  1. Cool idea, Brandi's strength is that she's self aware. I could totally see a spoof show.
  2. Way to go Brandi! I just hope she's smart with her money and sets herself up well for the long term because this Housewives fame won't last forever.
  3. Yes! Amanda's house is as basic as she is! And frankly, when DaytimeFan's own Vancouver home would make Amanda's house look like a shelter for strays there's a problem over at central casting.
  4. Amanda is not amazing. She's a loser whose out of her league. And let's not even get into that pedestrian house of hers...
  5. RHOV Ronnie. I can understand why JackPeyton thinks Ronnie is vile...but I find her intriguing, when she's sober she is so in control and zooms in for the kill with whoever has wronged her. The way she handled Amanda was epic: "And I'm a lady and I'm doing everything in my power to not come over there and kick your ass. You're a little f*cking bitch is what you are. You are."And the truth of the matter is Ronnie called Amanda a "little bitch" to her face because she WAS being a bitch talking smack about Ioulia. Amanda is a basic, silly bitch who is out of her depth. The minute she feels the heat from Ronnie she flees and phones her boyfriend, she is pathetic. The way she complained about Ioulia at the bikini fitting was also pathetic...while Amanda proclaims herself to be "easygoing" she moans and bitches about anyone else taking attention away from her. And then to say of Ioulia that her husband married his own child and that she shouldn't drink so much because she has responsibilities at home? This coming from the chick who justified making her kids scrambled eggs for dinner? What a weak minded fool. What a loser. Ioulia. Love her. Love her fun relationship with her stepsons. She's very no bullshit. She knows what she wants. Typical Russian. Fabulous. Robyn...well the poor woman clearly couldn't hear her own voice because that demo wasn't tampered with at all. That's exactly how she sounded. At the same time, I think she's terrific good fun and a nice lady. Yay Robyn! Jody. I thought she was hilarious in tormenting a hungover Mia. Otherwise, she showed her usual colours as she gleefully chucked Ronnie under the bus with Amanda. Mary, not much of Mary this episode, but she looks great. And it's a reminder that it's a shame she and Ronnie aren't friends anymore because they seem happy together and Mary clearly knows Ronnie like the back of her hand, she absolutely read Ronnie right on in terms of Amanda.
  6. Brandi was GREAT on Howard Stern...Howard brings the best out of many of his guests, now we just need to get Empress Lisa on his show for an interview, now that would be something to listen to. What's to say? Faye Resnick is a shady bitch. Kyle is a disgusting pig. Kim is NOT sober. Taylor is hilarious, her Bravo blog seems to clear a lot up, if she can keep this no bullshit, say it how it is, drunkenly slurring the truth I'd love to have her back next season. Adrienne is an arsehole. She is such an ugly woman. Brandi is great. Ken defending Brandi was great. Lisa is the queen of all she surveys.
  7. +1 to everyone, if Adrienne wants out, please Bravo, let the door hit her on the way out, I can't stomach the show when she's on. And I agree with ChitHappens, it wasn't the Brandi thing that did Adrienne in, I didn't want to watch the sleazy cow the moment she went after Empress Lisa. She was never going to recover from that particular attack. And it's proven to be true.
  8. Exactly! NJ became way too toxic for me to watch and the fact that it's 100% contrived really did it in for me. BH, on the other hand, a lot of the relationships and rivalries we see are real, it's the set up situations that are contrived, but what we actually see playing out...I don't think anyone could have anticipated Brandi v Adrienne this year being based on Adrienne's (alleged) use of a surrogate. The same can be said of RHOV, the relationships are very real and the negativity and the money and the sadness and the alcoholism is very real too...it's the situations that are contrived, but we can accept that and enjoy it. I would guess the NJ women don't even know who they really are anymore.
  9. Right, but their careers were long dead, not that Kyle ever really ever had one. And those two are case in point, especially Kim, she can't help but act and perform. I forgot about Heather! Now she clearly retired from acting, but she's a solid example of an actress doing it right.
  10. Robin Givens would be interesting. I think the problem with hiring an actress is that would undermine the Real Housewives... already tenuous credibility about being "real"...an actress is going to act, she wouldn't be able to help herself. As well, it's a 'jump the shark' for an acting career so whoever joined would have to really know the consequences.
  11. RHoV... Great episode, relatively drama free, we got to know the new women better (hate Amanda, what a weak fool) and are seeing the groundwork for the rest of the season. Plus we got to see Gay Pride Weekend in Vancouver, one of the highlights of summer for everyone in the city.
  12. OMG that episode of RHOBH was intense! Lisa & Kyle are *over* as friends and as far as I'm concerned it's time to for Lisa to pack it in and end her "friendship" with Kyle. It's a dead relationship and she's holding onto it for dear life. Been there, done that and it'll hurt Empress Lisa, but she'll be better off for it. Adrienne is a lying liar who lies. What a pig. I loved drunk off her ass, throwing caution to the wind Taylor. Read her Bravo blog, she calls Camille a bitch and Adrienne a liar.
  13. The reason RHOV resembles RHOBH so much is because the production company behind RHOV went and studied the production model of the production company of RHOBH and went down and observed filming and editing. A very smart move on RHOV's part. I really warmed to Robin as well, she was so lovely with Remy and seems very genuine. Love the Russian, her attitude is a scream. Amanda is melba toast and seems like such an idiotic, basic bitch, plus she lives in a very average neighbourhood for RHOV standards. From what I understand the Ronnie/Mary relationship has deteriorated in a major way which is a shame only because Remy clearly adores her godmother and Mary and Ronnie have 18 years into their relationship.
  14. RHOV kicked off beautifully. It's going to be an awesome season.
  15. I re-watched that line three times because it's the truth.
  16. What a great episode... Yolanda is great, she'll likely be a one season wonder (though I'd love her to stay), but her finally saying how awful Kyle is was a breath of fresh air and I'm sure Kyle won't forget it once the reunion rolls around, though it will be folly to challenge Yolanda who has the power and money to speak the truth and not apologize for it. Camille revealed something about herself: she's stupid. She failed to realize that Brandi brought up Adrienne's 2% ownership of The Palms to illustrate how Pandora having her hen party at Planet Hollywood wouldn't have benefited Adrienne since she owns a tiny minority in the place...her grasping at straws with Lisa's 51% ownership of SUR was unfortunate to see. 51% is controlling interest, it's controlling ownership, 2% is an embarrassing minority interest that doesn't infer control. Lisa, Empress of Beverly Hills, is the smartest woman to ever grace a Real Housewives franchise and any woman is a fool to challenge her. However, Lisa needs to borrow a line from RHOV's Ronnie Negus and "Know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em" when it comes to Kyle who is not her friend. Kyle is a bitch who doesn't like Lisa at all.
  17. It debuts tomorrow! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=66qkyogs6fs
  18. I hope Paul bankrupts Bernie and ruins his pathetic mess of a life. I've hated him the minute he took a shot at Empress Lisa.
  19. Ugh we do NOT need a return from Jill Zarin. She's scum.
  20. Running up to next week's RHoV premiere! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3RatjUqxC8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPee6v45RI4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVnXsFEo90k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsLhnRXVHK0
  21. As petty as it is of me, I feel obliged to say that my own home in Vancouver is in an area far superior to Amanda's neighbourhood. She lives in North Vancouver and is decidedly upper middle class, she'll be out of her league this round. Ugh, Adrienne is the worst, throwing around the word lawsuit when the fact of the matter is she can't sue for a damn thing. Absolute and utter bullshit. Adrienne is a fool, I can only assume she was forced to confirm things because the rest of the cast had done it for her. Well you never know about the Maloof fortune...
  22. I agree, I like that the episodes build and it isn't a constantly negative, ugly show like NJ or even ATL to an extent, which is why I had to give up on those franchises. I really hate Adrienne too. She is the most humourless shrew to ever grace a RH franchise. And I've seen Jody Claman on RHoV... I love Yolanda. She is a sensible European woman, love her common sense and how dismissive she is of anyone and anything she deems beneath her. You've said it, BH has glamour and this glamour provides us with delicious beats to enjoy that the other franchises simply couldn't hope to provide. In Vanderpump Rules Lisa states that SUR is owned by herself, Ken and other partners, including Guillermo and his wife who are seen regularly in the show. Lisa explained that after decades running their London restaurants and clubs from the ground up, many late hours and missed weekends, taking on partners allowed them to be more "hands off" with the day to day aspects while focusing on the concept of the restaurant. The restaurant business is an amazingly awful one, most restaurants don't last a year. That Ken and Lisa launched over 25 bars, restaurants and clubs in London, arguably the most competitive market in the world, successfully, selling a group of them to the Trocadero Group in 2002 for over ten million pounds sterling, says a lot about their abilities. At the same time, taking on partners just protects them from over-investing into the business and from liabilities if they flounder. It's standard practice, why Camille would attempt to make it seem deceptive is beyond me, it's obvious she's desperate to return full time.
  23. And may I just say I am addicted to Vanderpump Rules? It is absolute trash, but my goodness is it ever watchable trash.
  24. The look on Lisa's face when she said "Hi" to Mauricio at the art gallery opening said it all. She cannot stand Kyle and Mauricio and it's plainly obvious that she tolerates them. K&M did choose Paul and Adrienne's side years ago and the attacks on Lisa are rooted in jealousy. It's pathetic. I really do think Kyle's the worst of the lot, she stirs up sh*t like a cyclone. After $25 million it's all extra, Yolanda, Adrienne and Lisa are all on the same financial field, if anything Lisa and Yolanda are in better shape since they have cash, not debt like the Maloof's allegedly do.
