As for Tom's one-nighter with Erica, that was about two years prior to Skye arriving in PV. He was married to Brooke, who was pregnant with Laura at that time.
''Good Catholic'' Tom goes postal on Erica for taking birth control pills, but it's alright to cheat on your pregnant wife with your wife's main rival. I hope he went to confession the next day. As for Erica, she didn't give a crap. LOL

In addition, there was a bar called Foxy's on Locust Street in Center City. Hughie was the bartender.
And Opal forced Jenny to work at that trashy place. The Lyman version was much more - delightfully so - ''trailer trashy"'.

You know, I never had anything against Marcy Walker - and really enjoyed the character of Liza from the ‘90s (and from clips I’ve seen from the ‘80s) - but GSGfan2017’s disturbing stan obsession (which goes beyond a mere fan) has made me loathe her.
I used to post a lot here when AMC was on the air, but mostly lurk now.

Michael E. Knight still had a paunch when he appeared on Home & Family earlier this year.
Sweetie, your obsession, Marcy Walker, was getting downright FAT by the early 2000s.
I remember that Venetian Ball at the Chandler Mansion - circa 2003 - where Liza was going insane and pushed her half-sister out an attic window.....
Marcy looked like a stuffed sausage w/ blonde hair in her burgundy-coloured frock.

I wonder what Lisa Solomon (may she rest in peace, by the way) thought of the Liza Colby and Jenny Gardner characters.
I consulted Lisa via Ouija board.... she said you need help.
(She also said she LOATHED the Liza Colby character as played by Marcy Walker..... even going so far as to say she preferred Alice Haining in the role).

There is an episode of the Investigation Discovery series The 1980s: The Deadliest Decade entitled "The Newlywed Murder." Not only is All My Children brought up (the victim in the true-crime story was a fan of the soap), but footage from the serial is even used.

She definitely wasn't the original Dr. Tolan. Ceara was seeing her in 1991 to deal with her father raping her as a child; it was a different actress. I liked her.
Anyway, I cannot FATHOM how Kate Collins was never even NOMINATED for an Emmy. But, then again, someone made a good point that they didn't want her competing for votes w/ Susan Lucci. She should have at least been nominated for the Ross rape/Silver Kane story and definitely Natalie/Janet.0 -

AMC Tribute Thread
in DTS: Cancelled Soaps

Erica wanted to play herself in the film, but she was a terrible actress.
In one hilarious scene, Adam has Erica do a screen test; they recreated Erica confronting Faux-Silver over the Kent affair.
Erica was GODAWFUL, over-the-top and mugging, even portraying herself.
Adam replaced her with a different actress — I think the character’s name was Danielle — much to Erica’s horror.
In the end, the film version of Raising Kane bombed at the box-office.
