Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I can't get over how tragic Nene's wigs and/or weaves are. They look so incredibly cheap, she can't afford a lace front?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Somewhere in that part of Bel Air that's a helluva lot closer to Sherman Oaks than Beverly Hills, Kyle just died a little inside. And somewhere else in Malibu Yolanda just looked like she sucked a lemon. And somewhere in a (rented) house in the Hollywood Hills, Brandi is kicking herself for torching her best relationship on the show.

Jody is truly hated in Vancouver. And we all know why. Christina was fabulous and truly funny, and she balanced out the ugliness of RHOV provided by Jody and to a lesser extent the crumbling of Ronnie and Mary's friendship. She was necessary, and production didn't replace that element she brought with Ioulia or (that cow) Amanda. The producers also screwed up by not bringing back Reiko, who left her husband and embarked on a lesbian affair, that would have made for great television.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
In RHOV's case...likely axed because... 1) Jody received death threats from a friend of Mary's which were investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police 2) Jody's store was stink and smoke bombed by animal rights activists And the thought of finding replacement wives in Vancouver was slim to none, it's a small town, socially, and so many relationships were destroyed by the show, though I do wonder if Ronnie and Mary won't find their way back to each other now that Ronnie's marriage is over. Allegedly, her husband cheated on her.

I love your insight into Melbourne too, and I have the same concern you do about season 2, Vancouver just fell apart like some shrieking, toxic monster, it got way too personal, way too nasty, and it died a grizzly death with Jody Claman shrieking at a tea party with a crown on her head like a bipolar hyena. PS: Ronnie Negus is getting divorced from her husband, making RHOV the only franchise to have 100% of the wives divorced.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I am just loving this franchise. It is impeccable. Andrea is such a horrible bitch, she mustn't be very self aware because her behaviour is just destroying any image she was attempting to cultivate from this show. Lydia IS brainless, so I wish Janet hadn't softened what she said to her face. That was either intentional softening or recall failure (Janet is 55 after all) on Janet's part...but I do give her credit for copping to judging Lydia...it's just that Janet fails to realize she judged Lydia perfectly. She's an Andrea ass kissing idiot who is beyond oblivious to how different her life is from her housekeeper who seemed like a lovely lady..."she's my housefriend" made me cringe. Jackie is fun, so is her husband, I like Jackie and Janet together, they're fun. That's Jackie's role and she plays it brilliantly. She is over the top but seems ernest. Chyka is fab. Kind, relaxed, fair, smart, hard working, and a straight shooter. What's not to like? Gina continues her streak of fabulous. She seems like a ball of fun, her date with that guy was excellent material, she seems way less intense than at first glance. She's a good sport and she doesn't give a flying fig about Andrea. That said, I don't like how she said "friendship over" with Janet, someone she's known for 20 years, when Janet called her on behaviour that would put people off. I think the Andrea/Gina conflict is twofold: the 'legal email' and then when Gina referred to Andrea and Lydia as the c-word. I can see how it would irritate them both, but I also think Andrea, in particular, deserves it all, and more.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
LuAnn is a 'Friend of the Housewives' in name only...she has had more visibility this season than Kristin, Sonja and Ramona. Jill and Alex should be brought back, which would mean dropping Kristin and demoting Sonja to 'Friend' status...but that would be a wicked cast for next season. RHOC Anyone else not like Shannon? She is a bit too 'California' for my liking... Vicki is always such a hilarious mess, Tamra's gym should give her plenty of storyline, Heather's house is over the top and her placeholder rental is eerily like Lynne's house that she got evicted from. I hated Gretchen so didn't miss her sorry ass at all, nor did I miss Lydia.

I love watching Chyka too. They'd be really foolish to not have her back for next season, she is delightful to watch and easily the most relatable. I think it helps when we see the women with their families like we did in Vancouver. I'm a broken record, but Melbourne and Vancouver, for my money, are pitch perfect iterations of the RH franchise. Bravo should be looking to their international editions to see how these shows can really be done. I just love Jackie now that she's given Gina a fair shake. She's hilarious.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RH of Melbourne Gina's triumphant return at Chyka's party was a thing of beauty not because of how she behaved, but because by talking to Andrea's husband, she unwittingly exposed the fact that Andrea keeps BIG secrets from her husband about her disgusting behaviour. Interestingly, RHOBH's Lisa reached out to Gina on Twitter and the two had a nice little exchange: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2601186/Lisa-Vanderpump-reaches-lend-support-Gina-Liano-amid-Real-Housewives-Of-Melbourne-war.html Andrea was the most delusional housewife I have ever seen, across any franchise (including that pig Jody Claman) when she went to that meeting with the publisher who mercilessly shot down her (horrible) book idea. Andrea just seems so angry, bitter and full of false pride about her 'fabulous life' and how everyone else wants to be her. Let's face it, she has dodgy teeth, thick legs and for the wife a plastic surgeon, an unfortunate default facial expression. Lydia is gross. She just seems like a dumbass with no sense of timing or sophistication. There are ways to be a saucy minx (see Christina Kiesel of RHOV) without coming across like a drunken slag. Janet's story about her son is so sad, the burns he has suffered are very, very intense. I like that when she said "If I had to sell everything I owned I wouldn't think twice about it" I could believe her. I think Janet is old school and although she is a gossip, she has her redeeming features. Chyka is a really nice lady who seems to really have it all together: a healthy attitude, a good heart, a loving and fun husband and a thriving business. Jackie continues to be a hoot. Her lingerie shopping was great, as was her absolute obliviousness to how badly her alcohol business is actually going. She lucked out with her husband, they seem an ideal match.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Nene has been looking absolutely dreadful from all the pictures I've seen posted. Her wigs and weaves haven't looked this cheap in years. I'm shocked to hear that she has turned down paying acting work. She is going to pull a David Caruso with her career.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RH of Melbourne was so good. In fact, I'm going to watch the episode again right now. Janet is a gossip, but she is straightforward with Gina and I think Gina gets Janet. Chyka, she is wonderful, a totally decent person who strives to be really fair. Andrea is such a bitter bitch. Lydia is a puffy faced cow. Jackie is a hilarious kook. Gina is a fabulous diva. She is a force of nature. The show is shot so beautifully, the music is near identical to that used in Vancouver and the arc is so perfect. And it's only 10 episodes, so we're going to have a fabulous run for the next 3 episodes. I think the seasons being too long is killing BH and the rest.

For pictures of Taylor's wedding... Apparently Lisa, Kyle and Adrienne were in attendance. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2597526/Taylor-Armstrong-radiant-strapless-ivory-gown-weds-lawyer-John-Bluher-romantic-beachside-ceremony-LA.html

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Frankly, good for Taylor/Shana...she was hilarious her last season when the money was gone, the Birkins were fake and she settled her lawsuits by hawking her engagement ring. At that point she just did not give a damn and threw Adrienne under the bus just as she should have. It was Taylor...unplugged. And I loved it. I hope she has a happy ending with this guy and that all is well for her and Kennedy. She paid a great penance. Now she should have some peace.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'm sure Amanda was auditioning in conjunction with Kristin...there is no explanation for her trash bag behaviour otherwise. It sounds like Ramona's marriage might be back on...I wish her and Mario luck.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's where we disagree, I think Luann is 100% fine with her lot in life. I don't think much bothers her at all, that's why she caves so easily when confronted...she honestly just doesn't care.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I can't help but love Luann. She is a snob, haughty, cunning, a pot stirrer par excellence and stylish. But most importantly I firmly believe Luann is in on the joke that is Luann. I think she plays everything way up and she is never boring.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHNYC It continues to be just excellent. I was happy to see Luann back and she gelled beautifully. I love that house of hers. Sonja is so desperate but it's hilarious. Carole vs Aviva is great. Kristin didn't have much to do this episode. That Amanda woman is beyond trash. I can't wait to see Heather go jailhouse on Aviva next week.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH "I held myself accountable" - Kyle. Talk about a howler. Kyle is the eternal victim, whining and moaning and bitching and sniping away. She churns up old crap like a tractor tills soil. She couldn't stand that Lisa actually apologized for the joke she made when Portia was in the room. "She's not asking you to fire her." - Andy. He is now a crap host. He has lost any perspective on these shows and it's not limited to BH. I really like Andy and respect the work he has done with Bravo...but he is absolutely lost hosting the reunions now. He's Icharus and flying too high. "Nothing." - Lisa Oh Lisa, one word said it all about her feelings about Kyle and, by extension, most of these women. I do think she and Ken will crumble when it comes to Brandi, and that's a shame because she is a horrendous liability. But, she's human. Sigh. "I feel like I'm being cheated on again with the same woman." - Brandi What a nutjob. She really needs to get over the fact that her C List actor ex-husband left her. Her "but I don't want back in" in reaction to Ken icing her out...bahaha...as she wails with "You know I love you!" and "I need someone to stay!"...she's a mess. An absolute mess. I hope she gets her medications sorted out and realizes mixing antidepressants and alcohol is not a wise choice. "You are just trash." - Carlton She landed one slam. And bless her, she landed it on Kyle who looked so angry. I won't be at all surprised if Carlton doesn't return, she was a non-factor in this season. "I met some people I was sad to discover were backstabbers." - Joyce Yes...true...welcome to the world of reality TV Joyce. "Andy...I just had another grrrreat year." - Kim Good lord...talk about irrelevant. If Kim returns I think I'll be watching RHOBH very differently...fast forwarding through anything and everything Kim related. She has NO storyline. None. "David is at his job." - Yolanda Nothing said more about a marriage than that statement. David is never going to be involved in this show and how it cheapens his brand. Yolanda is full of sh*t about Ken "grabbing her"...a lie. And what she said about Ken getting into the conversations over and over again, take a seat, hypocrite. "Well I only apologized for what I said, the stupid comment." - Ken *snap* and with that...we end the worst season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They'd better realize how terrible this season was and look to the RHOVancouver and the RHOMelbourne to see how glamorous, frothy, delicious franchises should be done.

That line of Jackie's slayed me. She can be such a hoot.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Jackie is totally bizarre. And I think totally harmless too. She doesn't seem like a nasty bitch like Andrea or a mean airhead like Lydia. Janet is in her mid 50s and of an era, in Australian/Canadian/British culture, where manners are extremely important and fuses regarding that issue are very short. It doesn't surprise me that she is so irritated about Gina's lateness, it's a pet peeve of mine too. That said, Gina and Janet had good friendship chemistry, ditto Jackie. I think the Vancouver and Melbourne housewives would gel so easily. Hell, they've both featured tennis parties!
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RH of Melbourne Andrea is such an elitist bitch, the Jody Claman of this franchise, obsessed with Gina apologizing to her. Lydia is an irrelevant pot stirring cow. Jackie continues to be kooky and hilarious. She and her husband seem to have a fun relationship, he seems to totally get her I really like Janet, but she is old school in her manners and her distaste for Gina being so late seemed a bit of an overreaction. Chyka is the kick ass mom all sons want. Gina was rude to show up so late, but I do understand her career limitations. Classy of her to work things out with Jackie. It was hilarious seeing her dance with the short guy

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHNYC After the dreck of BH...this is so fantastic. Ramona and Avery...sigh...Ramona had an unhappy childhood from what we know and it seems that she knows she did right by Avery. Those were touching scenes. I always liked Ramona. Kristin...I do like her but I found this episode with the mud race a little out of place...perhaps it is meant to illustrate her relationship with her husband. Heather's husband is hardcore, he got through that without breaking a sweat. Sonja and her interns. I wonder how legal that is. Again, I think Sonja is a hoot. Carole was epic grabbing Aviva's face. She really was furious. She handled things with Ramona in a very grownup way. Props to her. Heather was on point with the 'be careful' to Aviva. I would put nothing past Heather if it involved someone she cared about. Holla! Aviva...what a psycho. And yet...we need this psycho for this franchise. She makes this show pop because she is batshit and she knows it. I can't wait for Luann to return. She is absolutely on par with Ramona in terms of value...nobody speaks easily translatable French while on the phone discussing a one night stand in St Bart's quite like The Countess.
