I wondered if Luke would be the one because the other names mentioned couldn't be for a number of reasons. This will be great material for Lucky as well - his father accidentally killing his son AND Tracy's husband killing Tracy's brother's true heir. Don't know if TPTB will remember that part, but the fans will ESPECIALLY since Luke was instrumental in disinheriting the kid in the first place.

LOL…. Jane will never twitter - she's far too private for that. As for the Toxic Balls, that's a perfect example of the way a story was changed because of fan reaction, or a knee-jerk reaction from TPTB. I think what Guza had envisioned was probably a really good story but NO ONE was prepared for it to play out so changes were made and the whole thing became a disaster. Now the fans disparage it but they - we - don't seem to acknowledge that we're a large part of the problem. A story for Tracy would be fabulous, but the reality is she's always been a second-string character even in the 70's. Married to Luke is the closest she's come to leading anything. Even her Ashton stories were all told, not witnessed. Her marriage to Paul was more convenience and ELQ than anything actually about the character. Tracy is truly a "support" player, and while we could all come up with stories for her to lead, that's not her role on GH and never has been.

GH tried to get rid of BH a couple of times, but someone in their stupidity stopped it. She's a character who was done a long time ago but keeps getting these saves (JJ's return, this hold). But I suspect she's gone next time they try. Ironically the largest problem isn't even the character, it's the fans not accepting much else and not willing to wait until things play out. I'm all over the internet and it boggles the mind how short-sighted most fans are. Back in the day - the much lauded 80's - fans were willing to see real story play out. Now if it's not to their liking in one month they have fits and TPTB try to respond. THEN TPTB are blamed for not being able to tell a story. There's no win there.

A few years back anther poster on SOC and I did a list of the biggest horndogs in PC. Tracy wasn't anywhere near the top of the list. Sonny topped it for men and Sam for women - assuming we didn't use Bobbie's past as a hooker against her. All things considered, Mama doesn't sleep around nearly as much as some might imagine considering her prime status as wealthy, single (more often than not) and sexy as hell. And while Sonny/Tracy might be hot, it's all kinds of wrong.

Agreed. i don't think we've even seen her more than a couple of times this past month. The character shouldn't have been given a contract anyway - she wasn't used enough to justify that. I keep waiting for JC to be given the boot too. M&M just aren't sparking.

IMO Maya can go the way of the dodo, and Mayan has always been a joke. But if AI leaves and AL is gone, that reduces Tracy's Girls to Lulu again. Sigh…. Trace needs more people in her corner. Hopefully as things unfold Tracy and Siobhan will develop a relationship.

Watched today's show - something is definitely happening to Luke. Nice to know that the scoundrel and his popsicle are back in the good times. They need to keep it that way. The missing wedding ring was obviously a wardrobe mishap. Yesterday and today they were in prime view.

Ethina has chemistry that Mayan would die for. Getting that pilot is probably the most graceful exit for an actress/character that just never worked. The AL/BL thing is what bothers me - they were just healing that relationship and Bric was surprisingly enjoyable. Who knows, it could just be a little while like her other 'exits'. Either way my Spencermaine heart is still full.

What's the word on AL? Is BL leaving temporarily or for good? i don't want her gone for long and it sounds like it's just for the time being, but you know how SD twists things.

I don't remember. I just know I KNEW I was going to go to Mt. A, no questions asked. My daughter speaks with the same certainty - hope she follows in the path of our family. I've even got her grandmothers' Choral jacket and grandfather's lab coat when she's ready. She's the only child to carry my name, so those items belong to her. I do remember the staff in high school thought I wasn't terribly smart. My brother and sister used to get all A's, and I was a C student. Now 20+ years later, I've got the Master degree and am preparing for my Ph.D. in a few years, my sister has a B.Ed she never uses and my brother couldn't get through one term anywhere he tried. So I ask… (well actually I don't )… who ended up being the best student. It also didn't help that I was big boobed and blonde.

I remember a million years ago when I was about to graduate high school, my guidance counsellor asked what universities I had applied to and I told him Mount Allison. He thought that rather foolish and asked what other universities I applied for, to which I responded Mount Allison. Now that's as close to "Ivy League" as we get in Canada with more Rhodes Scholars than anywhere else in the world, and obviously I wasn't smart enough to be accepted in his estimation. I remember he finally wore me down so I applied for Acadia also. About a week later I got my acceptance to Mount Allison and he was floored. In his mind I was being too narrow minded and setting myself up for rejection, lol. I don't think he understood that I spent the first 7 years of my life at Mount Allison while my parents received their degrees from that school. Sometimes ya just know.

In all honesty, they have been extremely consistent about Luke wearing his ring. it must have been an oversight by the wardrobe department. Perhaps TG washed his hands and forgot to put it back on his finger. Except for that garbage with Laura a few years back and Robert's dream in NSII, I can't remember a time when Luke wasn't wearing his ring. In fact he's been more consistent than Tracy (I'm not referring to JE or TG who have been consistent in their character's attire regardless).

I think they are heading in the direction of Edward and senility of some form. It would be a first on daytime and I can't wait to see what the Spencermaines will do with it. And for the love of God could they PLEASE stop calling it a "Green-card Wedding". Just call it wedding already - if they want to convince the authorities that it isn't real, calling it "green card" will accomplish that nicely. We all know where it will head, so just call it a wedding/marriage already. Sheesh…...

LOL…. well on behalf of myself and others, thank you for the compliments. There was a time when I was the "newbie" and I had the same feeling about those who wrote. There is definitely a gentle tide of movement and change on this thread, and the reason it's the longest ever is because this is a great and welcoming place. Funny how the Queen Bitch inspires so much loyalty and friendliness amongst fans - perhaps it's a reflection on Tracy's truest nature. Stories that haven't ended are my biggest frustration in fanfic, and i'm embarrassed to say I have one in that category. I'll do my best to fix it.

Spoilers keep saying the "Spencers" rally together, and Tracy is part of that family. For all intents and purposes Jake is Luke and Tracy's "grandson". Monica doesn't know any connection nor does Edward, so it's not surprising that they aren't involved even a little. Bobbie not being around for Joss is the hole.

So…… VMG's inept self comes on in a splash, eats the show for almost a year, then leaves? Brenduh gone is not a bad thing, and at least the S&B folks had their dream wedding. Any chance of MB leaving with her (I know, I can hope though…)? This might explain why their reunion was so rushed. We'll see what happens with Tracy. She does pop up in interesting places from time to time. And while I understand and agree with the sentiment that they should use her more, I'm actually glad they are having Luke more involved with the Spencers. For too long it was only bickering with Tracy or the HS with Ethan. I am glad to see more Lucky/Luke interaction and I'm enjoying the Luke/Carly stuff. I just with we would also see more Tracy/Brook and Tracy/Lulu stuff to compliment that. But if you look at the big picture, the Spencermaines are being better represented and fleshed out. Siobhan is one of the great additions IMO and Brik is surprising me. I like it.

That's not great for Tracy fans, but works in my life. I guess Luke will be back just about the time I'm finally settled in my new home and ready to pay attention again. Perhaps we'll get lucky, though, and they will remember that Tracy has other people she can hang with - aside from her sisters-in-law in the closet.
