I'm still always amazed how early you folks head back. Good luck with the new year, Funny and Ms. Q. Try not to kill the screamers. So it's roughly t-minus 30 hours until more Tracy? I haven't seen it since Liz found Lucky in the chapel and I couldn't deal with that teenage-wannabe reliving. I don't understand why TPTB think LL2 is anything to root for. Both are baby-faced, which belies their age, and have so much more chemistry and power with other actors. That's a really blind side as far as I can see.

It's not the writers, it's the fans who have no sense of how story works, who are constantly demanding happy endings. That's fine for shows that have been cancelled so now everything can be wrapped up, but not for something that isn't showing signs of ending. And as we've seen by the last couple of times Laura has been on, there are certain vocal groups that are completely myopic on the topic and give TPTB serious grief. Why even have the writers bother to go there. It's not as if the "kids" are children nor do other offspring have their parents around. There is no need and no place for the character of Laura.

The "Laura" issue was settled a long time ago, it's select fans that don't seem to get it and a smart writer, no matter how frustrating it is, keeps hedging their bets. I see no problem mentioning her the same way Alan and Lila are always mentioned. My issue is how people assume it's code. Tracy is now the Spencer's reluctant matriarch. She is far more real to that family than some disembodied name of a person who hasn't been around for years. This is also where all the story potential is to be found.

Skye is a bitch, plain and simple. Now, she still can be seriously schooled by THE bitch, but she's a bitch nonetheless and has been on AMC, OLTL, PC and GH. Bringing that out in her is really getting her back to her old self. What I find interesting is how she tried to use Luke's absence to needle Tracy - obviously knowing nothing that transpired for Luke in the past 8 months - and Tracy didn't bite. She is also - whether we accept it or not - considered a Quartermaine on GH, so that is in keeping with GW's claim that that Core Family will be built up. It's a short term gig however, so she's only here to stir the pot. Whatever happens in connection will be interesting. I was re-reading one of GW's earliest interviews with regards to Luke where he said "I was handled a puzzle". Translation - "I was given a dog's breakfast in place of a legendary character and now I have to make him work again". He also went on to say in follow-up articles that LuNacy was a great combination to play, so given that, I can see Skye helping bring Luke back to the stage indirectly along with AZ, but LuNacy is definitely the couple to root for (regardless of LnL hardliners who are hoping that AZ will pave the way for Laura's return). What will happen? Who's to know. Apparently GW has better control on leaks than Guza ever did and he wants there to be lots of secrets - Skye and Tracy both having been said to have huge ones in their own right. The word that Tracy's potential former step-granddaughter is coming to PC just adds to the suggestion that AZ is bringing out the heavy artillery to go after Tracy/ELQ and Luke being Tracy's "hero" would certainly help clear up a lot of the crap left attached to the character before TG left.

Ms Q, we still call my oldest son "Flounder" from time to time because when Ruah was younger she was totally obsessed with mermaids and used to be Ariel in all of her playing. One day she just dismissively said to Shiloh "You be Flounder" and forever that was his place in life - to follow her around and do her bidding. He still plays that role. God help the boy who tries to come between those two. I really love it when actors pour love on other actors. There's something so real about that level of admiration and respect, especially when it comes from someone who normally doesn't say anything on the matter. We all have heard the word "love" used far to frequently and it's lost it's value from many a person, but true appreciation is to be admired.

Okay darlin', can you tell me how to get just the music from YT? There are a few songs I've been listening to but aren't sold on the iTunes Canada sight. LuNacy's theme was one of them but a friend was able to get it.

Show started with Tracy and Edward at ELQ. When was the last time we saw that? Have we ever seen that? The looks comment was bitchy but not terribly and Tracy did have a come back. Now what was interesting is that not only does Edward smell a rat with Skye, but when Skye brought up Anthony being in jail, Tracy's face was interesting. You could almost see the wheels turning. Jax has the 'psycho-kidnapper' haircut that Tony Jones sported before he took Michael. I hope he gets Josslyn and heads for the hills. Oh, it's also pretty clear Skye hasn't been in touch with Luke and doesn't know anything about Jake's death. Another spoiler bites the dust.

Pretty good show, I must say. Could have done with Mabby and Sonny, but the rest was watchable. Love TraLu! They are always fabulous. And Tracy's vulnerability with her was something I might write.

I don't know enough about the techy side of FB, but it's probably some little box you ticked or didn't tick that presents barriers. I have a couple of friends who's walls don't exist and I know they did that on purpose (a little paranoid, to say the least).

I read in a couple of places it was well done. I'm anxious for YT to get today's clips up so I can see it. Hooked, I lived on my own for 4 months about 100 years ago….. it was heavenly and I long for those days.

As the mother of a daughter who is always giving her father the run around, I find that highly amusing Ms. Q. And good luck with the move. This is an exciting new adventure for you. I haven't kept up with you as keenly in the past couple of years, but I'm so happy you are moving into your own space with your own belongings/dreams/responsibilities. (Does that sound too maternal of me? Oh well, suck it up and feel the love.)

We're been waiting awhile to see this part picked up on General Mobular. Looks good to me. And since that is a cancelled ABC soap, hopefully they will have full access to characters, storylines and perhaps even clips.

I know the writers have to put Luke through the ringer when he returns because he was so badly written when he left, but I don't want it to last too long. LuNacy is one of the strongest pairings they have on the canvas and they haven't even come close to what these two can do. If GW is following Marland's Principles, then there is a good chance he understands and celebrates Marland's creations. But no matter where they go, both Luke and Tracy have to get involved with a real story and as much as I loath mob stuff, if its mob-related to Tracy's past, I'm open. There are countless chapters that can be explored.

Except it didn't really work - it gave the impression that Tracy was being amused by him, and that wasn't what she was going for. I liked it as a moment watching Jane, but as story about Tracy it should have been re-shot.

And we're back….. yeah. Okay, so opinions on the AZ/Tracy interaction on Friday. That laugh was interesting but I don't think it was Tracy laughing at AZ but rather JE laughing at BW and him using it. What do you guys think?

I can. AZ hits Luke in the sore spot when it comes to Tracy. He's suave, sophisticated, rich in his own right, well healed, and doesn't let his personal baggage get in the way. Compared to him Luke - in his current state of self-loathing - is nothing more than unlovable white-trash with problems. Who would Tracy reasonably pick of the two?
