With Beyond the Gates receiving so much press here lately and viewers seeming to be tuning in, should the other 2 networks revive their daytime line-up?? Would ABC reviving OLTL or AMC be beneficial or would you like to see them create a new show??? I know it is still early in the game, and while Beyond the Gates is working on fixing its little nuances, I am optimistic for perhaps a revival of daytime

Okay so after yesterday's episode, I am looking at the Leslie storyline a different way. Perhaps her late love Alan, was a patient of Nicole's (since she is a pyschiatrist) who she couldn't save??? Leslie and her daughter in turn blame Nicole for his death. By trying to weasel their way into the Richardson home, could they be plotting to kill Ted and essentially make Nicole lose everything. Make her suffer as they feel they've suffered?? Could make for an interesting twist.

I think the murder may have something to do with Nicole's son, and be a source of his nightmares. Could it be that he was gulity and Bill got him off and knows it???

As for casting I do think they're a lot of newbies and green actors on the show... I do. mean you have to cut your teeth in the business somewhere. However, I do think that they're some seasoned daytime actors who are recurring on current shows that could bring a lot to the table if featured regularly on BTG. I am excited for Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom and hope they explore their characters more on the show. I do think in terms of casting, bringing in some other big daytime names would help as well. I do think that Victoria Rowell, Alicia Minshew, Tonya Pinkins, Valerie Pitiford, Timothy Stickney would fit in well in this show. What do you all think?? Ohh a Twin would be very interesting. Perhaps Leslie could project the love for Andre's dad on to Ted, turning it into a Fatal Attraction type storyline?

Could it be that Leslie was in love with Andre's dad or maybe was a lover of his and Ted kept them apart??? I am interested in seeing that storyline play out as well!!

I do think Bill knows Dupree family secrets that they want hidden or maybe even covered some of them up and that is why Vernon is a little tense around him knowing that he could bring the Dupree family down. It would be interesting to see those dynamics play out.

I do think Ashley's dad is somewhere on the canvas, we just haven't met him yet.

Okay, so I could not watch the show live due to working, but I watched Monday and Tuesday's episodes last night and I am really enjoying the show. I will say that Tuesday's episode was alot better than the premiere, but that is to be expected. I am loving Nicole and I will admit Haley as well. I do think that one of Haley's parents is somewhere on the canvas, we just don't know who....YET. I do think their is more story to Nicole's assistant and would like to see them explore that too. I think Eva is connected to Nicole's husband somehow??? Maybe a ONS that produced the daughter???? I am enjoying the cast, but do hope they will add some additional daytime names to the show that are not so Green (Hint Victoria Rowell as the sister of Tamara Tunie's character Anita or better yet a secret former lover of Vernon that no one knew about). Also, I do feel that the need to bring in another core family on the show to balance it out a little more. Someone who is competition for the Dupree's, etc. Someone whose Patriarch is the baddie so to speak (opposite of Vernon). But so far I am impressed and enjoying the show. Here is hoping the other networks, stand up and take notice and either bring on some new shows or revive some of the cancelled ones.

I am at work today and cannot wait to get home to watch BTG on my DVR!!!

We don't have to put any idea to rest.. Their is always hope. It's been 25 years and a new soap is coming out.

I hope with all the hype CBS is getting with it's new daytime drama that ABC will reconsider jumping on the band wagon and reviving AMC and OLTL or at least shop them to another network or hulu.

This is great news for the genre of Soaps. Hoping more networks follow suit even if it is reviving some of the older shows that were cancelled in 30 minute formats.

Does anyone know where I can view full episodes of the 60's 70's and 80-83 episodes of Days??

With CBS in talks to create a new soap?? Could there be hope that this genre is on the upswing and we could see ABC devleop new soaps or even revive AMC and OLTL?? I have some ideas on storylines if they do revive AMC??

This is exciting news for the soap genre and I hope it will be a tip to the other networks to create or revive other soaps down the line.

I wonder if they would bring in Dougs son Dougie... It would be a character with a lot of back story they could explore and it would give hope a sibling on the canvas.

While I agree it could affect Maria's history, there were all those years she was gone presumed dead in the plane crash and had amnesia and using the name MAureen I think. She could have very well had another daughter during that time, that was never really mentioned on AMC.
