I know what it is now, and I hope that I can describe it to where it makes coherent sense to others who read this post. It's so weird. From the hallway angle, the camera shows the actual picture frame (e.g., art, glass, frame) when actors are approaching Suite 227, but from inside Paulina's suite, the glass (from the picture frame) is covered with that wallpaper. Perhaps this is done to avoid the lighting reflection? Still, it looks funky because the wallpaper they put to cover the glass is not aligned with the rest of it. That's why I felt that area was a little "off". Does that make sense? God, I hope so because that made my head hurt trying to describe it. Since you mentioned the blue, I didn't know if it was my QLED TV or not, but Queen Kristen looked like a Smurf during her brief appearance. Because of this, the blue lighting is more noticeable to me. As far as the actual show these past couple of days, it's stupid as all hell. Shawn is shown leaving with Rafe to head over to the cabin one minute and then he's not shown when Rafe shows up at the cabin. Yes, I saw Ron C.'s tweet about how Brandon Beemer wasn't available to shoot that day, but that's just sloppy. Slop, slop, and then add some more of that slop. Carson Boatman's acting is ridiculous that he ties with Robert Scott Wilson that it's actually funny because he's so over-the-top. It kind of feels the two are in competition with each other or something. But at least they make me laugh. I liked it when ghost Andre was trying to convince Ben to kill Johnny with the necktie. Robert Scott Wilson is such a little drama queen. OMG, dude seriously. For the life of me, I'm still trying to wrap my head around this TR/Abe/Paulina/Lani nonsense. The whole thing was so weird. Abe gets whacked with a baseball bat with a pool of blood all over the floor and Paulina comes and asks TR who was at the door. TR tells Paulina that it was only a group of religious converters and urges Paulina that the two of them should leave for their weekend rendezvous immediately. Then, Paulina sees Abe on the floor covered in blood, and TR's like, "Oh, I can explain! It's nothing, really!" LOL! Wait. What? Then, TR threatens Paulina with his bionic hand and Paulina just stands there and doesn't even bother to move or go back in the kitchen to get a knife to defend herself, lol! Nope. She just stands there. I won't bore you with the rest, but TR's last words with his daughter could have been more emotional over a side plate of French fries with mayonnaise. Then, I don't understand Paulina. Actually, I don't get any of this. Abe, who was covered in blood, is in the hospital and is totally fine from his concussion and notices that Kayla is Chief of Staff again, lol! What else is going on? Satan can't seem to kill people but gets others to do his dirty work and they fail miserably. Steve and Kayla's home looks like John and Marlena's. I'll just stop there. 😃

I thought he was Matthew Ashford in at first, but then I thought he was the guy from Breaking Bad. 😃 Now that I've examined that wall, there's still something weird about it. I guess the part where I thought it looked like warped wood was actually the left side of the picture frame in the hallway. Has anyone noticed the wall behind Abe in the beginning scenes with Mr. Aioli Man and how bad and "untogether" it looks? What do you call wood when it gets wet? Warped? And it looks like they put caulk or something in the corner.

I thought yesterday's episode was just dumb. Not just dumb, but an eyeroll dumb. I never realized how terrible Robert Scott Wilson was until these past couple of episodes, but at least I'm laughing about it. Ben and Ciara making a telepathic contact to reach each other like they did when Ciara was kidnapped the last time (surprise! I remembered that!) GTFOH man with that bullsh!t. Wait, she's kidnapped now by Satan, right? Still, I think Robert Scott Wilson needs to knock back on the doors of The Price Is Right and and model motorcycles or whatever. I know I'm in the minority, but I *heart* Gwyneth and I'm fine with being a small member in this group. After Abby was playing the role of detective in some Murder Mystery Weekend Extravaganza with that cheap H&M dress, Gwyneth had every right (in handcuffs) to knock Abby down a peg or two. I liked Abby at one time, but I don't particularly care for Marci Miller's take on her - especially with that on-going condescending yet superior tone of hers. Sh!t, I dare for someone to talk to me like that to my face. Hahaha! No, but I'll miss Gwyneth. I really want see a good scene with her and Xander and Gwyneth letting Xander HAVE IT! HAVE. IT. Embarrassingly, I've been calling Mr. Mayonnaise with fries TC Coates instead of TR Coates. Honestly, I don't understand Ron C.'s logic. I don't know the man personally. I mean, maybe he does like mayonnaise with his fries. The way these storylines draw out, they are scattered everywhere. To me or any other logical viewer, why should a viewer invest any interest when Storylines are shown two days one week and then they'll reappear two weeks later? Or, is it just me? For example, the last time I saw TR Coates was when the camera showed his bionic surgical implant fist and TR was fighting every urge not to use it on Paulina, lol! Next, you see Beth in Eli's hospital room wanting to talk about an important matter to Lani and Julie. Next, Mr. Mayonnaise with fries warns Beth. A week and a half later, Beth is now bruised up with a swollen face???? Not that physical abuse is a laughing matter, but I guess this happened in private too? All these things seem to happen in private. So, if these occurrences happen in private, then why should viewers care? What's even more stupid is that Beth and her dumb ass (after she was beaten up) wants to finish playing Celeste in the movie? Movie? What movie? Seriously. What movie? So, yeah. I'm still watching and making fun of it. I want to see more telepathic powers between two star-crossed lovers for their love is so deep and gives me hope! I want to see more of TR Coates and his bionic fist! I want to see Satan get his spawn and see how he chooses to raise it in a world of overpopulation. I want to see Gwyneth knock all of Abigail's teeth and shove them all down her throat. 🥰

YES!!!! I love this clip! Cynthia saw my post on Facebook back in either 2013 or 2014. I was going through finals and I was acting completely neurotic that day as I had spent so much time prepping for my studies. So, I posted that clip and she sent me a private message with a wink emoticon, lol! THAT made my day and my exams went smooth sailing after that. Oh, my sweet little Annie Dutton always bringing cheer in my life. 🥰

I was going to discuss earlier this morning, but since I couldn't find the thread, I thought maybe it was scheduled to be posted at a certain time. I used to do stuff like that on social media although Hoot Suite is much easier. Bear in mind it was really early in the morning and my thought processes are kind of here and there. Then after my cup of coffee, I realized this message board has no such feature. 😁 I don't think I've ever told anyone that they were bad in bed. Then again, maybe I have. I have told someone that they were a bad kisser. Hey, if kissing ever feels to you like you're kissing a wet soggy roll of toilet paper, then it's to speak up and let your voice be heard. As far as yesterday's episode, I watched it sort of. How many people knew that Allie was possessed on Friday? Johnny, Ben, Susan, E.J., and who else? Monday, it seemed like 25 people knew about it. Yet, there was no build up. Oh, I see now. Are they having these conversations in private again?

Well, the acting and the credit opening was just .... I really don't know what to say about it. It was something I can tell you that much.

That's an interesting read and so juicy! I am reading about the drama with the Dobsons and Charles Pratt Jr. on Wikipedia although it does make me feel kind of weird reading stuff on the website as it was always frowned upon by my professors. 😄 But thankfully, I no longer have to write papers and credit the source. Interesting about the NBC affiliates and their refusals to carry SB. For me, I was a kid and drama like this I would have loved to have known about. I would switch over and watch SB when GL was pre-empted as I knew about Cruz and Eden's popularity. Isn't SB the show where Paul Rauch smashed a cigar on the floor with his shoe for the last finale? All in all, what terrible mistreatment.

Oh, I know! I remember Santa Barbara was always winning SOD awards like hell too. Then, I saw their ratings after picking up my first Soap Opera Digest and I was like .... 😕 I only remember my two favorite vixens on Sunset Beach: Annie Douglas and Virginia Harrison played by Sarah Buxton and Dominique Jennings. OMG Virginia was terrible.
