I may have to take a break, Ambyr has me dang near crying every time I watch.

Just caught up and these episodes were absolutely amazing! Ambyr Michelle was soooooooooo good, and I felt so bad for Eva, I actually teared up. I love that Andre was nice to her, that was my favorite Andre moment of the series thus far.

Maybe not this version of the story, but ideally if the show had really devoted the time and the energy to really explore Sami's choices and why she fell for her rapist, Will's pov is crucial. Teen Will shot EJ, Lucas went to prison for it, and it destroyed his family that he yearned for with the nearly the same fervor that Sami yearned for Marlena & Roman to be together.

I was very nervous about these scenes. Sami was the reason I really became hooked on Dool as a kid. I loved her, loved the friends-enemies-lovers story with Lumi, loved her relationships with her siblings and her parents (especially when she and John got along). However, the EJ story 2008 and on really soured me and I came to despise her. The first parts of scene with her and Johnny were done really well and they covered a lot of ground in an organic way. The Ejami hater in me just couldn't do with the "loved him more than anyone else" dialogue. I would have really loved for this story to be done back when Lumi had their affair before the kidnapping debacle. Will, Lucas and Allie should have all been a part of this, as so much of the EJ junk affected them as well.

GL: Some of my earliest tv memories was revolved around Reva Shayne, and the scene where Reva drove into the ocean always stuck with me. My mom and grandmother watched GL and once Reva returned in the mid 90s, preteen me was hooked and I stuck with it until the bitter end. Dool: I really started paying attention to Dool around 96' at age 10, I watched it every day with my grandmother. The Marlena/John/Kristen and Carrie/Austin/Sami sagas pulled me in. B&B: I'd always had a background knowledge of B&B, but as GL ended and Dool really began to turn me off, B&B sucked me in. I became a huge Steffy fan and the early Steffy/Liam/Hope triangle had me hooked. OLTL: I got into OLTL in the mid 2000s, I can't remember the exact hook, but I quickly became immersed in Todd/Blair and their history.

The first wedding was the 2005 "Stan" wedding and was written by Riley who just wrote Sami as hateful all the time. The second clip was right before the Sami/Lucas 2007 wedding and was during the whole Sami redemption arc therefore a kindler gentler Sami.

I am very intrigued by this new mystery character, I have no clue where you guys are going with that lol. The Bo and Victor scenes were great as usual, loving their dynamic. Looks tomorrow's episode will end with a boom! Keep up the great work, I'll be reading!

I agree with Tishy, that was a great scene between Roman and Carrie. I once again just won't to emphasize how much I love your version of Roman. As a Jarlena fan I could just these scenes in my mind. Sad to see Carrie leave even if it is just for a little while. One of my biggest things I want to see on the real Days is Sami and Carrie finally mending fences and acting like real sisters along with seeing John and Sami having a real heart to heart and acting like father and daughter. I am thankful to see that in your blog. Keep bringing the great stories!!

Just wanted to say that I've been catching up on your blog starting around the funeral episodes, and I love your vision for Days. It is absolutely perfect in my eyes, exactly what I want to see on screen. I love the way you guys write the couples as strong characters but keep the emotion and romance. The dialogue is amazing, you guys clearly have a great talent for strong emotional scenes and you stay true to history. Your version of Roman Brady, the strong but vulnerable man on a warpath to avenge the deaths of his "babies" is exactly how I want to see John/Roman behave. I love that Sami is a heroine but still feisty and I love the dynamic that all the Brady siblings have with each other. Keep up with the great work, it is a heck of a lot better than what the real Days has to offer. PS: The best thing No Ejami/Santeen and No Shelle lol.
