Regarding Skye's likability, I agree. However, Adam abducted Erica, tried to drive Dixie into a madhouse after using her for a baby, and cost Gloria a child, so I don't personally view Skye as irredeemable. I know very few people seem to have enjoyed the character on any soap, but I saw her as a lonely and emotionally damaged woman.

It's also interesting that ABC decided to put a character who apparently wasn't particularly " likable'' on all three of their soaps.
From the episodes I have seen via YouTube, Skye was most compelling while she was battling her alcoholism.

Btw, I've seen clips of the original Skye (an Australian actress); she was awful, so it's not a shock they decided to recast.

I'm starting to view a few 1986 episodes of Santa Barbara via YouTube - and I like what I'm seeing.
Robin's Mattson's character, 'Gina', is my favorite so far; I also loved RM as 'Janet' on All My Children.
Oh, and 'Angel' is super CUTE!!

I really didn't care much for Bianca's gown when she married Reese.
Reese's was alright, if a tad common. 

I rather adored the sleek wedding gown Kate Collins wore when Natalie married Jeremy.

It was a high-fashion gown and not the usual tacky, puffed-out wedding dresses which were ubiquitous in the ‘80s.

The character was written as one to be feared, but Ruth wanted the audience to love her, so she played Phoebe as a daffy, delusional society matron.

The director told her she needed to play it mean, so she did.

But she stated that the character was eventually allowed to become humorous again (as we all know).

Tempo was a national magazine, with offices in NYC.

Adam purchased the magazine, and moved the offices to Pine Valley so Brooke could run it (she didn’t want to move to New York).
