Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
And when do we get to see this festival of excess thirst? Because I'll tune back in to watch. I demand to see the following: -A lame duck GNA 'launch.' With no fashions. How dreadful! -Jacqueline unexpectedly exposing another Mia secret. -Ashley hyping up her buddy (you know the one) and setting that crazy train in motion. -My beloved Karen Huger immediately ducking behind Security.

While the fact that Quad only interacts with the other women when the cameras are there is a valid point, the way it was twisted to save Dr. Jackie's ass was gaslighting. The amount of bending over backwards that Bravo and this cast do to protect Jackie and make sure she is OK! Jackie never has to raise her voice or get in the mix -- she's got her attack dog Heavenly to do that for her, or Simone or Toya if all else fails. She is very sensitive to criticism, but she is also ruthless, and the way she told Quad "I'd rather lose a friend than lose myself" was ruthless. IOW: you're taking the fall for me, Quad. Quad said that the impetus to get her off the show came from Jackie (even though Simone was the one who told Quad "we want you off the trip"), and Mariah once said the same. Jackie is keen to maintain her top-dog position on the show. Nevertheless, I'm not sure M2M can do without Quad. The show needs an outsider and anti-heroine who is trying to break into this group (even though I find Quad a complete narcissist, user of people and manipulative). When Simone referenced Quad's niece drowning in order to say "Well, I've never been invited to Quad's house!", that was cruel and gross. I find it VERY interesting how Heavenly is sitting back and observing all this. Usually she is Jackie's most ferocious defender and BFF. However, Heavenly seems deeply over her role as Jackie's pitbull. The Jackie scandal came from Heavenly's YouTube archive. She kept that interview up. On purpose? Heavenly likes to leverage dirt against the other women. Also a month ago, she live-streamed her and Quad on a shopping excursion. Seems like the two are buddies again, or maybe Heavenly is trying to bring Quad back into the fold for reasons of keeping the show viable. I think that is interesting given the line in the sand Jackie just drew with regards to Quad coming back to the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I watched Parts 1 and 2 back to back. This entire cast needs to return. Their chemistry is authentic. All of them openly weeping at Guerdy's VT (Guerdy unable to watch the scene of Russell cutting her hair). And what about when Julia told Lisa she wasn't ready to forgive, but during lunch break went into Lisa's dressing room to explain her hurt, show her photos of her kids when they were babies, and make up with her. All those moments stood out for me as representative of that connection. Following Marcus Jordan's nasty comment about how the women weren't fit to wash dishes in the Jordan house, I can only say he is not fit to wash dishes in these women's houses. Guerdy, who worked from catering to heading up her own events business. Dr. Nicole who worked her way through medical school. Marysol and her PR business, Adriana and her art gallery. Kiki who left whom at 15 to work. Julia, who raised two girls on her own. The disrespect is crazy. How Larsa thinks she's better than these women is crazy. I now understand why those two came together. Adriana did her usual performance art thing, and while I was more on Marysol's side with that one, I still love crazy ole Adriana. I also love her Frida Kahlo look. Despite low ratings, Andy seemed engaged and energised by the cast and the season during reunion. And rightfully so! -- Charrisse meme.

I enjoyed the two RHONYs as separate entities but I would love them merged, too. We've seen Jessel and Sonja in ad campaigns for Alexis Mabille Couture recently and I like their chemistry together.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I read somewhere they filmed in February 2023. Which means a reunion filmed in late August 2024? WTF? Why not just air it right after BH or Miami are done? What other show is ready to be screened in March? None!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Part 1 of RHOBH's reunion was pretty fast-paced considering how lowkey the season was overall! I read Kyle's text to Dorit. It is very manipulative and plays on her emotions -- fear of losing her friendship with Kyle, the Kemsleys' marriage woes, etc. There is no doubt in my mind that Kyle worked every angle of that message in advance, ready to send on exactly the day before Reunion. It also confirms what I've long suspected -- that Kyle slots her BFFs in and out of her life, leveraging her friendship in return for something, and playing on their sympathy when she's down and 'needs them.' "She preys on the weak" -- remember that line, @NothinButAttitude? Yet another LVP reference from Kyle! She is obsessed. Crystal was phenomenal (not a phrase I write very often on here), decimating Dorit and Annemarie with ease. Dorit tried it with a lot of the women this season. She's played the microaggression card for years but, next to Rinna, Kyle, Erika, it would pass under the radar. This season, it is now under the spotlight. As for Flopmarie, Andy seems inexplicably charmed by this obnoxious professional gaslighter. The rehearsed "I. Won't. Be. Part. Of you. Sys. Tem. Of Lies" line made me cringe. What on earth does that mean? 'System of lies' like Sutton's supposed anorexia? If her performance yesterday was any indication of her bedside manner, I worry for the patients who must have their concerns routinely brushed aside by Big Mouth. Dorit vs Kyle needs an LVP check-mate, even if she's just a FOH. But I fear we will see Rinna back before Pinky.

I have no idea which RH shows are going to bridge the gap over spring into summertime, but I have to imagine Dubai will be one of them, given that it has been sitting in the can for months. But Dubai cannot carry the RH franchise alone, and I have no clue which other city will be joining it. New Jersey? NuRHONY? Ever since last fall, when we realised we were entering a Q1 with RHOBH, Miami, Potomac, M2M and a new UGT (not to mention The Traitors US and VPR) all airing, I thought it was ridiculous for Bravo to be blowing its wad in the first 3 months of this year.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
This is heart-breaking. Live ratings have been doing Dallas-level numbers, so I'm hoping that most Miami viewers are streaming on Peacock and Bravo is counting those +5 day numbers. But shuffling Part 2 of the reunion to the next night (which, correct me if I'm wrong, is a Friday??) says to me that Bravo wants to burn these episodes off fast. 😪 And I hate that for my girls and what has become my favorite franchise. As you know, I am a viewer since S1, and I hoped that their S4 renaissance would lay the foundation for many future seasons. I'm still hoping it will -- if they move it back to Peacock and actually promote it. Otherwise, it is done on Bravo, and it really does not deserve that at all. I mean, who didn't shed a tear when Russell shaved Guerdy's head in preparation for chemo? Who didn't burn with anger at Larsa for being such a mean gaslighting b!tch to Guerdy? Who didn't love everybody dancing awkwardly to Adriana's latest dance sensation? LOL. An incredibly rapid fall from grace. Almost as rapid as their engagement/divorce from Falyn timeline. I honestly don't see how the RHOA will be able to hold their tongue or not ask Porsha questions about this. This ain't RHOBH. I wonder how Bravo feels about Netflix's Buying Beverly Hills trailers featuring the Umansky breakup and their entire family (see DRW's post just above yours)? I mean, RHOBH would have loved to have had that inner-family-circle content this season.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Don't get me wrong, I don't want another round either. I'm honestly tired of the toxicity and would love for once to see Kenya develop a friendship. I also feel that Carlos King should produce RHOA. He loved the city and the show. He knows all these women inside and out. The current production team is creatively bankrupt. Falyn is all over my socials these days. I wonder if that means she wants to join RHOA.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH: Kenya now, clearly.- Married to Medicine
OMG! Get away from me with this, Apollo! He's still hot.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
BWAH! at your gif. Obviously not about the divorce itself which is obvi v sad. But my goodness, can you imagine how much the production team is quaking right now? They threw Kandi's entire paycheck at Porsha in order to get MoneyWealthGlamourLuxury. And now she's divorcing Mr. Moneybags.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh, Flopmarie should definitely be let go, but IMO I'd keep Dorit over Crystal. I like Rob and what she brings culturally, but her personality is not made for reality TV. She pulled her punches with some of the women, even Flopmarie, when she was on the right side of the argument IMO. Dorit OTOH was a little spicier, more ready to speak her mind in the VTs at least, showing the good, bad and the ugly of her personality. The dissolution of her friendship with Kyle makes her viable for next season IMO. The fact that Kyle is trying to pretend they were never close ("We only went on vacation together once!") and the fact that Dorit disparaged Morgan ("She stuck out like a sore thumb')... well, Territorial Teddi must be absolutely thrilled she doesn't have to share her BFF with Dorit anymore! Judging by the reunion trailer, Dorit is trying to earn her spot. I doubt Bravo will do a hard reboot of the cast unless Kyle were to leave. You are so right. It is TIME for an LVP-Kyle sit-down at a Beverly Hills Italian restaurant, and they need to talk about ~everything~ honestly, and it needs to take up at least 30 minutes of screen time, and Kathy and Kris Jenner need to be there as enforcers to make sure nobody leaves or wriggles out of any hard questions. I feel pity for Bramdi even though she brings it on herself a lot of the time. Recently I rewatched S10 BH, and it was very interesting seeing the baby shower where Brandi passed around her texts from Denise. Dorit literally dangles at one point the possibility of "Maybe you can come back into the group" -- depending on what info Brandi ponies up. Bravo dangled the promise of the show to her again and again and made her jump through hoops, but then reneged. It's been a constant jumping through hoops ever since because she is addicted to Bravo and the reality TV game. And dependent upon it.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOBH I struggled to know what to talk about with this finale episode. The title cards involving Erika's 'residency' in Vegas, or Crystal's brother... we barely saw any of that, it felt like. And no-one really cares. Flopmarie remains a flop. Kyle's White Party didn't have the panache of her other White Parties. It felt like a lot of money thrown at the camera for the sake of needing a big event to end the show on. And LVP continues to live rent free in Kyle's head. From Kevin the party planner to Kyle doing 2 impressions of LVP, it just underscored how much the old BH is currently missing. I felt bad for the daughters during the climactic sir-down. They weren't acting. Alexia's face looked genuinely devastated, and Portia's tears weren't fake. Meanwhile, satellites can still pick up Mauricio's gigantic chompers from space. Kyle basically exiling Dorit from her life is a ruthless move. She senses Dorit might be a weak link. I don't even like Dorit like that, but I felt sorry for her. At the White Party she cut a lonely and islanded figure. Yeah, we are never seeing the Morocco UGT. And after this, Brandi is never coming back to Bravo, ever.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Or she's gaslighting. Honestly, I felt like it was a good reunion trailer with Kyle getting called out.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
BH reunion trailer. Dorit doesn't take the hoodie thing off her head for the entire reunion!- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
A lot of these outfits I feel like I've seen before. I liked Dorit's outfit the best, until I realised that Melissa Gorga wore a similar look in blue at the last NJ reunion. I'm not sure why Kathy showed up when she wasn't in this current season at all (rumors say she came to excoriate Sutton on Kyle's behalf, which makes zero sense to me??), but yay I guess. She'll be entertaining. Garcelle is channeling LVP's Tom Ford liquid-rosé-gold look at the S8 reunion. We already know about Flopmarie channelling Charrisse. Crystal's dress is very Italian Designer and very her -- underrated and understated. Maybe too daywear for BH? Overall I think she looks the best here -- hair lustrous, skin glowy. I'm sure I've seen Sutton's halter-top dress on some reunion somewhere. The blue velvet is nice. Erika's look has been in her closet a long time and is a repeat. Same, I feel, with this green outfit on Kyle.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
😅 Thank you for verbalizing the major problem I have with this season. Not just the disconnect between women who once seemed to have organic chemistry with each other. But the complete unwillingness of production to confront Robyn about her personal life and the Patreon scam. They are overtly protecting her because she is Production's puppet.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Falyn is on Couple's Therapy this season with her current beau, apparently. Welp... i can't say this is surprising, because its not. When someone keeps their job description vague, you know something is going on. What I don't understand is why be on a show when you have stuff to hide? I think Porsha will try and get out of next season.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
They could have shown Kyle with her new BFF Morgan and the implications for her friendship with Dorit, which seems to be a little on the outs right now. Then we have Erika who, without Rinna, has allied herself closer to Kyle recently (despite her not being a big fan of Kathy's). It also raises a wider question of why does Kyle cycle through a squad of BFFs, and why are these BFFs rarely friends with each other? However, the show has tiptoed away from all that, saving it as an underlying current on the After Show or an impromptu Kyle interview on a red carpet somewhere. The mini cast trips are usually scheduled in episode 2 or 3 of the season, in the hopes that they lay down the foundations for a season's dramas or petty rivalries. Sometimes they can generate more drama than the cast trip itself, but I agree that in this case Vegas did little but establish Sutton as a somewhat disingenuous prude.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
There have been two moments (once when we met Morgan Wade for the first time, another was the tense-off between Mo & Kyle's in the car) where I felt the chemistry, or lack thereof, was real. I went into this season thinking this was a fake SL for the purposes of the show. But I've been second-guessing myself since that first (contrived) scene between Mo's blinding, egregious chompers and his Lovebean. Part of it may be that Kyle seems so turned off by Mauricio, and I'm not sure i blame her because he is giving me the ick big-time. But a lot of it is the 'mystery' of piecing together the few nuggets being dropped here and there. What is behind this rift? Did Mo cheat? Did Kyle? Was it Lorene's passing which drove a wedge? Is it Mo's incessant partying and possible drug use (the latter is my theory) ? But as you say, nothing is concretely expressed, everything is implied, including Kyle making heart-eyes at Morgan as she sings...Some of this smacks of legal ass-covering, in case Kyle is put on the spot and says "Well, I never said Morgan and I are anything more than friends!" I've been watching the infamous S10 of RHOBH, and it is a study in contrasts, not least how far The Coven went out of their way to build a picture of hearsay/'evidence' against Denise in order to take her down (Rinna's transition from friend to ghoul who sold her soul to the show is especially chilling). This season is so different because there is simply no gossip or anecdotal evidence to grasp onto. A thought crossed my mind: suppose the much-trailed scene of Kyle & Mo talking to their kids... ends up being the two of them reaffirming their love and commitment to one another? And in the WWHL show which follows (featuring Kyle and Kiki Barth FYI), Kyle and Andy are all "Surprise, b!tches! We're back together." I think there would be an outcry from the audience that we had been duped. Full disclosure: the person who said that was probably me. I've been relieved to watch this season free of Rinna. The last few seasons have become so toxic and hateful because of her, I felt she hit a new low with the attacks on Garcelle that she appeared to orchestrate.... I was glad that she finally left. With the way this season went, I wondered if we were building towards something (BH can be a slow burn)... and then we had a lacklustre trip to Catalonia...and now it's the finale and I'm thinking "That's it? Oh, OK." I liked the lightness and friendliness, it was a blessing in disguise for Erika, that's for sure. I don't want Rinna back. Nevertheless, it's time to rethink some casting choices next season -- not a big reboot, but let's get the mix right. The last few newbies or FOHs (Diana, Annemarie) have been flops. Also BH is full of unfinished drama -- LVP, Brandi, Kathy, Kim, Rinna (gulp) could all come back. As could my lovely Eileen Davidson, lol. Kyle, unfortunately for some of us, remains the centre of this spider's web holding it together. That hurt to write, but we can't ignore that the show is intrinsically tied to her in almost every way. - Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
