  1. The Luann gif is the prime example of why NYC will always be a cut above the rest.
  2. Ugh, they should just let it die.
  3. Agree with everything except that Charisse should have been a HW this season. Nah, let that heifer stay pressed as a FOH. She's a conduit for drama, but she brings nothing to the table herself. I too could not believe the gall of Robyn who has openly antagonized Karen and Ray's tax situation each and every episode. She talks so much crap about Karen I can't imagine why she'd even want Karen there except that she knows Karen lends credibility and sparkle to any event she shows up to. Ashley and Michael are uncomfortable. She is playing a dangerous game and Michael isn't the one to play against. He is very sharp and shrewd. He was very quick to break the fourth wall and tell her she shouldn't be using cameras to negotiate. Gizelle continues to be awful. Run, Sherman, run.
  4. Just saw Kathy Griffin live (3.5 hours without an intermission!) and she said that *allegedly* every single one of the “tweets” Andy puts to the housewives are made up.
  5. I was READY for tonight's episode. I needed it. It had been a long day. It delivered. The fight between Carole and Bethenny is very real and very personal and Bethenny was not ready for Carole to be as unflinching as she's been. Carole is a cold, relatively emotionless person. And that kind of personality is impervious to Bethenny's gaslighting and guilt. Compare Carole to Sonja or Luann, both naturally warm, and you can see how she'd be able to manipulate them. Her use of the word "betrayal" when describing Carole divulging that Bethenny called Luann a loser was interesting. Bethenny reverts to victimization when she's losing an argument. Speaking of Luann: she is great. I'm a Countess fan from the very beginning and her reaction to being called a loser is proof of her self confidence. Even Bethenny once said that Luann is the most resilient woman she's ever met. And we're about to see even more about that in the coming episode...lord...Lu...this Palm Beach disaster is being filmed for absolute maximum impact. Sonja looked absolutely amazing in that sequin dress at the Red Cross blood drive party (what a good idea, Luann!) and I loved when she was sitting on the armrest with the totally normal lady and then talking to Ramona about iron in her stool. Ramona gave me my favourite moment of the night when she didn't back down for one hot second in that telephone call with Bethenny. Ramona *unleashed* and even her very well done Botox couldn't stop her face from contorting into expressions of sheer vengeance.
  6. I feel the sorriest for the incredible Laurie Metcalf. Such a talent. Roseanne deserves her implosion.
  7. That clip was epic. This season of Potomac has been amazing!
  8. Exactly. She will be pleading guilty to a lesser charge (the misdemeanour which is not as serious as a felony), which will avoid jail time. She may do community service and pay a fine and restitution (or any combination of such). It is the correct result in the circumstances. It seems the police are involved in far too many issues that are straightforward civil nuisances. All of this comes to a head on July 25, so fingers crossed for Lu.
  9. And Luann has accepted a plea deal and will be pleading guilty to a misdemeanour charge, in absentia, regarding the incident in Palm Beach. http://cbs12.com/news/local/real-housewives-star-to-plead-guilty-to-lesser-charge
  10. That's Andy for you. Teddi is coming back. Andy confirmed it on Howard Stern.
  11. The truth hurts! Robyn is as dumb as they come. Ashley is just awful with the way she's trashing everyone haphazardly - the reunion should be rough for her. Her mother is ghastly. What a user and a loser. Karen continues to be the queen of this show and command a certain level of decorum that the rest of them cannot muster.
  12. Snap! But true. Another winner from NYC this week. This show delivers and delivers. The devastation in Puerto Rico is shameful. Shame on the US government. Shame on the American media. That the Real Housewives have shown more of the reality the citizens are enduring is outrageous! I love the slow burn of this Bethenny and Carole feud. I can't stand Carole. Or Tinsley.
  13. It certainly is...this version of Dynasty puts Alexis in a scrappier light. She isn't as cunning or as powerful as Joan's Alexis. She is on the make and desperately seeking relevancy and power. Joan's Alexis was far more dangerous and Machiavellian - the ends truly did justify the means. Joan's Alexis was scarier. Nicollette's Alexis is lighter, a bit campier, and she has a conscience that rattles her confidence. Her Alexis knows when she's done "a bad thing"...and so when she leaves Blake and runs up the stairs to where she thinks Cristal is, it's redeeming and just a tiny bit...moving? Joan's her Alexis would have looked towards the stairs, knowing Krystle was locked up in the burning loft thanks to her, and for a moment her eyes would communicate Alexis' thought that maybe she should save her...but then they'd go cold again and she would turn away and save herself. Thanks! It's interesting to analyze what Nicollette is doing/can do with what she's been given. And get onto the Royals - Joan has two great episodes!
  14. Karen is going to slaughter all of her detractors. I'm calling it now.
  15. Potomac Another winner of an episode. Karen is the undisputed star of this damn show and anyone whose going to try to argue otherwise is destined to fail. Karen was hilarious drunk, hilarious when she gathered Robyn up and shredded her, and hilarious when she was screaming trying to balance 4 ft off the ground. And Karen was so remarkably transparent to admit to having a DUI and laying it out for Monique (it fell on deaf ears). Charisse is a tacky pig. Gizelle has that mean streak to her that makes her so ugly to tolerate. Her refusal, in her VT, to apologize to Ray is really foul. She wouldn't dare say that directly to Karen. She knows that would not end well for her. Ashley has loyalty to no one and her habit of embellishing (or as RH of Melbourne's Janet say, 'gilding the lily') really demonstrates that she's there to stir things up and dodge all fallout. Robyn remains an idiot who can't last 3 minutes with Hurricane Karen. Monique and Candiace didn't have a whole lot to do this episode other than calm themselves instead of killing Charisse and Gizelle. Dallas - love what I'm hearing about this coming season. Sounds juicy.
  16. I have enjoyed Nicollette Sheridan, just as I always have in most everything she's been in...but she's not playing Alexis and this isn't Dynasty. Alexis is Joan's and Dynasty belongs to the 1980s. The season finale cliffhanger was well executed technically because it partially redeemed Alexis as she said to Blake "I've done a bad thing..." and then ran to save Cristal while the barn burned. What was odd was Steven's whereabouts in the fire - it didn't make sense for him to just disappear. The fire was very well done - it looked so realistic. I will be interested to see how this cliffhanger resolves. Mission accomplished.
  17. If what Dorinda is saying is true, then I can appreciate her position...HOWEVER...it doesn't change the fact that she doesn't handle alcohol well. Her reaction to Luann's blog, which I found to be quite benign, was nasty and shows she doesn't take responsibility for herself. Luann might have been wise to stay silent but she has also stopped drinking and has acknowledged her problems publicly so Dorinda's nasty response says a lot more about her state of mind than it does Luann.
  18. Lisa Vanderpump's brother has died of a drug overdose at the age of 59: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5722109/Lisa-Vanderpumps-DJ-brother-dead-suspected-drug-overdose-aged-59.html Condolences to Lisa for this loss. 59 is far too young to die. I believe both of Lisa's parents are still living, so this will be a very tough blow for the family as a whole.
  19. Echoing everyone else, I was embarrassed for Dorinda last night. That was an ugly scene for her and demonstrated that she's kidding herself about her drinking. She's probably the worst drunk on the HW franchises aside from Kim Richards. Say what they want about Sonja, but she is a fun drunk and so is Luann (even when she was arrested she called the officer arresting her "my love")...Dorinda is a slurring, maudlin, insensitive mess. She needs to cut way back and control herself or she needs to quit entirely. She doesn't want to take the label of alcoholic - and maybe she isn't one, or maybe she is, but one thing is for certain: her drinking is a problem. Bethenny can be really terrible at times, but she was decent to Dorinda on the plane. Measured, level, and fair. And there's no denying she's doing more for Puerto Rico than the US government. Tinsley and Carole...they're like the B storyline on B&B that nobody cares about. Ramona was on WWHL last night and she's cut her hair and looks amazing! Loved the scene of Luann and Victoria. It's good that Lu has some self awareness, it'll help her with what we know is coming...
  20. Kyle is a whiney baby whose sisters have turned on her as she exploited their history for profit. Period. There is no refuting that is what Kyle has done - especially with that ABC pilot 'Glass Houses' - it sounds like Rick vs Mauricio in wigs and gowns! I absolutely loved when LVP casually threw in that she'd spoken to Kathy Hilton the previous day and what Kathy apparently said sounded reasonable to me. Erika is a worthless bitch. She is totally unnecessary for the show and her contempt at having to be there was palpable. I'm glad LVP stuck up for Teddi. She was right and Erika was dead wrong. Rinna did absolutely nothing this season and this reunion. Zero. Her easiest paycheque ever. I'm not against her not being involved in drama (NYC, my fave franchise, has the most 'fun' and Rinna could certainly bring fun to the franchise if she cared). Dorit is awful, but not as awful as Erika. I wish LVP had just owned that she beheaded Dorit's photos and left it at that. She didn't need to cover it.
  21. This is terrible news. Poor Dame Barbara. Now it makes sense that she wanted to end Peggy when she did. It is heartbreaking that she mouthed "I'm sorry" to her husband when she was diagnosed. God bless them both.
  22. Hopefully Monique slaps the sh*t out of smug ass Robyn. I am here for that!
  23. Potomac killed it, yet again. Candiace earned her spot and destroyed Charisse and Gizelle. The use of the word "geriatric" had Charisse shook because deep down she must know that her time has come and gone, just like her wig. And when she didn't back down to Gizelle you could see Gizelle wavering and wondering what the hell was happening because she's used to being a total bitch and getting away with it. Ashley remains an idiot dealing with that mother of hers. Her mother is a whiner and a user. She says to Ashley she does not want to be a burden back in 2016, yet she won't do any of the work Ashley asks her to do to pull herself together, nor will she get rid of the bum whose living off of Michael's money. Ashley's mother is that kind of perpetual victim, perpetual put upon "martyr"...I can't stand her type. Karen remains hilarious. Even the most insignificant scenes are highlighted by her presence.
  24. She's doing a spread in HELLO! in her new Los Angeles condo, on the eve of her 85th birthday...
  25. Charisse is a charmless turd so it makes absolute sense they demoted her. She is so impressed with herself yet she’s a zero. It’s one of my favourites too because it’s still fun and light for the most part. Pairs beautifully with NYC.
