Again, I would just want her to be on the canvas for her reaction to Phillip's return and being a sound board for her boys, who are reeling with the fact that both their fathers caused Ross' demise. All these what if scenarios just saddens me b/c it just shows how this show didn't need all that flash to restore itself to greatness. All GL (and ATWT too) needed was to rest on their rich history and character connections to bounce back. Sucks that the sh-tty writers, producers, network, and P&G didn't see that.

I think that had Harley been recast and not spending all her time whimpering over Gus, it could've worked. Plus, if the town was going to be coming for Phillip (and Rick by default), it would've been interesting to see how Zach and Jude would be affected by it all. Ooo... and Amanda coming back with Alan Michael would've been juicy. All the Spauldings under one manor backstabbing one another to gain control of Spaulding would've been great. Seeing as they missed the opportunity to bring back Alan's child with Rita (with Gus), it would be interesting to see his other spawn pop up and throw a wrench in things.

Vicki leaving the OC might breathe new life into the show. If they are gonna scrap Vicki, I say go all out and get rid of a huge portion of the cast too. Start fresh. It might be the thing that saves this show. If only this same production company would do the same to their other housewife show, BH...😏

Was the cancellation of the show prior to Phillip returning? I thought it was slightly after his return. Phillip should've gotten a medal for ridding us of Grady. I agree though that the dummy going over the cliff was hilarious and horrendous. I know the show has a shoestring budget but they could've filmed that so much better. See I wanted crazed Phillip to be addressed b/c I wanted to see the fallout upon his return. As I've said before, I would've loved for Leah to give her godfather grief for ruining her parent's marriage. I would've loved for Dinah and Blake's kids to wreak havoc on Phillip's life too. It would've been interesting (too) to see Blake revert to early Blake and hop on the train destroy Phillip. While Phillip's exit was trash, his return would've at least provided tons of story if written correctly. And we're only scratching the surface as we haven't factored. in Harley and her kids, who I wanted to be recast after Beth Ehlers left chasing behind RPG on AMC.

Can I just say that GL totally dropped the ball with Mel upon Phillip's return... Mel and Leah should've given Phillip so much grief as he blew up their world due to his antics. It always struck a nerve with me that his feet wasn't held to the fire upon his return.

But they did eventually recast Ed with Bob Gentry reprising and they should've possibly kept him. Was Mart Hulswit still acting the time? If so, they should've brought him back to play Ed after Robert didn't work out. In regard to Rick, they stayed flopping and missing opportunities with the character in later years. Even after Abby/Rick got blown to shreds, do you think that Mel/Rick could've possible taken that role too? At least I did.

While Simon's Ed is my Ed., I do agree with this statement. I was just rewatching the Julie/Hart/Dylan/Bridget climax and how Ed scolded Bridget made me want to jump through the screen. He was so sanctimonious and smug while wagging his hypocritical finger at Bridget for calling out Julie for sleeping around. It irks my soul that the writers didn't have Bridget rip Ed a new one in that scene.

Oh I saw that drivel online. Here's my one thing though, if Dollar Tree Kary does not hold her feet to the fire like she did Leeanne, we (the fans) are gonna light her ass on fire. Brandi's already been saying that all the women (minus Lee and Kam) have been supportive about her going to a "spa" to fix herself. 😏 This is why I am firm that they should've fired everyone but Kam.

Sorry but Danielle should've snatched Marge bald after tossing a drink on her again. Toss drinks, get beat. Marge is really starting to "smell herself" (as we say in the South) lately. She's letting this show get to her head. Honestly, despite Danielle being a train wreck, these women came off nasty tonight. When will these women learn that gang mentality does NOT bode well with the audience? Moving on to Dallas, I have NEVER seen a housewife crash and burn like Leeanne. Mariah is stating fact. It is public record that she and Lake fought. It isn't made up. Lake states her own opinion on the matter in Mariah's review video. Also, Mariah drops a nugget in this video that production tried bringing the affair to light back in s2, but Lake filed a cease and desist against production to prevent it coming out. Quad better thank Lake for preventing her ass from being exposed back then. In regard to the reunion, I am so glad that Jackie is exposed. She is a sh-tty human being and friend to Simone. How she can be friends with Heavenly aka Pressure Wash just boggles my mind. Heavenly is utterly vile. I cannot wait for Simone to expose her and Damon next week. And Contessa constantly inserting her irrelevant ass in matters...😒

Nene's ass is gonna end up getting fired this year. With LVP leaving BH, Bethenny leaving NY, and Vicki getting demoted on OC, Nene better start treading lightly. Just because you are the 'face' of a show does not mean you are safe. And in Nene's case, it has been proven that ATL is just fine without her. Season 8 and especially season 9 had strong ratings.

Kelly letting Tamra off the hook p*ssed me off. This is why Gretchen, Alexis, and Lizzie are needed for this show. They are the only women in the history of this show to truly hold Tamra's feet to the fire.

I'm with that with all UK soaps. They are all going through this funk that I just don't care to watch anymore. I still do read up as to what is going on but none of them seem to spark my interest anymore. With ED, I started to tune out of the show after Ashley died. The show is just too Aaron/Dingle driven for me, and I like a few of the Dingles; however, I can't stand a show that focuses on one--the one that isn't the central family. With Corrie, I've had the worst reconnection with. My biggest gripe with them is that they always lose the interesting characters while keeping the deadweight. And I reconsidered watch EE again when Mel returned, but one episode in, I knew it was gonna be some mess and it ended up being just as expected. I also can't bear to watch Bobby's sins be washed over and for Phil to be made a victim (for the 1000th time) b/c a woman did something outside the relationship.

Is this supposed to repair Ian and Bobby b/c if so, I don't see it happening. EE still has a sour taste in my mouth post having Bobby kill Lucy. I still get pissed thinking about all the story potential Lucy could've had with Hetti Bywater still playing her.

Lizzie was phenomenal. She was pretty, intelligent, and honest. Plus, she is one of the few that took Tamra to task. S9 of the OC is their BEST season IMO. The Bali trip where Tamra got exposed was must see TV. It always pissed me off how Bravo didn't want to bring Lizzie back the following season b/c Tamra pulled strings with production to sabotage her return. The only offered her a 'friend' position and iced her out 99% of the season despite having filmed most of it.

Camille has called Rinna out! SMH. I don't think Leeanne is racist but she is ignorant as [!@#$%^&*] for her comments towards Kary. I've said it before but I believe Leeanne said that [!@#$%^&*] to be controversial and hope it'd trend (ratings-wise), but the [!@#$%^&*] backfired. Now she looks horrible to the audience and her job is at risk. I hope Leeanne just sat her ass there and atoned for her sins. She better not try and put up a damn fight or come with excuses or Bravo can fire her ass. Also, if Leeanne is fired, D'Andra and Kary can go too as they've ruined this show too with their plots and schemes. This show had all the potential like Potomac and blew it.
