Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Apparently this happened on WWHL last night (perhaps overshadowed by British royal family drama) -- Danielle Staub revealed that she will not be returning to RHONJ ever again: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7867399/Watch-Happens-Live-Danielle-Staub-announces-shes-leaving-Real-Housewives-New-Jersey.html Andy apparently also said Meghan Markle was welcome to join RHOBH, lol.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
She was perhaps prodded by a panicked production to show up and do a little something on the last day of filming and justify her cheque. And coming for Denise = a nasty little posting on Twitter. Bear in mind that Denise actually never showed up to the finale, so no Rinna-Denise confrontations on camera were actually had. It is very telling that amid all the gossip out there, we have heard absolutely zero about: Kyle, Erika, Teddi, Dorit. Nothing about Sutton, and little about Garcelle, except that she is supportive of Denise (sounds like G stays true to her own instincts). Camille is absolutely right to point this out.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
None of the current, non-deserving, diamond holders want to get their hands dirty onscreen, so they rely on FOHs and newbies to do that for them. And that includes the last OG standing, Kyle. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this has irreparably harmed the show.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
ok so I've thought about it. @Chris B that would be a MESS (but obvs a mess I would watch every second of). But for some reason that rumor isn't 100% plausible to me. It's not that Brandi wouldn't sleep with a cast-member to stay on the show (she would). It's just that I cannot see Denise sleeping with the biggest blabbermouth on the planet. And then letting Brandi hold that explosive secret over her & Aaron as blackmail. I may be wrong but I feel Denise is a bit smarter than that, especially after the messy Charlie Sheen-Ricky Sambora tabloid years. BTW here is another rumor about BH and the big 'scandal' supposedly surrounding Denise. Which begs the question: why isn't Nicollette Sheridan on this show?????????

LOL stabbing or stanning? About that rumor.... I need time to find the words.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Totally random. I heard the voice first and I got major flashback to him telling Erika "You're INHERENTLY cold." Kind of wish I had seen Dorit, but she was probably in NYC pretending to be thrilled for Erika's opening night in Chicago.

BH sighting: just went to get some lunch, and saw PK, aka Dorit Hairclip's husband, outside the side door of Selfridges department store (London). Didn't take a pic bc I feel awkward about stuff like that, plus didn't want to get tackled by the tough guy who was with him! PK looks EXACTLY as he does on tv btw, lol.

Ugh, that's too bad. But I guess they are ensuring that their feud dominates the new season.

Married to Medicine
Not going to lie, even tho Heavenly deserved to be called out by Simone, this is why I love M2M. The relationships between the women do feel authentic, and the deep bond between them is evident.

NJ: Team Neither of Them, in what must be one of the most contrived 'fights' in the history of RH contrived fights. For a start, Danielle and Marty can't seem to quit each other, so the premise for this fight is weak at best. Secondly, everybody looked like they were acting. Badly. Margaret knew what she was going to do with that water bottle minutes in advance. What exactly was Danielle doing to Margaret's make-up bag? Setting it on fire in the candles Steve Dann helpfully price-checked for us? Steve Dann looked absolutely thrilled by this turn events and probably paid for this fight to happen in order to bring traffic to his store. Teresa was so thrilled to have an excuse to go after Margaret. I've said it since last season: Teresa is highly threatened by Margaret's popularity on the show. Still don't understand why Danielle remains a FOH. Production is totally effing with her because they know she has nothing else.

Married to Medicine
First of all, I thought Contessa and Toya looked fab hair- and makeup-wise. Toya looked like a young Diana Ross. I love how she argues her ground so well and has fun doing it. IA w @Antoyne about Contessa having run her course on M2M. Jackie's hair is a no. I do think her apology to Buffie was very good and very heartfelt. But the cynical part of me thinks the backlash Jackie got also forced her to deeply re-appraise how she treated Buffie (especially with her arrogant first 'apology'). She had time to formulate a well-spoken speech asking for forgiveness, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I guess I'm not 100% feeling Jackie at the moment because she uses her attack dog, Devilishly, to fight her battles for her. Heavenly. OMG. Finally some payback is coming her way!! Don't get me wrong, Heavenly is great for the show because she is such a pot-stirrer. But she has been allowed to get away with saying awful things for far too long now. The problem is Heavenly's insecurities re: the others. She just has to best them at all times, and if she can't, she tears them down. The 3-storey closet was just one example. I hate how Jackie shields her with this whole "Heavenly regrets what she said so we gonna pray on that, so that she can become a better person!" Yeah, that never sticks. Devilishly is going nuts now that Simone and Jackie are on the path back to friendship. Like @Taoboi I am over Quad vs Mariah. I'm not sure Mariah has much going on outside of her feud with Quad. Quad is no longer married to med so she doesn't have a whole lot to offer either. BTW, I'm still getting used to Quad's tweaked face.

I hope so too! It surprises me that Melissa is the chief architect behind getting Danielle out of Teresa's life, when Danielle knows where allllllll the bodies are buried! I hope she spills those secrets, although right now she is obsessively focused on Margaret. Haven't watched the episode yet so I don't know whether I am Team Margaret or Team Danielle, but Margaret has been my fave HW on NJ up until now, so.... Having said that, I appreciate the drama and pot-stirring Danielle brings (much as I appreciated what Siggy brought to the show. As cuckoo as she was, I dont think she should have been replaced by Jackie who has no real connection to the group). Danielle could well be an insurance liability, but I think it is more a case of Bravo toying with her and holding that HW spot just out of reach. I remember that S2 attack on Danielle, and I was totally Team Danielle. Ashlee was a thug thirsty for screen time, and the way Jacqueline hovered around Danielle's car afterwards, goading her to get out, suggests to me that Ashlee's mom was a-okay with her daughter acting like that and may well have incited it. Not to say that Danielle wasn't looking for a confrontation, because she absolutely was, but the Manzo/Lauritas' holier-than-thou attitude always bothered me. Their hands were not clean with regards Danielle.

I don't understand either. As a fan of k-pop and k-dramas (also j-dramas and c-dramas), there is plenty of complexity, shade and dramatics to chronicle amongst the US's myriad Asian communities (not to mention those of Indian descent). But their presence on TV in the west is so muted. ( I remember Daniel Dae Kim standing out in Angel and Lost back in the day, but only in supporting roles). I would love it if an Asian woman appeared on RH franchise. Don't rule out BH, where Sherman Oaks and Calabasas have sizeable and successful Korean-American communities. Caught up with the Dallas reunion, basically Leeanne doubling down on her crazy and getting caught out on her half-lies. Not a good look. Everyone hates her ass on that show. It's almost worse than LVP on BH, where her success triggered jealousy and numerous takedown attempts. On Dallas, the women cannot stand Leeanne the person. Bravo has no love for her, either. This was meant to be her triumphant wedding season. Instead, she looked grasping, greedy, petty, her head inflated by her relative fame, obsessed with out-doing everyone in the tragedy stakes. The actual tragedy is her slo-mo implosion on our TV screens. How can she not see how bad she came across? I actually feel sorry for her because this is SO BAD for her -- and spells curtains for the show, too. I actually liked D'Andra this episode and thought she sounded quite reasonable with most of her points. Kary OTOH is literally the WORST. So obsessed with money that she thinks the only way to be truly charitable is to fling a cheque at the poor. So petty that every little thing Leeanne does is an opportunity to screech blame. Kameron did not come across great this episode and that makes me sad because I love her. Stephanie came out the winner in that face-off. Three-chins Brandi. I got nothing.

Ladies of London
@Taoboi @DaytimeFan I did not know Caroline and Cem had split up. That's sad, although they always kind of lived somewhat separate lives where she traveled around a lot doing her thing and he did his business. I thought it seemed to work for them, but maybe they grew apart. Personally I think Caroline Stanbury would not be out of place on RHONY where she is close with Dorinda, and I believe her beloved hairstylist Luke (who also appeared on LOL) also lives in New York. Especially if RHONY is missing Bethenny's outsized presence (which it surely is). BH sorely needs somone like Caroline too, but that nest of vipers may not be for her. Revamping LOL is also an option. Marissa is now in Pasadena but I doubt her nasally voice would be missed. Unfortunately, the vile, shark-eyed Juliet is still in London and still crazy close with Caroline Stanbury, so she could well be asked back. Juliet seems to have edged out Sophie Stanbury from Caroline's affections, but I would love if Sophie came back too, along with her pal Adela and the fabulous Duchess Caroline Fleming! Julie I can live without on this show. So basically LOL would be casting around for a couple of Chelsea-based Americans.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, I agree with @Chris B about Nene. It is hunting season for the OGs on all these shows, and Nene is in a more precarious position than even Vicki was. Vicki had a real chance of returning to OC with an orange, but her crazy FOMO got the better of her and she messed it up with her awful homophobic comments (I still say Vicki has latent feelings for Tamra and can't get past them). She showed herself out the door. Nene has production in no way inclined to showcase her. I don't blame them one bit after what happened last year, and when Bravo starts editing you off the show, you know it's curtains. And yes, ATL can carry on without her. But IMO there is still unfinished business with Nene that I want to see played out. Even not being there, she is still in the mix, especially with Cynthia, Kenya and to a lesser extent Kandi. Honestly, the face-off between Nene and Kenya has been YEARS in the making. Kenya came gunning for Nene's queen bee position right from the top (many say she succeeded in getting it), and Nene has always felt deeply threatened by her. I am more invested in that than, say, Eva's supposed beef with Porsha. Like @Chris B I think Nene's stank face and petty jealousies can still contribute something to ATL for the remainder of the season. Part 3 of OC reunion was really very good. After Vicki left, the women explained themselves with unexpected depth. Braunwyn actually surprised with how well she explained her feelings for women. Kelly at least calmed down. And the Emily-Shane segment was informative, lol. Tamra stood out like a sore thumb, though, as she looked to score easy points with Andy and the audience. So Braunwyn talking about her sexuality segues into Tamra squawking that she and Eddie had sex in front of a group of her friends and they saw his weiner. It's like she was constantly looking for opportunities to stay in the conversation. Tamra couldn't even connect on a human level with Gina and hug her. If Bravo wants to revamp OC, I think they should keep Shannon but jettison Tamra. However, I think they are afraid that if Tamra goes, there will be no pot-stirring or drama.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@DaytimeFan @chrisml I don't think Vicki is so much a prude as deeply jealous of Braunwyn for coming onto Tamra and making out with her! For so long, Vicki and Tamra had a deeply intense, deeply dysfunctional friendship which bordered on Vicki being a little bit in love with her. Or, at the very least, wanting to be Tamra's bestest and *only* friend. She has mellowed in recent times, but her reaction to Braunwyn seems like a throwback to those S5-10 years. She was protesting so loudly ("EW GROSS DISGUSTING" that methinks the lady doth protest too much. However, she also revealed herself to be a total homophobe, and best believe that both Andy and production took note of it. Vicki imploded and I don't think she even quite realises it. But anyway, I'd be surprised if she was back next season.

I can actually hear AC's voice reading those questions from 'Melanie in Grand Rapids' or 'Kayla in Bakersfield' lol. I wish he'd asked these! He really is so poor at questioning these people or holding them to account.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
YET AGAIN Tamra manages to evade getting called out on her pot-stirring and blame-passing. Kelly had an open goal, but she's too busy thinking up another swear word to babble some semblance of an argument. Contrast that with ATL when the ladies succinctly and perfectly deceminated Kim Zolciak. Instead, here, we got lots of "Wait, you told me... didn't you?" And Kelly decided to pick a fight with Shannon of all people -- the most coherent of the Tres Amigas. Shannon was not having it, and I don't blame her. Bravo may want to retool OC extensively, but if that means Kelly is at the top of that heap, how on earth will anybody call her out on her crap? The fear of being annihilated/sued will prevent anyone from really going there. With that being said, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone on this thread! I am thankful for the joy I get from reading your posts!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I have gone back and forth on the Kenya marriage question. Are they really married? Is this a business arrangement or a romance gone bad? I don't always trust what she puts on screen because she self-produces over and above Bravo production. However, watching this last episode, Marc's visceral dislike of his wife (or 'wife') was so.... personal, it strikes me that the relationship must have been real at one point to get to that point of hate and resentment. Yeah, revealing to Cynthia was not great. Kenya is a control freak, she wants to be in charge of everything significant that happens in other people's lives, and if she can't be, she kind of has to spoil it. Perhaps there was something of the romance of the gesture which unconsciously bothered her (even though I think she is genuinely happy for Cynthia). Eva is coasting. She thinks it's 'diva' just to show to a few events and cast a side-eye at people. I've said it before and will say it again: at least Nene (who we know is desperate to prove her worth on this show) cares enough to go BSC when she shows up somewhere! Apparently yesterday night was Part 2 of OC reunion! I didn't even know!

Marc hates Kenya. HATES her. He literally cannot stand anything about her, it comes off him in waves. He seems to resent her deeply and is constantly trying to show her up on camera. Love the Kandi, Cynthia, Kenya trio. Kandi especially was great this episode. "BITCH." The momentary tension between Kandi and Kenya was unexpected but not unwelcome. Nene may not have been missed, but her words in a card are still 100 times more relevant than Eva. Miss Thing shoving her pregnant belly onstage so she could hijack some of Cynthia Bailey's limelight! I don't know why that bothered me, but it did. Baby Pilar giving Dennis perpetual Stank Face made me cackle!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I am Team Marge, but there is no reason why Danielle should not be a full HW. She is basically Marge's entire story this year. Plus she is Teresa's confidante until they have a big breakup, caused in part by Melissa (according to Melissa). She is driving the main SL. I also hate when production try and train the audience to feel some kind of way about a HW, without showing us all the facts or letting us make our own minds about it. I can think if one or two other RH shows where they do that. Cough.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I love Joe Gorga. IMO he is a real housewife in all but name, and the heart and soul of the Gorga/Giudice clan. For a self-confessed macho, he is surprisingly in touch with his emotions and expressing vulnerability. He also strikes me as a naturally joyous person who loves life and loves people. His bromance with Marge's Joe and Jennifer's Bill is so fun to watch. Yeah, the Easter dinner was sad to watch, but I have such a soft spot for that family, especially the way Gia mothers Audriana, and Antonia and Milania are joined at the hip. I have no clue how Teresa and Not-So-Juicy-No-More produced these stoic, smart daughters, but it was the one of the few right things they ever did with their lives. Speaking of people who should be real housewives but aren't: Danielle Staub. There is no reason on earth this pot-stirring drama queen who has Marge and Teresa talking about her constantly should be excluded from main cast status!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree with you and @DaytimeFan so much on this. The more I watch, though, the more I believe Leeanne was xenophobic without even realising it. It's not that Kary is Mexican which is the core problem -- the actual problem is that Kary and Leeanne are oil and water, and Kary is D'Andra's henchwoman dedicated to 'exposing' Leeanne for any little thing she does. Nevertheless, Leeanne has clearly internalised negativety about Mexicans, and you can see it in her intonation of that word. She is mad that Kary does not know her place, that she is being too uppity, and how dare she be uppity, she's just a chirpy Mexican! Replace chirpy with effing, and with that tone? Leeanne absolutely has work to do on herself. I hope she is ready to do the work, too, after watching that footage (and I'm sure there are Texas outreach programs which would be more than willing to help). The second problem is the finale, where she doubled-down on everything she said. She was bullied. She was pushed beyond her limits. She doesn't recall saying it. She cant be racist cuz she slept with Mexicans and sat on Julio Iglesias's lap (um he is Spanish tho). She would never use the word 'chirpy.' She is sorry if anybody was offended by her using the word 'Mexican'! It was clear that Leeanne knew she had said the wrong thing at this point. She just did not want to be called out on it. That's the problem. Leeanne has a pride problem, and a fame-has-gone-to-her-head problem. I don't like Kary at all, but she deserved a genuine apology for those comments alone. D'Andra was so thrilled by this turn of events, she could hardly stand it. Honestly I am so turned off by her, and I used to defend her a LOT. If it wasn't for Bravo wanting to see Mama Dee every episode, D'Andra wouldn't even be on the show. I hope Leeanne does not double-down on this again at reunion because it will destroy her and the show. Personally, I have enjoyed Dallas the most this season and do not think it deserves either its low ratings or to be cancelled. But Leeanne's presence/story is the only SL in town right now. I don't know if the others can carry RHOD without her (much as I love Kameron, Stephanie or even Brandi and the Mama Dee story this year). This isn't NYC or ATL which have strength and depth in their casts. Dallas still feels new and shaky. I would be sorry to see it go, though, and personally cannot wait to watch reunion.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well, except for Emily. It was clear that Gina basically threw away Emily's friendship for a chance to audition for the Skipper role in the Tres Amigas. Actually, I just read something quite insightful on TT which said that Emily is a giver but Gina is a taker, and that never ends well. I think that sums it up pretty accurately. Now Gina has moved onto another giver, Shannon. I'm curious to see if Gina will talk about what happened with her ex. This season was better than it has been in years (better than the Meghan King Edmonds years for sure). But there is a lot of toxicity, especially between Tamra-Kelly-Vicki-Shannon, and it threatens to capsize the show if it gets out of control. Consequently, RHOC feels at a crossroads. Bravo appear to be deciding whether to (a) continue with this group and give Vicki her orange back. Or (b) make radical cast changes. I have nothing to support this feeling, but I feel like Tamra and Vicki might get jettisoned completely, and the show would be reconstructed around Shannon and Kelly. 1-2 of the Gina/Em/Brown group would get replaced by newbies.
