  1. The only series I watch religiously are ATL and BH and I'm starting to ween from BH. I think all the elements to be a truly great series with their own identity is there but something is still missing. I want to love the show but I find myself averagely liking it. I think either of the Collins sisters would be a great addition for the next season.

My heart be still. There's no way Jackie Collins would be on BH (no husband and she's kept her children and grandchildren totally out of the spotlight)...but Joan...for the right price...she would be sensational. I can only imagine her at the Dinner Party From Hell. She would have literally slapped Camille and DD and Alison. I think she'd get along best with the 3 Winners (Kyle, Lisa and Adrienne), she'd eat Kim for breakfast, dismiss Taylor as the loser she is and loathe Camille with strategic withering put downs.

That said, I just don't see it happening. Joan is 77 going on 78...she has resisted all forms of reality television (and she's been offered big bucks to do a ton of shows) and from what I can gather she's actually busy with work this year (2 movies plus a book).

  2. For anyone interested or bored before their festivities begin, Bravo is showing all the reunion specials from 2010 all day!! Honestly the reunions are sometimes better than the actual shows.

I've been watching all day! Happy New Year everyone!

Like Andy Cohen would say, Mazel!

  3. Faye is kind of trashy. That's why.

People are making wild assumptions over at Television Without Pity:

Yeah, Faye is kind of trashy, without question, but I find that fun and refreshing and bullshit free. She just is who she is and honey, she'll just click/clack in her high heels away from whoever has a problem with her and snap a bejewelled finger at anyone who gets in her way.

    Television Without Pity is hilarious.

  4. Kim is seems so dumb, I just don't know, I feel sad for her, but I think Lisa needs to scare her away from the show.

Lisa was very amused – Adrienne was petrified. She asked about her grandmother! She was just waiting to ask that question the whole evening!

Camille was, of course, very calculated in her choice of guests and intentionally invidet Allison Dubois, everyone can see that. She wanted to make the volcano erupt.

What do you think about Faye Resnick, DaytimeFan? I wasn't pleasantly surprised she is such good friends with Kyle. Why does Camille hate her? Something happened there.

I don't think Lisa was amused, right at the end of the party we saw, for the first time, Lisa crack a little under pressure and lose her cool, just a tiny bit. I know beneath the champagne kisses and caviar dreams, Lisa has fire in her. I didn't think Adrienne was petrified, I think she was disgusted, she's above it all and she knows it.

Camille is evil. I really mean that.

From my first impression of her, I like Faye Resnick. She tells it like it is. She isn't necessarily the epitome of class, but she seems like a fun broad. Why not pleasantly surprised regarding her friendship with Kyle?

Why does Camille hate her? Why does Camille hate everyone? She's a narcissistic pig.

  5. Wow, that Allison Dubois chick was white trash and just a gutter snipe. What's that phrase Melissa Rivers coined? Whore Pit Viper, that's it. That's Allison Dubois.

Camille is so disgusting, ditto her lap dog DD.

Lisa seemed mortified. Adrienne looked more like a mafia wife who was *not* amused.

  6. Oh nice - I can't wait! I don't know much about it, but I did hear that the new girl Kelly is like a disease for the NYC series. I'm surprised to hear that about Ramona after watching Season 1. She seemed like she might be the Danielle/Camille/Michaele of NYC.

Oh no, by the end of Season 3, Ramona is the Mother Teresa of the Real Housewives. She comes off VERY well in comparison to all the rest.

  7. I LOVE Wendy Williams.

Lisa's skincare line, Epione, is surprisingly well formulated. The cream for hyperpigmentation is the gold standard formula wise. The sunscreen is excellent, all mineral protection and slightly tinted. The only problem is that some of the products are packaged in jars! Ugh, I hate how so many great formulas are packaged in jars!

This latest week of ATL: is it just me or is Kandi an annoying bitch?

  8. BH: *High Five Cedric*...oh my God that made me laugh, he's the bomb. Lisa continues her streak of fabulosity: "Under all that dynamite was a two inch fuse". I love Adrienne and Paul's relationship. Kim was far more tolerable this episode. Kyle is gorgeous. Taylor is an evil attention seeking golddigger. Not much of that bitch Camille in this episode, choosing a dress is SO much work.

  9. Am I the only one who doesn't understand why the WikiLeaks thing is such a big deal?

So the USA is spying on everyone? Umm is that a surprise?

So Hillary Clinton ordered DNA collection and phone numbers and contact info for dignitaries on US soil...again, is that a surprise to anyone?

Bitchy retorts about Putin, the Koreans, Iran and the Afghan leader? Again, shocking? Not so far as I'm concerned.

The only issue I see with WikiLeaks is how did they get their hands on the information, THAT is the problem as far as I'm concerned.

  10. I addressed your point regarding Sarah Palin by referencing a few of the many stupid comments Obama has made. I can add to it by listing off the long list of ignorant statements made by the man who currently is just a heartbeat away from the Presidency, if you like. Does it make you feel better knowing that the painfully ignorant Palin is safely out of the way in Alaska while Joe Biden stands eagerly by?

As for Hilary... we agree. She would have been the better choice for Democrats and for the country.

Have Joe Biden or Barack Obama confused North and South Korea in regards to which side is an ally of the United States? I didn't think so. That Palin screws up an issue that is so current, so crucial, as the conflict between North and South Korea, is just shocking to me. I absolutely feel better knowing that she's tucked away in Alaska, as Barbara Bush said, I think she should stay there too.

Hilary would have been the better choice. I think she has proved that in her role as Secretary of State, a role she has excelled in.

  11. Are you serious? Still defending Obama? Give it up, "DaytimeFan"... Your President is a failure and has accomplished little to nothing. The so-called accomplishments he brags about are the very policy decisions that have crippled the Democratic party and made THEM a laughingstock. Democrats will not be in a majority in America for at least another 10 years (probably more) as a result of his arrogance, poor judgement, and questionable priorities. Throw in a little Pelosi and a pinch of Reid and you have a trainwreck the likes America hasn't seen in a generation or more. The liberal agenda is dead and you are in the minority. Blame Obama for that.

Democrats have had a lock on power in America for two years now and we have WHAT to show for it? The economy continues to crumble, more people out of work, etc. When two of three branches of government are OWNED by one party for two years, laying blame becomes pretty laughable.

Anyway, best wishes to you... ;)

Interesting that you didn't address my point regarding Sarah Palin. But of course you couldn't, there's no justification for her idiocy.

And Obama isn't my president. I didn't vote for him. I was behind Hilary Clinton.

  12. Someone mentioned Baroness Thatcher? unsure.gif Here is a flashback:

Yes, I brought her up. You compare her to Palin and the difference is staggering. Thatcher may have her detractors in the millions, but the woman had a vision and she could construct a simple declarative statement. Palin can't claim either.

  13. And I quote President Barack Obama:

"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries." --Tampa, Fla., Jan. 28, 2010

"No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something." --making an off-hand joke during an appearance on "The Tonight Show", March 19, 2009

"I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go." --at a campaign event in Beaverton, Oregon

And to think that THIS nitwit IS the President.

Are you serious? Equating gaffes like the special olympics, 57 states and middle east for centuries with confusing NORTH v SOUTH KOREA?! One set of comments hurt feelings or sound stupid, the other set of comments start wars and are unforgivably uninformed and internationally embarrassing.

Sarah Palin is a laughingstock. Obama's not perfect, but compared to Palin, he's Mother Teresa.

  14. You know... Mauricio kind of looks... Like he will cheat on Kyle. ph34r.gif She seems way more into him than him into her.

See, I get the exact opposite vibe. If anyone's going to cheat in that relationship, I think it's going to be Kyle, not that I think she will...but I think Mauricio is the type of person who is content, Kyle seems more...restless? Mauricio has said time and again, he'd rather be happy than right.

  15. That and which one of her "friends" will abandon her?

What I was wondering is... Why that Malibu mansion of all those Kelsey owns? And you know he has a bunch of them.

ALL of Camille's friends *employees* will desert her. She's been a Hollywood wife and loved every second of it...but now she's a Hollywood ex-wife. She should have read more Jackie Collins novels, she seems oblivious to what LA has in store for her!

  16. Who is that Cedric guy? And why is he her permanent house guest?!

Cedric used to work for Lisa and Ken in London at their gay club, The Shadow Lounge (which they sold a few years ago with a few other bars for, buckle up, 16 million pounds sterling, they have owned 26 bars and restaurants the world over). Cedric and Lisa really hit it off, when the family moved to LA, he crashed with them and has been there ever since. I think he serves as Lisa's friend, assistant, gossip buddy, flower arranging apprentice and personal trainer. The two of them just seem to have fun together. As Lisa pointed out in last week's episode, Cedric just wants to be a housewife.
