It was ridiculous while also being hilarious that Drew claimed that Jason is his evil Twin!!! Of course it's Drew who is the evil one of those two.

I thought they did a good job. They looked good & when they spoke, their enthusiasm was really top notch. I was wondering how many of you noticed the uptick in audience reaction when Mo was introduced? It was a huge reminder to me that even though some of us, online fans, are sick & tired of Mo & Sonny, the audience at large is not where we are. They're still oohing and ahhhing over him. When you could say that we are instead "over him." Very different meaning.

Nostalgia notwithstanding, there were many things that happened on those sets that could only be called embarrassing. Many amusing stories are told about those sets & that very low tech. Those people were making it up as they went. A very similar thing to what we've been discussing. And, a similar result.

Many people have made the case that Liz has always been a supporting player, never a lead. And, they start with when she first showed up in town, & go forward from that. I think L&L2 is very desirable. I don't think it matters if they're not the lead. They can still be as that odd article said, foundational. Whatever that means.

It's such a wrong move, a false note, to proceed, without talking to Jason first! Alexis should've forced a conversation with him before he left for Germany!

On GL Crystal & Robert had an excellent friend vibe. And, both of them, give you all.

At that time he had 2 relatively new grandsons & he was very homesick. Might be different now, also might not. He's a big family man. Well, he has the reputation of being an excellent actor & I think he showed that in his first outing but we need to see more & there's nothing wrong about that. Another way P&G dropped the ball was their convenience store. P&G didn't even provide product. They bought, probably retail, everything their little shop sold. Wheeler was determined to show they could push product within the context of the show.

Well, it is certainly true that a ton of things were OJT, things with audio, things with editing, etc. so you very well may be right that it also applied to sets & their use. Of necessity, they were figuring out probably too much on the fly. Yes, you're right about BTG & why they're in Atlanta. But, I tend to think that most EPs want to have more when it comes to sets, though. I feel like Frank introduces new GH sets almost as a way of showing off that he can.

It's definitely true that some of the sets were just too small. The courtroom set, for example. But, I think it is an assumption that they didn't have a plan. Also I do not think in general that it was excessive. Look at BTG. They have 27 sets.

Carly will not do so. You don't understand the relationship between Carly & Jason. He is not only not her robot, he is not anyone's. Carly & Jason mutually respect each other. She asks him to do things. He asks her to do things. Neither one of them is superior to the other. They are equals. Steve has said that it's not that Jason has to do things for Carly but that he gets to.

I believe that they did adapt the writing to the new format. Not immediately, no, it took them a while but they got there. By the time Jill Lorie Hurst was one of the quad HWs they were there. Both Otalia & Jami had elements of the prior writing but also new writing vistas were opened up. What do you mean here? All she was talking about in their using offices, etc. as sets also was to be able to have more sets available to them, overall. How could having more be wrong? As to whether they were set up to fail, I believe that with the new production model mandated but without the budget to support implementation, yes, in that way they definitely were set up to fail.
