she did to Abby, to Chad, even to Thomas & Charlotte. Then, on top of all of that, which is a lot, killing Laura, who should've been on canvas for many more years. Then, Dimitri enters the picture, all beautiful & all, but he & Leo do Gwen so bad that you had to feel something for her, which I know I resented. It was as if a horrible person got sympathy because two other awful people did her so dirty. And, now I've been reminded of that whole disgusting time.
